Assassin Magnas only count as Corps for list building and battle cards. They count as SFC units for all other purposes, such as command cards, and use SFC order tokens.
Yes that's true. A rule that we got wrong and will correct in the future!
Love the lists and really enjoy how you guys show the game being played! Everything is super clear and easy to understand. I've got a bunch of magnaguards I've been working on painting so I may have to pickup some commandos and give those experimental droids a try soon!

This is such an intresting list for CIS ED. I builded them myselfs in a full melee focus style when I was thinkering with kraken, but like you builded it this way its more a gunline that can pivot into a decent melee when in a pinch.

Great order control also. Give the order to kraken and its basicly perfect already (magnas only count as core in listbuilding and objective setup, but not in terms of the rest of the game)
Into most armies this list has the potential to dominate. Dice variance in this Battle Report caused Tyler to faulter. Turn one was all CIS.
The way he played the Super Tac, I probably would have played Kalani instead of Kraken. Was that due to playing a list that was not planned on facing?
I think Tyler was thinking of going full ham on the empire list. But the objective did not allow for that and Kraken had to be the objective grabber.
@@crit2block that makes sense. It looked like a strong list but any list and any player can lose to the wrong objective.
Just getting back into Legion, when did MagnaGuard become a corps unit?
They are an available corps a unit in the experimental droids battle force.
The standby shenanigans (around 35 min) seems off to me. The Magna didn't trigger the Scout standby because of the terrain but the Scouts trigger the Magna standby? Wouldn't the terrain also not allow that? Maybe in the future some line-of-sight checking on camera would reassure viewers that you have indeed worked it out or agreed on the terrain's blocking capability.
Also, what was Empire thinking hanging a lone green bike out to dry facing all those squads instead of simply shooting a single-mini unit approaching the center box?
We can do our best to show more line of sight calls in the future. Both players had agreed to how things shook out but you're right we can show more fore the audience.
As for the bike sometimes mistakes or bad decisions are made. Legions got a lot going on and filming on top of everything else makes it easier to slip up.
I sadly don't see a use-case for the ED magnas or snail tank, which is unfortunate because I think the battleforce is supposed to help bring out their play. Even the droidekas that people bring seem like a worse version of oops all BXs
The full BX version of this list is hands down the best version
