Literally have a shirt with a song on it( the first song). Read it. More respect to the tons already had. Literally going to Coachella for him and suicideboys
Just wanna appreciate the fact that you not only got the lyrics here but you also kept the “God Only Knows” sample that’s missing on other platforms. Really holds “God Knows” and the artistic vision of the EP together!
I liked Knocked Loose before I heard this album, but I didn't love them. After listing to this and actually paying attention to the lyrics, I have a new appreciation for their songs and style. This album is amazing and tells a brutal story of love and loss. Absolutely must be listened to as a whole
Thanks for the like and the heart. I just found these guys, I listened to Laugh Tracks front to back and now this whole E.P front to back. Idk what to say I’m speechless. This band is fucking insane. Oh ya I also heard Deep in the Willow, that’s why I got turned onto Knocked Loose to begin with.
Listened to this album while live painting in an art battle last night. Had a lot of emotional stress to get out on canvas in 20 minutes. Thank you for releasing this❤
I totally get OG suicide silence vibes mixed with their own sound and some more progressive elements. So dark. Heavy in every possible sense of the word. My ear drums quiver in fear whenever I get around to new knocked loose music.
As a concept CD strange idea ? Intrigued me right off the bat . You guys nailed it in every way. Dealing with loss myself recently , the anxiety, lol not fun ..made me sad a few times on this brutal album . Great lyrics , great music ..Newest fan !!
I don't even listen to Hardcore anymore, but Holy ever living jesus heavenly fuck, you just might see my old ass in the pit for this one, Bring a stretcher, you'll need one kiddos.
@@Quiestre Its hard to understand right? xD But on every lyric-page it is "grave" and if you read the line after that "lowered beneath the dirt" I think that grave is actually the right word. But Im not 100% sure to be honest :D
a story like this is not something humans should become aware of. this could really fuck someone up, i've never come across such a dark and traumatizing story.... and i've been around...
@@DoubtingThomas333Yeah it sounds like he's saying this is cookie cutter. I would disagree, I like the band, I could see why people would think that if there not the type to like breakdowns, bands do kinda overuse them, personally I think Knocked loose use them well and it doesn't sound as cheap as some other bands
If the Exorcist made a punk rock album 😂. Their lead singer is a beautiful writer. I don't agree with his world view, but the lyrics are beautiful. Even if they are dark
I wish it wasn’t so polished. I wish they would have recorded this EP like records where recorded 20 years ago. It definitely would have made it much grittier of a record.
I disagree there, gritty production works well with some styles of metal, personally I think breakdowns sound heavier with better quality production and a nice thick guitar tone coming through, with production like they had in the 80s I don't think this would sound as hard hitting
They were obviously listening to a lot of Meshuggah when this was recorded, but I'm glad they made something of their own out of it other than being a by-the-number djentcore band.
@@nemesis8626 Yeah I remember Bryan was sharing his Meshuggah listening habits on Twitter. Sounds mostly like their Destroy Erase Improve era at parts.
@@theUBERsashimi I love how a comment that misinterpreted my message managed to get this many likes, apparently you gotta clarify to razor sharp precision to get your point across when describing the influences on this album, since I was referring to how they sound like Meshuggah at parts (especially in the opening track) but in a less conventional way than most would expect.
Fuck me, I’m approaching 50 and was about to retire from the pit but this fucking monster is calling me back. Incredible talent.
Best comment ive seen in a while
It always brings you back, man.
Don't listen to the new album then 😅
masterpiece. boundary pushing
I'm less than 2 years away from 50 and I hurt my back just sitting here listening to this badassery.
Bryan is such an underrated lyricist. I wish more fans payed attention to the things being said.
Yes the lyrics really take you on a (very dark) journey. You can notice his passion for horror games (P.T. and silent hill) in the subject matter
didnt his partner die in a car crash before this album?
@@premier3000 no? His partner is still alive and well.
Literally have a shirt with a song on it( the first song). Read it. More respect to the tons already had. Literally going to Coachella for him and suicideboys
Songs just sound better when you know the lyrics. Bryan is my favorite screamer
This band isn’t recognized for their talent nearly enough. One of the most artistically and impactful projects i’ve ever listened to
If you don't FEEL this you are dead inside. This is an amazing story of love, guilt and regret.
I feel this because I am dead inside
All metal fans are dead inside lol
But yeah, correct indeed!!

This is one of the best things I have ever heard. Stunning.
Wow never knew the lyrics of return to passion were about digging up your dead loved one and taking her home :D
Checks out tbh
I can’t remember the last time I actually listened to an album start to finish. That for me says A LOT about how much I’m in awe of this band.. WOW

Was recently introduced to this band. Holy fuck. Where the fuck have I been?
Deadringer got me hooked on these guys, brutal song

Seeing them in 3 days, can't wait 🤟🤟
Best album of 2022 imo.
The ending holly ffff ❤❤
Never really paid attention or wanted to listen to Knocked Loose... boy what did I miss
These guys brought back the truth in my heart❤
hoping i will be able to listen to this tomorrow
Hace años no escuchaba metal core del bueno … esto suena genial
15:55 man this really reminds me of carach angren. the wail and the lyrics over top a concept album
Thanks for the video man, appreciate not having to look up the lyrics muh self
Basically the whole album is a breakdown, can't wait to see them by the end of the year!
Knocked loose are breakdown the band 😂
so badass
The best way for me to describe this albums sound and feeling is a mentallly disabled rabid cat tearing everyone to shreds
😆
I don't even listen to Hardcore anymore, but Holy ever living jesus heavenly fuck, you just might see my old ass in the pit for this one, Bring a stretcher, you'll need one kiddos.
Knocked loose did that to me too. But I had no experience with metal at all. They were my first haha
Yeahhhhh ngl this band has me fully back into hard core.
this like cryptic horror religious vibe they're going for is fucking brilliant
forced to stay? more like, forced to slay
That was definitely a bit from the radio in PT at the start, wasn't it?
Some of the lyrics are wrong, but thank you for this. Appreciate it
