DO NOT TALK TO POLICE for any reason. If you've done nothing illegal then they have NO power to make you give up your rights. This is a perfect example of how a bully works, there's no reason to even approach or speak to a person so they question, and push, and behave rudely, and get in your space, and are sarcastic, give false orders until a person reacts then they take this as a reason to throw all kinds of false laws and offences, enough to even arrest someone. Those coppers will literally have gone home that night believing they've done a good job that day. The next day and every day after it gets easier for them to bully more and more people. They feed off it, they can't be bothered to take a report of a crime, but they'll go out of their way to gang up on one person to feed their insane egos. This happens thousands of times a day, everywhere by police forces.

Definite assault by the coppers. They both said they "ASKED" AB to take his hands out of his pockets. Hands in pockets cannot be a reasonable ground. Coppers can't go hands on by a suspect failing to agree to a request. AB was not detained at the time of the assault. Neither coppers are fit to be paid by the public. A sergeant claiming to be made "uncomfortable" is laughable if it were not for the fact of being paid by the public. Their body language gave away that they were unconcerned by AB's presence when dealing with the other members of the public. ACAB.

Because of my job I have had interactions with every Police force in all of these Countries. Hand on heart I have never witnessed such outrageous, illegal behaviour, from an officer whose ego is beyond believe. I would suggest, the C.C. of West Midlands Police needs to be made aware of not only the sargent's role in this abhorrent action, but the other 3 officer's need to be retrained in how to interact with the public. They have been well trained (probably by this sargent ) in how not to behave. I will be writing to the" Standards Department" to express my disgust at their officers behaviour. • @e.w.1179
    @e.w.1179 9 місяців тому +5

I am a Retired Police Officer.
    I Retired in 2012.
I have recently started to watch the Audit Videos.
The more I see of them, the more I am shocked at the state of the Police Service of today.
I have started commenting on the Videos.
Where do I even start with this one?
I can only go off what is in the video.
However, when the Sergeant says that he cannot hear the Auditor, then how can it be safe for him with his earpiece in to hear what else is occurring in his surroundings?
I suspect that that was just a way of getting closer to the Auditor and invading his personal space.
To see the Auditor better and what, if anything, he was doing, it would have been more advisable for the Sergeant to have backed off a little.
This would allow him a better view of what the Auditor was doing, and also put distance between them, in case the Auditor was intending to Assault him.
I am surprised that the Sergeant believed that the Auditor was acting suspiciously by watching the Police and not the G4S Van behind the Sergeant.
A Member of the Public had approached the Sergeant to Report a Crime.
As far as I was aware from my Service, the Sergeant was obliged to take that Complaint.
Not hard to submit a Report over his Police Radio.
I suspect the reason was, that if he submitted the Report, the Investigation might be returned to him to investigate….possibly too hard to do for him.
The Sergeant is that concerned about a potential threat from the Auditor, that he approached him with his hands in his pockets.
Not only scruffy and unprofessional., but, what if he needed to react quickly to a threat from the Auditor?
I was always taught to be aware of my surroundings.
Once, when I was being shown the ropes by an experience Police Officer, I approached a driver of a motor vehicle to point out to him that he had a defective vehicle light.
I walked between the front of the Police car I was in and behind the vehicle where the driver was.
When I returned, the experienced Officer pointed out to me that if the driver had reversed suddenly and crushed me, the Officer would face a choice of helping me of pursuing the Offender.
He asked me why I had approached the Offender and I told him that it was concerning a defective light.
He put it to me that the driver could be an Armed Robber with a shotgun on the front Passenger Seat, who thought that I was going to try to Arrest him.
Not many weeks after, a Police Officer was shot dead by an I.R.A. Terrorist driving a car, when the Officer went to speak to him to perform what he believed was going to be a Routine Vehicle Check.
My point being that IF the Sergeant WAS really concerned about the Auditor putting his hand in his pocket, then in some cases it might be best to close down a person`s personal space, but here, I suggest that anyone REALLY concerned about the Auditor having a weapon in his pocket, would have backed off slightly, both to have a better view of what the Auditor was doing, and also to give time for the Sergeant to react accordingly if required.
That would have avoided the necessity for the Sergeant to take hold of what is possibly an innocent Member of the Public.
I was always taught, that if I took hold of someone. it was technically an Arrest.
That once Arrested a person should be told that they are under Arrest and if applicable, be Cautioned.
To terminate the state of Arrest, the person should be de-Arrested and informed accordingly.
The female Officer appeared to touch the Auditor`s leg.
Reverse this where the Auditor deliberately touched the female`s leg?
A Report of Sexual Assault by her perhaps?
Being a Police Sergeant, wearing a Police Uniform, did not make that Officer right.
It makes one wonder if the Sergeant was not the one who was committing an Offence of Harassment, Alarm and Distress to someone in a Public Place, and should have been banned from the area for 48 hours to protect the Members of the Public, from HIM.
IF I had acted like the Sergeant in my Service, I should not have been surprised if I was Investigated and as part of the process shown the video and asked to justify my actions.
Then again, since I joined the Police Service, Standards of Recruitment have fallen alarmingly.
I sometimes feel angry that there are some Officers now who wear the Uniform I once did with pride and professionalism,
I remember an old saying: “If you pay peanuts, you`ll probably get monkeys”. G.

Both commit the offence of Assault and battery on the basis of both unlawful threat of arrest (causing alarm, harassment and distress), followed by unwanted and unwarranted physical contact. As for the unlawful issue of Sectoon 35 dispersal order, that’s a real problem for him. I suspect they had no idea he had his camera glasses on

All those questions to get your name, details and whereabouts, but doesn’t question or ask for any details from the chap wanting to report a crime. They couldn’t wait to get rid of him!!

That sergeant is seriously giving me panic attacks. I thought the police were to protect the public? I’m developing a real fear of the police when I see this behaviour especially when there has been women raped and killed by police in the past 🥺

The police aren't really supposed to 'protect the public', that's in America where they 'serve and protect'. In the UK the police serve the crown.

Makes me scared to go into any town these days. I just know there will be tyrannical bullies like these around and no one to turn to for safety. Their presence there is very unnerving. I am a female pensioner.

Strange when you call them up they refuse to give any info out, what has data protection got to do with asking if a order has been put in place.

I've watched this again, and it really does get worse each time. But in the end Sergeant Willetts in his own little bubble of wisdom admits to his error, but can't even see it... He says "So you were observing, so I am correct" and that is the basis on all his actions that followed from his first approach. And the discussion leading up to the moment AB reveals himself is embarrassing at best for Sergeant Willetts. So basically do not watch the police at work or they will disperse you in Birmingham. But its fine to watch anyone else at work, be that a builder, a bus driver, a street cleaner, but not a policeman or someone called Sergeant Willetts, because if you do, your outta here!!! He is not fit to be a traffic warden, never mind a Sergeant in the Police Gang.

Absolutely pathetic. First they refuse to help someone who has been robbed of his belongings and then they abuse their powers by dispersing you for no reason. Useless idiots.

Yea because with their limited intelligence they cannot solve any burglaries only very minor situations they have lost the respect of the public, the police have always relied on help from the public to solve cases now people are not willing anymore
