I think it's the best song on the album, the subject matter is tough but he needed to address it.. I think that's Em's therapy, his flow on the 2nd verse is him at his best. Don't know if you've ever heard it but give headlights a listen, it's kind of an apology to his mam for cleaning out my closet & a lot of the other stuff he said back in the day. Bad husband is another apology to his ex wife

I grew up without a father too as he never wanted anything to do with me and my mom raised me by myself and this song HITS HOME! That last part about his dad is yeah... The feeling i got when i heard that part just blew me away, never related that hard to a song. I’m 22 now and i feel what eminem saying about it being a scab. Wounds like that never heals, on a good note this song has made me realize i should pay my father a visit and tell him face to face how much he screwed me and my mom over, i want him to see the hate in my eyes before he pass so i won’t have the regret of not doing it like Em.
