What we need to be educated on is how your boss should speak to you. We need more employee empowerment especially in the face of horrible bosses who think that they can bully, belittle and berate their way to the top and take all of the credit.
I hate my boss. I have asked the Universe authorities, the Ancestors, God, and Satan, to remove him!!! I am willing to give up chocolate for his exit. I hope he finds another job before 4/20 or die...I'm good with either. 😅
Come on bro no one gives advice. They offer factual experience and factual information for the masses to put what resonates with them into practice if it makes sense to better your own personal or professional lives. You're not serious right?
I usually read the comments to prepare myself for the Talk ( or to exit) I actually think this is a really really good talk, and not what most of the comment section imply. I guess the majority have already learned what I did not know :)
Bro WE ALL NEED TO BE TAUGHT THIS BEFORE GETTING JOBS WHAT THE ACTUAL MOTHER NATURE! I am literally having goosebumps all over my body while listening to this guy say all those jewerly words.
Oh I misread the title as "How to take down your boss". I watched the whole video, eager to gain that knowledge, and then noticed that I was wrong lol Well, it was fun anyways lol
Great presentation. Loved the way Peter told his stories and shared a wealth of experience on how communication is so key not only what is being said but also how its delivered.
I’ve had to do the same thing when meeting a new eager professional (regardless of age) for the 1st time. Slow down! Let’s find some commonalities before we dive into the good stuff.
Lol! Ok, I'll be 60 soon, I can dance through all of office from outlook folders that mail files itself based on sender and which email it came through to creating access databank, charts & graphs in PowerPoint of course word and interlocking spreadsheets that feed into another spreadsheet in excel. I still have the newest of all offices that I subscribe to on my note 9 phone, my tablet, (surface Pro) and laptop. Lol I started with DOS, first windows I saw was 3.1. So don't count out every older person using technology. Many of us got in on it when computers were the size of a room!
Sadly many never kept up is the main issue. Its not that they can't, it's that they've become to proud, bored, or sometimes just indignant in needing to learn a new skill.
@@wishfull3nigma Actually, among ones my age those people are actually more fearful literally afraid they can't learn, then they have that prideful anger. Now contrary to that , a friends mom, never got technology, she's 90 sharp as a tacklearning so fast it blows me away! Her comment was that I'm patient lol. She's really fun to teach cause she's like a sponge full of curiosity!

A MF--I too have been in the workforce over 40 years, and have been imagining the 'rude awakening' quickly heading his way. It's going to be earth-shatteringly unexpected, humbling, and painful. By the same token, it will be a much needed lesson.. Sometimes being publicly taken down a notch is worth more than a decade of work experience.
