    If you're looking for something to fit tighter at the eaves of the greenhouse at work use an "inside closure" that matches the profile of our panels. I'm not sure if the HD you bought the panels at would have them or not. I'd give your the product number that we use to make a component order from our plant in Eufaula, but I don't think the profile would match. I hope this helps.

    Mia, thank you for the info, we are going to construct a greenhouse and this was very helpful. of course i would have a huge green house but for now.....we will build a 6X10 in the small level space we have. We have a level protected area that is ready to build on. Our days of big diy projects are over he is 78 and i am 75, we still have dreams and schemes. They just have to be managed. You two are a great blessing to all of your followers. Enjoy every min of your lives.

    Super jealous of your greenhouse. We used to have one but it was nearly 60 years old and the weather finally wore down the cinder block base it was made of. Now most of what we have is started under lights in the basement. First flower seeds went under lights today!
    Thanks for showing us around, Jeremiah!

    Hey Mia, when you use the foam. Use painters/masking tape to block off areas where it might drip. This way you can leave an opening and "direct" or "guide" the expansion direction. Also putting on the the green/blue painters tape to protect the surfaces it might drip on. This way you could cut back the excess "puff" from spill-over and then pull up the tape that the faom will stick to, instead of the surface you are trying to protect.
    I hope that helps.

    So many modifications on a Kit! Lol. It got Jess started in greenhouse gardening, so it was worth it. My sister and her husband have been talking about building a greenhouse for about 3 years. He suffer from analysis paralysis. He also starts things and never finishes. I wish they would talk to me about what they want in the greenhouse, instead of buying books, and let me design and help build it. I love building projects.

    This is just a suggestion... I noticed your heater is up on a shelf... I live in the frozen north... Heat rises... To get more heat for the electricity you pay for heat before it leaves because you can't insulate very well... Moving the heater to the floor will allow the heat to rise up and then escape... For both greenhouses you may want to consider adding soda can heaters made out of pop cans painted black to heat during the day... I built 2 for the greenhouse I am building... I added another like door over the window front... Made outof the silver bubble wrap so I can close them to turn them off... Hoping they make it so I am not paying for heat all day... Great job repairing your kit... Awesome video...

    Miah, thank you for the in depth look. Jess does the education on the plants and growing, which I love. But, it is the infrastructure on a farm that isn’t published too often. You rock! Maybe we can see more on the fences, the gate to the garden, and even the door to the chicken coop in an in depth video. VERY HELPFUL to hear how to do it and more importantly what not to do. 😍😋😍😋😍😋😍

    Your greenhouse looks amazing! My oldest daughter bought me the 6x8 Harbor Freight Greenhouse and I'm trying to do some minor mods like gluing shade cloths onto each panels which is time consuming but it'll save my plants from excessive heat living in Vegas; it's intense summer heat! I also want to add those tack roofing screws next and fix the leak holes to cold weather, rain, or air won't get through! The bottom of the greenhouse is secured with 4 posts. It's a lot of work but I love this greenhouse!

      As Jesus's half brothers & sisters we are to act like him, speak like him and do as He does.
      We are to speak positive things not negative, we are to walk by faith and not by sight. We are to say things as though they already are, no matter what it looks like in the natural.
      So.... as we are Blessed by God as his children we are to bless others. I hope that helps, there are scriptures to support all I wrote above if you are interested in them just message me, I'd love to explain further. :)

    • @lorianncrownedingrace3741
      @lorianncrownedingrace3741 5 років тому +1

      Yahweh blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who don't. If someone can bless Israel then we can also bless others. You can bless God as He is blessed by the way we follow Him. He blesses those His children bless. Speaking blessings is as important as being a blessing at times when you don't have a physical way to bless others. I understand what they are saying and after considering it I may start doing it myself. Blessings to all!

      Lori Dalton thank you! I try to understand these explanations. There are people that I feel are such blessings to those around them, like Jessica. I just don't feel like I am one of those people. I hope to be a blessing to others one day. I fail so miserably in every area of my life. I know God still loves me and is still my cheerleader. I'm in awe of people who have this beauty that emanates from them radiating God's magnificence. I know they must work hard to maintain such a relationship with Him. I don't have that yet. I'm still trying and failing every day.

    • @lorianncrownedingrace3741
      @lorianncrownedingrace3741 5 років тому +1

      @@erikawhite3520 you are very welcome! I agree! Jess is a very encouraging and inspiring lady who seems to ooze Spirit and love! But..... Like all of us, she fails at times. Not saying I have seen much since I have recently been introduced to her vlogs but I know we all fail. I completely understand how you feel! I have felt the same and at times let myself still feel that way. It is very hard to stay in the spirit which is the only way we can abide and show others Who God truly is. It isn't easy but it is simple. Following Christ and His example is required. We must die to the flesh and live for Him and always think "more of Him and less of me". His ways are always better than ours, yet that flesh always wants what we want. It is human nature since the fall of man. Keep pressing in closer to Him. Talk to Him without ceasing. Learn His Word and follow ALL of His commands to the best of your ability. All He asks is "Love the LORD God with All your heart, all you soul, and all your strength". Again....simple, yet not easy when the flesh is involved.
      Praying for you! You are never alone!

    I love your greenhouse :) We staggered the plastic roof panels with metal on the roofs of our barns to allow a lot of natural light inside our barns. They do not handle wind very well and we have had to replace several over the last 10 years. We have them secured with metal roof panel screws, they will shear off in high winds and we have even had a large tree limb blow through one as well, lol. They also dry out and become brittle. You may want to keep a few replacement ones on hand for emergencies.

    I have the same kit and solved panels blowing out by doubling the number of clips and using chain link fence top rails across the width of the walls for rigidity. A pair of HF solar panels powers lights for night time duties. 12" gravel with buried french drain pipes are fed warm air from the ridge by a small fan during the day to moderate temps. at night. Great vid. Thanks

    Very good information. You confirmed some points Papa Bruce and I are considering as we do a makeover, too. Excited to put action to idea to getterdone.
