I've had my qualms after my Fourth Wing fiasco (did you see that vlog?!), but I don't want to swear the genre off, so we're trying a new release called "A Fate Inked in Blood" by Danielle L. Jenson. I've never read any fantasy books at all so I'd like to read at least one to see if I like that genre, maybe not romantasy quite yet though 😂 Have a lovely birthday!

I like romantasy but it can be pretty hard to find a decent book in the genre! I need a good balance of plot and the romance to not feel rushed/insta lovely. I also like seeing bipoc main characters and that is really rare as well. I started the high mountain court and enjoyed it but I haven't finished it yet, it seemed to have some pretty good world building and things didnt feel too rushed, id say its worth giving a shot.
