The bit with Zero's two themes in the beginning was a nice touch. Never understood why they made it all jazzy in the PS1 version when the SNES rock version absolutely slaps.
One of the bigger flaws of MMX3 sadly Zero’s playability is super limited, not just because you can’t use him for bosses, or you can only use him once per level, or because he’s just slower and bigger than X. But because he has just one life.
@@aph613 I have played all parts of X, but I don’t know the better part of the second. This is the coolest Megaman, there is no need to change anything. There are great soundtracks. I disagree with you.
As opposed of other musicians, MET did not changed the original soundtrack feeling, and even improved that, deepening every feeling you may experience during gameplay! This is a pretty nice job!
Yup, I’ve NEVER heard covers that got the nuances of the originals - phrasing quirks, staccato vs legato, chorus/wah effects, etc correct except for these. Really superb.
I'm truly impressed by Volt Catfish' theme. The backing guitar adds an awesome complexity to the rythm I never heard form the original tune. New favourite, but still behind Gravity Beetle. Still my fav from this game. Keep these coming!

3:09 Outstanding metal arrangement of the best X into stage theme. However, I hate to say that as a hardcore chiptune nerd the layered, heavy, multitracked guitar riff during the bridge doesn’t roll in like thunder as with the SPC arrangement, the impact is minimized. That is totally essential to the original composition.
i wish you could fight Blast Hornet as Zero seeing as in the manual it says he was Zero's second in command of his team. There could've been some cool dialogue or remorse from Zero for sending BH into Doppler's fortress in his place.
Blast Hornet and Magma Dragoon were Zero’s highest ranking adjutants in Shinobi Team (his team’s name). And he has regrets about what happened to them both according to lore in later games.
1:07:48 Oh right, my Super Mode! ...Wrong series...wrong character as well, but it fits. (Mark Gatha, voice of X, also voiced Domon Kasshu in G Gundam.)
@@buccaneerguy8197 I've beaten the whole game, on hard mode, with just unarmored X. It's not quite as difficult as people will lead you to believe, except for MSP and Blaze Heatnix's levels, though MSP is more due to terrible Nightmare placement right before the miniboss (on hard mode only)
I just LOVE the way that He did the soundtrack remake, I realised this when he didn't add a new baseline in the vile theme. I swear, this whole guitar remake isn't a remake, it's got the simple music style we all love. There is no remaking or solo's in this. It just speaks so well.
I feel like Megaman soundtracks in general are rock and roll intensive. So yeah maybe it was what the composers intended when they were working on them.
