I live in Wednesfield and only a month ago, I parked my car in this very same public car park, where this man parked his, and had the 4 hub caps pulled off my wheels and stolen in broad daylight when I was shopping. I wish the police, next door, had been more vigilant that day.

Off being searched for effectively 'going equipped' can they in that circumstance for example go through a wallet to try and determine identity. That was an identity search for sure

Yep, got more chance of being arrested for hurt feelings than drunk and disorderly these days, sad to see the UK and in general Western Society now, only armed nations still have some kind of fear factor but Sweden is one example of them even with Glock 9 at their hands, now not even going into certain areas due to the risk factor, same in Germany as well, many places the police simply refuse to enter if something happens.
