I really like these simple, set based workouts with no fussy, complicated compound movements like so many fitness influencers use. Sometimes, basic is most effective! Thanks!!
Using heavier weights does make this an excellent routine for anyone, not only beginners. I went at your pace and used heavy (for me) weights and really concentrated on quality. Great workout! Thanks Maddie! ❤❤
I am 34 y.o. sedentary male office worker. This video made me feel good about myself. It was still hard but really beginner friendly. This work out is more professional than many upper body workouts prepared by males. They are usually fast and unnecessarily over-produced. Thanks a lot.
Maddie, I loved this so much! I really liked doing multiple sets of one workout all at once instead of repeating a circuit. It really helped me focus on the targeted muscles. This will now be my go-to for arms.
As a beginner I totally loved this! What scares me the most is injuring myself from not having the proper form because, even though I don't use heavy weights I don't have any experience, so this video helped me a lot. Thanks so much for it, I really enjoyed it 💗 Also, a similar video for the lower body would be amazing too 🙌🏼
I am 34 and just restarted my weight loss journey. I enjoy your pacing. I feel the burn but it's still simple with no frills. I also appreciate that you easy to understand guidance. The pinky comment really helped me!
I love how this workout focused on the foundations of strength training. It caused me to really focus on form and control in a way that made the routine much more intense than I anticipated. My muscles feel thoroughly worked and evenly hit. I really enjoyed this. I didn't have a lot of motivation today, but this workout was the perfect pace for low motivation without compromising at all on its effectiveness. Thank you for creating this one, Maddie. (By the way, this is coming from someone who is in no way a beginner to fitness or strength training. It might be beginner friendly, but it's definitely not just a beginner routine. I appreciate that about it.)
Great video! You are an inspiration! One of the biggest things that has helped me build muscle has been a custom meal plan from Next Level Diet. I use it every week and I love it!
thank you for giving tips on how to fix our form and make sure we are using the right muscles during the exercises, it's SO helpful! I was able to do tricep extensions with ease on my elbows by following you and i would usually skip them bc of the pain i'd get from this exercise. Thank you so much for making easy-to-follow videos!
This was incredibly helpful! I'm a beginner and this was sooo supportive for focusing on form. Repeating the same exercise 3x was great w that as well. I'm not sure if you already have one of these beginner lower body workouts w weights, but if not I would love one. Thanks Maddie :)
I’m 69 and reasonably fit but desperately in need of upper body strength training. I worked with 8 pound weights for all sets but switched to 5 lbs for the last three. Perfect for me. 🙏
My physio finally gave me the okay to start lifting weights again after an elbow injury, and I've been looking for an easy routine to get back into it. So glad I came across this!
Oh girl!exactly what I was looking for!I've been doing your older ones multiple times!so grateful for your consistent uploads!❤greetings from Greece 🇬🇷
It’s my first week at the gym and my first session doing upper body today and for someone who has no clue what they’re doing, this just helped me out so much!!
New subscriber, love the simplicity and good vibes. I'm a male in his 30s whis never gone to the gym but I want to change that. This video helped a lot!
Thank you very much for this wonderful workout. I really liked that you explained how to execute the exercises. I could see that I was doing several of the exercises wrong. Thanks again and I hope you continue with these explanations in the videos. It helps a lot.
It was very useful & enjoyable workout, I really enjoy videos. Thanks for being here. My wife & I started to do your practice from 2019 on. Good luck. 💪
Hey! Madfit!😉 Your one of the best fitness instructor's out here plus one of my favorite UA-camrs to watch. I really enjoy your workouts and the cool color outfits looks great on you too 😍. Nice work ethic ❤
Love love your workouts Maddie!!! Just started exercising a month ago and your videos have helped me so much and you keep me motivated. Thank you so much❤. Love from South Africa ❤🇿🇦
Not sure "enjoy" is the word that I'd pick here haha. I made it through with my usual weights but it wasn't super easy. I find these workouts that are adaptable via the chosen weights oh so helpful because I will use them for years to come. Thank you Maddie!
I don't consider myself a beginner so I adapted this workout to what I thought that suited me better and it turned out very challeging! I used 8kg dumbells throughout and then lowered to 6kg for the lateral raises; I also performed bent over rows (so standing instead of on my knees). My arms were on fire in the end but it felt great! 😊 Loved it! 💪🔥
Great workout! I love doing the three sets together. It really fatigues the muscles and feels like I'm doing my best. Thanks for the reminder about the grip. I had a trainer who used to say that the weights "are you friend not your lover."
This was really good for beginners. I went down to 5 pounds for the last exercise. Overtime I can see myself increase the weight with consistency. Thank you ❤
Came across this while looking for a basic routine to get me back into things, having not done weight training in years. The pacing was good and felt good burn on the major muscle groups. Other videos assume you're 20 or still gym fit. Thanks for the video!
I’m not a beginner, but I love this workout! I like doing three sets of one exercise before moving on to the next…really helps to concentrate on one area at a time. 💪🏻
Lol I underestimated this beginner friendly workout so I shortened my rest at first ONLY. Cheers Maddie for doing the last exercise with 5 kg. I can’t do them in regular days with these weights so I had to use my 3kg instead. Thanks for the friendly burning workout 😂💕!
Awesome video. I just stated back up on upper body resistance training and this is a great overall upper body workout! I love your style and the variety of your workouts.
Just getting back into the swing of things and this upper body workout is perfect! Love the 3x sets too helps it feel more manageable vs cycling/circuits
I did one of your upper body and abs 💪🏾 videos today but I can't wait to do this one❤!! I love these beginner style workouts to help us practice form💟!!
I really like these simple, set based workouts with no fussy, complicated compound movements like so many fitness influencers use. Sometimes, basic is most effective! Thanks!!
This is beginner friendly, but using heavier weights makes this a great strength workout too. Thanks Maddie!

When Maddie post a workout vid … AUTOMATICALLY SAVED 👏🏽❤️👌🏽
Sometimes I just save it but never workout 😂😂😂😂 so I end up with this huge amazing workout list that's never done 😉
@@chaimabch3629 That's definitely me!

After being pregnant and raising at 2 year old toddler, my body was screaming for exercise , Thank you ! It felt amazing to workout my body again.
Thanks!
Your workouts are more than amazing! I am doing them 4 times per week to lower my cholesterol 🥰 thanks alot maddie!!🤩🤩🤩

Maddy you are the only reason I’m living this work out lifestyle and even wanting to lose weight. I appreciate you sooooo much😭😭😭💗
I just did this, It was wonderful and engaging , not overwhelming, totally great for all kinds of people.
I don't consider myself a beginner so I adapted this workout to what I thought that suited me better and it turned out very challeging! Loved this. All the exercises are doable but I definitely still felt the burn. Thank you for creating this!

Excellent! Doing as many different exercises with weights as possible, so it never gets boring but always something new!😊
Came across this while looking for a basic routine to get me back into things, having not done weight training in years.
The pacing was good and felt good burn on the major muscle groups. Other videos assume you're 20 or still gym fit. Thanks for the video!
