This is Hands Down the best performance video of the F-14 i have seen. Blew me away. Totally changed my mind about getting one.
Rich Baker is surgical with that Tomcat. Great flight, thanks for sharing.
instablaster.
Whatever is holding those wings on is doing a great job!
Fantastic buttery landing !!
Hey man that’s a sharp plane!
Cool flights!
Awesome plane and flying Rich. There is one in our club really enjoy when it's flying. Little to fast for this Old Man. I'll stay with big and slow. ✈️😀💝
What a Beautiful Beast !!!!
But visible wing flex
Love 💗 this! I need one! #stayepic
Very good pilot.
Awesome flights Rich, think I’m gonna have to get this one, thanks James and Motion RC, great work guys!!💥👍🏼
It's one 700$ I'll spend..
custa 700 dólares americanos???
Rich I wonder which Transmitter are u using I can see 👀 is it Spektrum 🤷🏻♂️❓and which Receiver are u using in this video ? I’m new into this RC World I just got a F-14 just like yours , before I Flew for 1 year and a half with that Volantex RTF Mini F-22 Raptor now I’m upgrading myself ☺️😊
Hey, Rich! Great vid! Any chance you can make a vid on exactly how you program the transmitter with all the mixing and thro rates for the Tomcat?
Head to his channel, he has numerous videos on the f14. And he would be more apt to see your comment
The tomcat is still my favorite freewing bird! I’ve said it before, but the airplane really does fly great stock. I couldn’t help it though the scale purist in me had customize the controls to be more scale. 😂 #scalemodelOCD
It would be nice to a updated v2 version of the F14
I couldn’t agree more! Had to do the same!
Awesome!
EXCELLENT Guys .... Rich put me down for the reinforcement plates ! I am Totally " in "
Amazing
Rich is a GD genius, great video motion. How bout version 2 of this place to fix the landing gear and brace issues
They need to start with 90mm edfs. Really should look at increasing the ESC to 130 amp.
Rich, "I trim at FULL throttle!"
Yeah. Makes all of us look like a joke.. ha .. no not to much hotdogging.. just simple.. stuff.. !
AIR BOSS!
Are we sure that Rich Baker is not actually sitting inside that little Tomcat cockpit?
Im looking to getting into the hobby soon. Are we required to register the aircraft? I saw this on a site via Google.
How much up elevator with full flaps ? Thank you
You are the best
You will want to check out RC Informers youtube channel and ask him through his videos. Not sure how he has his set up.
LOL Rich can fly!!!!!!
Over 9 minutes flight time? Wow!
This is ultimately the plane I'd like to fly but I have zero experience with any of this. Any good recommendations for a beginner? The Freewing Pandora 4 in 1 seems like a good start but again, I don't know anything about any of this.
You should start with an RTF aircraft. RTF means "ready-to-fly" so it will include a basic transmitter, battery, charger etc. Everything needed to fly it. If you like the hobby thereafter and wish to continue you then graduate to PNP models "Plug and Play" which don't include a transmitter or battery as they assume by this time you own your own transmitter which can carry 100's of models and be used for all your aircraft. Start with an RTF airplane
@@MotionRC Alright, will do. Any specific model(s) you recommend starting off with?
Where can you buy the wing plates?
When do you think those plates will be available
Just have to get a few things finalize before releasing.
Hello 👋! Is there any upgrades I can add to the looks and flying of my New Razorback I bought last month? I’ve not had it up yet but when I do BIRDS 🦅 BEWARE!! Lol 😆
Can u post your settings please on the transmitter.. It would help thank u
Esta genial!!!
I need this
I watched your video about the wing plates ....how can I get one of those?
Head over to RC informers videos and leave a comment. He designed it
Rich and I will be offering them very soon, just have to finalize some things.
@@RavenRockMachine awesome can't wait
I'm interested in whatever Rich has that is telling him the milliamps used so far on his flight batteries.
@@RCINFORMER Maybe they should! They might sell a bzillion of them to all of us electric flyers
How can I order those plates? I also fly off grass
Rich and I will be offering them very soon, just have to finalize some things.
Hi, do we need gyro on this plane? Thx
no plane "needs" a gyro. Gyro can assist any plane to fly a little more stable say on a windier day. But flying with or without a gyro is a personal preference more than a necessity
Motion RC oh yes. Nice. Also I have watched you other video freewing F35 but with gyro on it? By my know some planes does really need gyro for the better fly. I want to make sure before I purchased these two planes. Thx
Why do all these RC Tomcat pilots only seem to use Wingsweep as a gimmick.. instead going balls out all the time with the wings in the slow speed ( full out) config.. as an old Navy guy just is very strange to see Tomcats going full speed with wings fully extended..
@@RCINFORMER I'm well aware of the real Tomcats flight envelope as I worked on them for 10 years and actually you are wrong the wings normal operation are on a computer that swing them depending ONLY on speed of the aircraft. ( there is also a partial sweep attached to bomb mode on the B and D models as well as a OVERRIDE that lets the pilot do whatever he wants.. However that was almost never used unless there was a problem with the computer., It has nothing at all to do with altitude. The wings actually start sweeping in real life just over 300kts and will VARY in sweep. You will hardly ever see a Cat with extended wings unless they are in a low speed TURNING fight. all of your passes in RC scale were "high speed" which again is why I ask why even bother with a Tomcat if you dont fly it with the wings swept for scale? And this isnt just you its pretty much every video out there which is why I asked does the flight characteristics in RC not perform well as everyone flies this bird with the wings OUT.
@@RCINFORMER Which is why I asked you the question... if the model doesn't fly well with wings swept at this scale then thats a HUGE negative and would be a "do not buy" situation for me...
@@RCINFORMER Also of note I'm normally a RC Heli guy.. flew for SAB North America for years as a Rep.. I'm asking questions from you as you are the expert.. With the advent of these new incredible ducted fan models we didnt have just 6 years ago I'm looking to get into fixed wing.. which is why I was asking about these flight characteristics.
Is he an auctioneer? Nice flite yo..! awesome plane.. landing Waz poop.. ... Not !! Damm Ok I suck OMG?!🌼🖖
I like that look with the wings back...
Need to fix those lights on the tail , so annoying ,, first mod to do on mine
