One of the CUTEST MOMENTS ever is when Crowley said, in the beginning of the universe, to his creation "you look gorgeous" AND AZIRAPHALE LOOKS TO CROWLEY HOPING HE SAID IT TO HIM!!! It also proves that Aziraphale developed feelings first, which makes the season 2 ending WAY more tragic
i personally think aziraphale fell in love with angel crowley first and then had to re-fall in love with demon crowley because of the way demons have been explained to him. he had to alter his entire point of view about a whole group of people to even begin falling in love with crowley again. and by the end of s2 he’d barely gotten started, which is why he wasn’t ready to run away with crowley. i also love that moment though it’s so cute 🥹
Maggie had a crush on Nina, but she needed months to be brave enough to present herself, so I think the same happened to Aziraphale. By the way, in S2 we realised that Crowley was the first one who covered Aziraphale with his wings, so, why not the first kiss was Aziraphale to Crowley? Perhaps in 1941 with the nightingale song?
I think also the scene where Crowley didn't say "smitten" correctly. Some people said it was a blooper, but they kept it because it was the best shoot.
