I bought the greenhouse for my girlfriend and am doing some research to lay out the best way to set it up starting at the time of assembly, which will be sometime before the thaw I hope. I figure it will take a couple of weekends to get the trench/foundation prepared, especially if I try to build in something like your solar and plumbing solutions. Hope you have a mild winter/rainy season.
Out of curiosity, did you have one and if so, did you do any extra framing to strengthen and anchor it? I also live in Montana and have been watching videos from people that live in windy places for ideas on how they built theirs. Many did additional wood framing to keep it stable and screwed all the panels into the tracks to keep them from popping out, things like that. Other brands are so expensive, I'm trying to decide if by making some of these modifications, I don't have to spend $10,000 for a similar size.
