How To Do A Color Rinse On Natural Hair
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 лип 2021
- A step-by-step tutorial showing how to apply a color rinse to natural hair, with detailed instructions. A color rinse is a temporary or semi-permanent hair color that washes out after a few shampoo cycles. I'm using Jazzing Bluest Black Semi-Permanent hair color. This was my first time coloring my natural hair.

I never attempted to add color to my hair. After watching your video, I felt confident I could do it. It turned out well. I successfully covered my gray. Thank you!
Yassss. So glad I could help!
I watched this video a few times then ventured to Sally’s. Watched right before doing the for the first time, I’ve thought I was incapable of the rinse and at times go to the stylist only for the rinse. This video helped me achieve just as great regulars as I have had at the salon, my hair feels better and more moisturized than the application, the instructions were on point, used half the amount of product as salon, thank you so much! This has changed a lot for me!
You're welcome. So glad that my video helped you!
Thank you so much for the instructions on washing and conditioning after applying the rinse. So many people do not give instructions on how to prevent the color bleeding when you sweat. Thank you for doing so. I greatly appreciate it, ma’am. God bless!
Your hair, skin EVERYTHING is just Beautiful💞
Thank you so much ☺️
Thank you for teaching me how to properly wash the rinse out after applying the rinse!
💖💛💖💖🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
You’re welcome sis!
Sometimes we need to go back to an oldie but goodie product. Thank you for taking us back! Awesome job!😄❤
Ain’t that the truth. You’re welcome! ❤️
Beautiful woman 💜 been searching for an alternative to damaging dyes and just starting to learn about color rinses. This was so helpful, honest and trustworthy. Thank you so much!
You’re welcome! (And thank you ❤️)
It came out perfect - I love it ✨💕✨

Pretty!! Bluest black is my favorite.

I am so busy looking at your beautiful plants… your hair color turned out great.
Thanks so much sis ❤️. I was thinking about doing a video to show y’all my plant babies, but didn’t know if y’all would be interested 😅
@@GlamMzMore I am a plant lover yes please show your plant babies

Beautiful! 🙏
Thank you 🫶🏾
Yes. Gorgeous 💯
Thanks bunches ☺️
Your hair is beautiful, the color took very well!!!
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the tutorial ❤️❤️❤️
You’re welcome ❤️
Thanks for sharing.....🤗 I will definitely be trying this rinse.💞
You’re welcome ❤️
I've never seen the color black look so vibrant! I have stray grey hairs that are too many to pluck out, so I'm deciding to rinse them. Wish me luck 🤞🏿
You’ll love it. I never pluck as it’s said that the grays will multiply 😫
That came out really nice! I used to use black rinses when I was relaxed too for shine. I used a dark brown recently but may go back to black.
Thank you!
They have a clear gloss semi dye for shine.
Thank you for posting this! My natural hair is almost white, and I need to make a change. Your vid was just what I needed to see! Your hair looks beautiful.
Thanks so much and you’re very welcome. Let me know how your hair turns out if you try it!
You did a great job
Thank you so much!
Thank you😊
Beautiful, I’m excited to try this for the first time. I wish I had a hooded dryer
Thank you so much. You don’t need a dryer. You can wrap a towel around the plastic cap and just leave the rinse in a little longer
Thanks for the advice
No problem!
Beautiful 👏🏽 💯 😍
Thank you ❤️
I love watching everything that you do, from your blog, to social media-- so grateful to all that you share in great detail...it is appreciated. I am thinking about cutting my natural 4 c hair in the future, but have been worried about my gray hair--not ready to just go there with the gray strands that I have😜. So I was glad to see this video and to learn how you will be managing your gray moving forward. I will say that Whole Foods (any health food store) as a very natural color --permanent-- that is not harsh and really isn't a harsh permanent color system that works really well. Naturtint, is the name, check it out when you can-- permanent haircare, ammonia free, long lasting gray coverage. Thanks for all that you so sis!!!!!! 👑
Thanks for the continued support sis ❤️. I don’t really want to add permanent color to my hair at this time though.
I love it you’re beautiful and you’re hair is so pretty thank you
Thank you!
Lovely 🥰 your voice is so sweet!
Thank you so much ☺️
Nice job...inspired to go back to oldie but goodie...jazzin rinse is a great product.
Thank you. Love Jazzing!
Absolutely gorgeous! It's been a long time since I have put a rinse in my hair so this tutorial will definitely come in handy!
Thank you!
Thanks bunches and you’re welcome ☺️
You’re so gorgeous! I love how you styled your hair and I love your accent! 🖤💙
Thank you so much ☺️
New York?
Thanks for sharing👏🏽. You look beautiful🌺
You are so welcome. Thank you 🫶🏾
Thank you for this video
You’re welcome!
Thank you for sharing ❤ I need to cover up these greys
You’re welcome ❤️
You are beautiful and I love your voice. I’m going to try this brand. I usually use dark n lovely or biggens temporary dye. My hair is naturally medium brown but sometimes I love to go black without committing to it or damaging my hair
Thank you so much ❤️. I’ve never heard of biggens. I’m going to have to look that one up!
You are such a sweet sister! Thanks for the tips
Thank you, and you’re welcome 🫶🏾
Gorgeous and love the accent! Rinsing my hair today !
Thank you so much. How did it turn out?
That is very Beautiful ❤️ it
Thank you ❤️
That was my go to color when EyE was younger. It always shined and looked amazing.
You did an awesome job. Your hair color and cut is gorgeous, like your smile. ✌🏾👍🏾❤️
Thank you so much. And yes, bluest black has always been the move, from the wrap to the pixie cut! ☺️
@@GlamMzMore You're so very welcome Empress. Yes ma'am, that color is everything. 👍🏾🌹
You did an Excellent Job! 👏
Thank you!
Ik I'm like 5 month late but this is extremely helpful and you are so pretty btww❤❤
Thank you so much ❤️
Your hair looks 💣 I'm thinking about trying this sense I had an allergy reaction to permanent dye
Thank you so much. Let me know how it turns out if you try it!
Yes, I have the same issue. My scalp burns and itches times 100 with dyes. Rinses haven’t been an issue, but I haven’t had one in many years. I hope to do a clear Jazzing rinse on my own. I usually get it done at the salon but figure I can do it myself. 😊
Heyyyy 👋🏾 I've been referencing your my channel. I'm doin the big chop soon and I'm not sure if I want to put a dye on my hair. Thanks for sharing 😉💜🤗
You’re welcome. But please note, this is not a dye, it’s a rinse. It’s two very different things. Dye is permanent hair color. While a rinse is semi-permanent and washes out over time, depending on how you set it. Hope this helps ❤️
I had a hairstylist many years ago tell me that using a blue wash was the best way to make black hair look glossy.
The hair definitely has more shine with blue-based blacks
niiiiice!
Awesome appreciate you always beautiful...
Thanks sis. I appreciate you as well. Thanks for commenting!
Gorgeous results! Would you mind sharing the name/type of hair dryer you used?
Thank you. The dryer is linked in the description box ❤️
I love the Jazzing clear... I too used it many years ago on relaxed hair.. It softens and gives some shine. I too have a lot of gray now... And I can't find the clear... I know it will enhance the black....
It’s no need to use the clear with the black. The black already adds shine. The clear pretty much gives the same results, just without the color
@@GlamMzMore Thank you... Are you still rocking the TWA... ?
I see the clear on Amazon via her link above...you can switch the color selection.
You're so pretty and you did an awesome job!👏👌 love your hair!♥️ what do you use to coil your hair?
Thank you so much ❤️. I used a Denman Brush here. Check out this tutorial ua-cam.com/video/tZb20keZZR8/v-deo.html
Stunning! Can i ask where you got this kimono please!?
Thank you so much. Here you go amzn.to/3PfWwIr
How long did you leave it in sister 🥰🥰🥰
Enjoyed your video. I am new at putting a rinse in my hair. Why when I rinse my hair, most of the rinse is washed out!!! Please help😲
Do you mean the color (liquid) that you put on your hair is washing out, or once your hair is dry, there is no change in color?
If I wanted to use a red rinse wit a blonde rinse will anything happen? Like one side red the other side blonde? Please let me know thanks
I don’t see anything wrong with using a different color rinse on each side of your hair. The only thing is, the blonde won’t show unless your hair is already light.
yowza!..how do you do the style and coiling? this is gorG
I mentioned how I styled my hair and linked the tutorial in this video 😌
❤️❤️it
Thank you ❤️
If you want to add a Deep conditioner should you put it on the same time you use the rinse?
No, after you wash it out
What does bluest black means?
Your hair came out beautiful does your hair matte over night , my hair is always mattered in the morning and I sleep in a satin bonnet I use the hair sponge every other day. Thanks Sis
Thank you. No my hair doesn’t matte at all. Your hair may be getting matted because you’re using the hair sponge every other day. I used to used the sponge when my hair was really short, and only to style on wash day. Once my hair started growing out the sponge would cause tangling and matting
@@GlamMzMore ok Thank you so much
I just did a big chop in June, I’m going to finger coil instead of sponge I’ll being watching your video on that.
Thank you so much .
Peace and Blessings ❤️
You’re very welcome!
I always wonder if you wash your hair with shampoo before the rinse it after if any!
Before and after!
To avoid green tint with black. avoid ash tone. And use a natural base color.🙏🌹💝
You are cute! I love your voice.❤❤ Lovely results #LibraSeason ♎⚖💪🏾
Awww thank you ☺️
You look like Fantasia so beautiful
Thank youuu. I used to get that a lot when I wore a pixie cut ☺️
Hey I couldn’t get it to stick to my hair, I had to use adore for my red hair.
I’ve never used Adore personally. But I know back in the day Jazzing and Adore were the go to rinses!
Did you use heat while it was siting
Wow. A new beautician I went to had used the red Adore on me today. I love it
My hair is really short and natural. I didn't have to use the whole bottle. Can it be reused
Yes, it can be reused until it’s done. I always do this
I got my hair cut today I'm natural also I washed my hair this morning before I got it cut do I just go ahead and put it in
Yea, you can go ahead and put it in!
What if we don't have a dryer to sit under?
You can wrap your head with a towel or just sit with the plastic cap for 45-60 minutes. I don’t always use heat. The color holds longer though when I do.
Love it, what shampoo did you use
Thank you. This was a long time ago at this point so I don’t remember
Oh ok thanks for the reply
Hi
How often can you use the temporary rinse?
I usually do it about every 4-6 weeks. You can simply do it again when you feel like the color is no longer visible to your liking
What type of shampoo do we need to rinse out our hair
Whatever shampoo you typically use. Just be sure to wash until it rinses clear
@@GlamMzMore I thought we needed a special shampoo just cause we could dye in it
I've tried to use that brand in a different color 3 times and it never fully took. Could only see the color in the sun
You can usually only really see a rinse full color in the sun. The color won’t be as it appears on the bottle unless your hair is dyed or bleached
You look and sound like Fantasia.
Do you need to wash your hair after you rinse it out if you use the clear color? Thanks for your video!
You’re welcome. Check the instructions on the bottle. It’s been a long time since I used clear, so I can’t remember.
Seems like when I use it ony natural hair it does not take
It takes for me, aside from the stubborn grays on my temples. But it doesn’t last as long as it did when I was relaxed.
I’m going to try this product out. So you shampooed before the process and after?
Yes, your hair needs to be clean before applying the rinse, and you must shampoo it out
You think it’s hot in New York come to Texas.
Soon enough lol
