Thanks for the comment. They taste fantastic. Just make sure the rub that you use doesn’t have a lot of salt in it and they will turn out fine. Thanks for watching 😎
Had to look at some old videos. We layered the wood in the bottom of the weber then lit a large hand full of charcoal in a separate chimney. When coals were ready we dumped them on top of the wood in the weber then waited until the wood was ready.
@@brianbishop4861 LOLOLOLOL!!!!!! you are hilarious!!!!! remember this commercial? - wife: 'do these jeans make me look fat?' - husband: 'its not the jeans' 🤣🤣🤣
Neat, I've always wanted to try some kiln-dried firewood in my Weber to see what would happen. Looks like a decent firewood should burn hot and clean. Have you experimented with different wood?
Yes, we have tried lots of different wood to smoke and cook with. you can actually look up a chart on google to give you an idea of what kinds of wood pairs well with different meats. Dont just use any wood. Some wood is actually not very good to cook with. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
I’m gonna try using all wood one of these days. Thanks for the video!
Awesome 😎. Wood definitely adds a different dimension of flavor. We love it

What did you use too ignite the wood ?

@@bluffcitygrub than you for the help
Welcome 🙏
What flavor of wood did you use.
Any fruit wood such as apple, cherry, or peach works great. (In the video we use plum wood from a tree we cut down)
Those look delicious. Definitely doing this. Anyone else have urge to tighten the nuts on that handle? 😂🇨🇦
Fixed the handle earlier this month. One was stripped but we got it all straightened out now. Thanks for watching.
Those nuts probably have been tightened a time or two lol. Well use king Weber grill
That’s what was bothering you? I wanted to put a little piece of cardboard under their wobbly table at the beginning 😂
Thanks for the knowledge Y'all! I'm gonna try this right now. God bless 🙏
You're very welcome. Really appreciate you watching! Let us know how they turn out! We love feedback.
What kind of wood ya’ll were using
I believe in this video it was plum but any fruit wood will do. Apple, cherry, peach all give a lighter smoke profile
Hello! Good video! is it olive oil you add ?
Yes olive oil. It acts as a binder and helps coat the meat evenly. Also helps with the color as well. Thanks for watching 🔥🔥
Can I use a sunflower oil? Or effect will be worse?
Shouldn’t effect it much. Should be just fine.
ok,Thank you for your answers and thanks for your channel!
Chicken takes forever on the grill
But it’s sooooo worth it 😎
Which guy is talking in the video 🤔
