Important note: Yes, ALCHEMY literally just uploaded a video to this song with a VERY similar ending. No, I did not copy it, I've been working on this edit for over a week, and seeing their video heavily dabated with myself over whether I should or should not upload mine now! I decided I would, maybe there are Good Omens fans out there who really enjoy this song and don't mind having "two cakes", so to say.
That being said, go watch ALCHEMY's video if you haven't yet because it's brilliant and their editing is so much better than mine could ever be!

Sometimes he forgets for a second that there's a person who is just Crowley underneath the whole Angel/Demon dichotomy 😭 but I'm very positive season 3 will deliver on a much needed epiphany there ♥ thank you for the comment!!

It’s amazing how many scenes mirror each other, and yet they each feel unique
6000 years of longing.... and I thought I was a masochist. I joke because I can't keep crying all the time.
I love their relationship! Aziraphale provides emotional support, trust, and a positive outlook. Crowley protects Aziraphale from physical danger and brings excitement into Aziraphale's life. They definitely need help communicating, but I'm hoping it will all work out for them next season.

The way you show Crowley start to say what he's really thinking but then he can't speak...fade to black...so beautiful!
The fact that it was always Aziraphale who was the one to reach out to touch until that kiss 😫

Also the “you told my only friend” scene is my favorite, wonderful performance from David, and the music went so well with it

Just wanted to add that I’ve seen Alchemy’s video and I think you’ve done a lot of really wonderful and unique things here and I thoroughly enjoyed it. You have a lot of talent and I hope other people appreciate it, I’m sure this took a lot of time and effort and it’s such a beautiful edit!!

I love this! Please don't delete it, I think it's understandable that people are naturally going to have similar editing ideas when there's only so many scenes to work with. This is one of my absolute favourite fanvids for these two.

This video is BEYOND WORDS it made me feel so many wonderful and painful things, hurricane is one of the most epic and powerful songs to edit to and you wove it into Aziraphale and Crowley’s story so beautifully. There are so many things I loved about this, the pacing, the cuts, you connected each clip so beautifully and with the perfect audio over the video from different scenes !!! I’m going feral over how you put together those 3 little clips of Aziraphale reaching out to Crowley at the birthing hospital/the pub/the bookshop gave me CHILLS I tell you. I also loved the clinking glasses, so satisfying. And the NEBULA exploding right on the beat PURE CINEMA. And then at the end the clips kept getting faster and cutting back and forth from the kiss to their relationship throughout the ages this is sO beautiful thank you sO much for this
Bro- this is the best one yet, and I'm so late for it. I LOVE how you portrayed the scenes mirroring each other! It gives a completly new look and shows the actual lingering and touching vibe of the story. Love it. My fave.

Holy shit this is so good, I’m usually not a big fan of ones where the song is the background to dialogue the whole time but the choices you made in arranging clips and dialogue has me loving this
I absolutely agree with you! I usually do my best to cut the dialogue around the song so the lyrics don't interfere, but somehow this one went in a different direction 😅 I'm so happy to hear that you liked it anyway!! :D thank you! ♥

I think your video is certainly unique, it’s a great song to edit to but your version is so well crafted, it’s definitely my favorite. I don't try to watch every GO vid that comes along but do watch those that pop up on YT when I'm browsing. I don't know Alchemy or you nor am I familiar with this song. I followed your link to watch Alchemy's vid, then came back here to comment. I think your video is comparatively stronger and more insightfully edited for emotional impact and cohesiveness.
Yours has a rhythm to it that flows and builds with the song. You know what to put in and (as importantly if not more so) you know what to leave out. Alchemy's was good (despite a typo I noticed) but there was a certain predictability to the edits that didn't create the same flow and build and I didn't feel the same level of emotion rising to the heartbreaking end.
I'm not an expert on video creation and editing. I've only ever made one vid and that was twenty years ago in another fandom. Creating them is so difficult and challenging, I commend both you and Alchemy for your good work.
I hope you keep your video here because it's well worth viewing. One of the better ones I've seen.

@@freowyn6415 you’re not the first one to do it. I came across another channel that literally downloaded Alchemy’s edit and just put another song over it. I’m not saying you copied Alchemy’s entire edit, just that transition.
@@rek1370 I did not copy the transition. I had been working on this edit for over a week when alchemy uploaded their video, and the ending sequence was one of the first things I cut. Believe what you will I guess but I think it's a little bit unfair of you to assume that two creative people can't have similar ideas. I knew comments like yours would pop up, that's why I wrote the description the way I did and linked to alchemy's video. I'm not interested in stealing ideas. I'm interested in this story and having a creative outlet for my thoughts and emotions about it. I was extremely proud of this part of the video when I worked on it, I only wish I'd finished and uploaded it one day sooner to save myself from negative assumptions like yours. I Hope you enjoyed both videos. That said, I will not reply to you again.
