It was year 2003 & our class had 135 students. Imagine the crowd in a room. There were neither extra rooms nor teachers, sometimes we used sit under trees & my village isn't in remote area. No complaints by students or parents. Now situation has been changed it's 60 students per class.

I have many Israeli friends here.
I would like to include one point.
Israelis are very eager to help their country Wherever they are. Most of the Israelis return to Israel to teach in Universities of Israel (Univ of Tel Aviv,Ariel Univ etc) instead of teaching Western Universities.
Even they won't want to return to country blessed with cast based reservation everywhere, political hooliganism is prevalent
Or capitation fees (donations to get admission in medical or engineering colleges).

We need to get our basics right, what we are doing is just copying foreign concepts without analysing it's basic purpose, we in general lack the critical thinking and reasoning skills. We eventually forget the fact that western culture is so different( history, geography, socioeconomic... everything differ a lot) than ours so what could work better for them might not work in india. Best way to get out of this mud is to identify the problem, analysed it and try to fix it by own.

I think we should first need to prove ourselves, the students need to be independent so that they can achieve their goals, because in Bharat mostly students depend on the education system. For eg: students in Bharat first do their schooling for 12 years and after that they prepare for admissions in college rather than focusing on their goals (because schooling edu. is not sufficient to achieve the goals), after that they prepare for gov. exams (if they failed to grab package in campus placement).
So first we need to remove this dependency on education system

There are few additional point that comes to mind after you mentioned that information security. So when you have to join the military after you're 18 it varies a little, where they pick the most talented students there are and separately expose them to the latest cutting edge tech available and get them to play with it and work with it. Hence many of the hi tech startups or best information security related startups coming from Israel are usually started by people who worked in that dept for couple of years and had time to work with the latest tech.

all solutions to the problems can't be found in the past .Gurukul system is bullshit in present times.It was made to train warriors for battle. We need to impliment complete digital education and award degrees by online examination.Companies must recognise those online degrees .
Gurukula system not only teach for warriors. You are too uneducated about that. Because in 12 years gurukula they teach all aspects, Vedasn Upanishads are not just mantras for god to pray. They teach Geometry, Maths, Biology, psychology and many other.

I think for India the first thing we need is not the infrastructure, not the system change but change in teachers....In my entire life there was not one teacher who actually impacted my life, even now in college some teachers are so incredibly annoying, telling us to write hw and lab manual and shit as if we are in grade 3....and ofcourse we have all seen the videos of govt school teachers being super dumb, not even being able to spell normal English words and what's there salary- 40k !! There won't be any unless we kick out those kinda teachers and employ someone who actually know how to hold student's attention.

I am in Ireland and work in IT. I had an Israeli colleague, he told me the army training and serving period was toughest days he had, he told me its mandatory to serve atleast 3 yrs of your youth to the country. He told me he will never go back to Israel.

In my country, clearing the UPSC Civil Services Exam is a lifetime achievement. Irrational MCQ based exams can make or break one's future. We are still dependent on MCQs to earn a good livelihood. Equating with Israel's education system is a far cry.

South asian countries are the example to whole world for , what not to do . 😂 We are just next to African countries, south east Asia, east Asia all have went ahead of us.
Remember if you have teachers who have got their job by RESERVATION then quality also will be in the same. What would I suggest is, teachers should get top salaries and their selection also should be competitive not through reservation. Then only govt schools will improve.
competition is sole reason for losssing skills, A student can be a great Animator, or coder but he has to loose everything just to Learn physics, chemistry and mathematics for competitive exams, Which you eventually get to study in college.

Israel revived the dead language hebrew through their education. and we made sanskrit a dead language. But okay english is a unifying language now, make it sanskritised
India is not Israel. It is much more diverse than Israel. How will you convince states with Dravidian languages to adopt sankrit ?
@@kaavi1391 At that time, this thing wasnt that prevelant moreover sanskrit was present everywhere unlike hindi, so it could have been done. Plus read my second point in the comment, i said sanskrit is not possible now but sanskritisation of english is possible. Also we should add some new words of local languages in english, so we should also localuse english
@CEO of Secularism sankrit didn't came from tamil. Sankrit and Tamil are from two completely different language families . Sankrit is an indo European language while tamil is a Dravidian language.
