Nice to hear the tires cry, sounded like around 35mph? I love that about the Viggen. That 2.3 is a MONSTER for a little 4!! Nice catch on the check valve. About time I replaced mine too. :)
I did this on my Saab 9-3 arc. One day I turned the car on an my turbo gauge was higher so as soon I press on the gas , there goes my boost not holding but releasing quicker... I can hear this whistle ? The car work didn't get no engine light took me 5 days to find it as I'm adding only an hour to work on it due to work and stuff and I spray some starting fluid and the engine made a sound so I touch the hose and it collapse.. 😒 wtf... So I had a hose that I bought and I notice that it fits so if before my boost was at 9 now I change two of those hoses n use the silicon one now my boost is at 11 and woahh like huge improvement. I have a 2005 Saab 9-3 ARC 2.0T with the B207R and I used Torque app to check my boost
Well I'm in the process of doing the same... but I can't figure how did you connect the fuel hose on the back of the throttle body? Did you reuse the nipple from the old EVAP line?
@@BWTECH0521 Not a question of buying is a question of how you hook it up... Watching the video and having seen mine as you remove the old line there's still a piece of rubber with a clamp do you take it of and there's a nipple? And you use that nipple?
where is your source document for that design cahnge ? i'm chasing down a p1110 on my 2001 9-3 and would like to have more documentation before I do this mod thanks
That code is for a bad turbo bypass valve I think. It's the black valve with the 3 hoses coming out of it. I don't have an official source other than the fact that the newer 9-5 has the newer design.
@@BWTECH0521 i know. All hose replace and valve replace and still have the code. Notice a delay in the idle to go down when I shift. So looking for a leak and the check valve was bad. I thinkbthat could create that idle issue and could also turn the p1110 on. At a point were i need to try different things
@@christophsmaul5575 I'm not too knowledgeable about oil consumption issues other than the typical leak at the valve cover gasket. I suggest you take it to a pro!

Yes the tire chirp was a pleasant surprise! I did miss that about my viggen too 🙂
Love your work! 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
Thanks Kim! Lmaooo
Hey Suuah~~ welcome back !! 😂

HEY YOU CAN HEAT THAT HARD TUBE UP WITH BOILING WATER!!!!! THEN THEY JUST POP RIGHT OUT.

Also I assume you joined the Cobra to the Solenoid, I just reused a section of that black tubing I cut down for a joiner.
Yea I should probably do that too, thanks!
Is the hose you plugged up 5/16 as well?
Honestly not sure because I just plugged it with a random bolt.

I didn't have to buy anything new for that side. I used the existing clamp!

Great video. Can you write please the part number/size of the valves and the silicone hose in mm?
See links in the description
Great, many thanks🎉
I did this, without the bolt mod, just the valves. But my turbo still dosnt go into the red
that means it's leaking at another vacuum line :(
@@BWTECH0521 i also have high oil consumption. Do you think my oil trap/crankcase ventilation box could also be a cause for lower turbo pressure
