They know death awaits for them yet not afraid of vehemently protesting & fulfilling their demands in the harshest of conditions. We 🇮🇳 cowards should bow down to them. Our Gen Zs run away from country, while theirs are the first to sacrifice their lives fighting against extreme cruelty from government & state machinery in hope of writing a new chapter of their beloved nation whose soil contains the sacrifice of lakhs.

I am a JEE aspirant from a lower-middle-class family. If people like us are considering studying abroad, then there is something seriously wrong. In one shift of JEE Mains, scoring 240 gets you a 99 percentile, while in another paper of the same difficulty, 150 gets you the same percentile. What are students supposed to do, pray for luck? There are paper leaks, and the government doesn't seem to care. We only have 17,000 seats in IITs. Exam preparation has become very accessible to everyone, hence the competition has skyrocketed but we can only accommodate around 1-2% of students. If you're not in the top 1-2%, you'll have no options in Indian colleges. leave engineers in medical we can only accommodate 25-30k students out of 25 lakh aspirants.
before a day or two our education minister was taking pride in saying our students are going abroad and our diaspora is increasing.
I don't understand how we are going top become "VISVA GURU", we have millionaires, billionaires leaving India, good students (future millionaires) leaving India how are we going to become 5 trillion economy

I am an Indian living in Finland and I can tell you I love India to its core but a big But I will never move back to India. There are multiple reasons to that and Politics is the biggest reason, Party in the government do religion politics, party in opposition do caste politics and party who came into effect just because of its anti corruption is under corruption scandals now. Plus the taxes in India are comparable to Finland but lifestyle and infrastructure is only comparable to Africa despite government having money to make changes they are not doing that. And I hope I will be proved wrong by the growth of India cuz tbh I am not seeing that happening, we might cross US in GDP by 2050 but we still won't be a high income country and that's what scares me. I am not a super smart person, I am an ordinary person who wants to live ordinary life but to live like that in India is pretty difficult. So, Its better to live outside India. And I hope I never have to return back.

The biggest blessing and curse for Indians is our vast population. Additionally, people often focus on just one or two sectors. As a history MA graduate, I was surprised to learn that only six students in my college had chosen history as their major subject. Despite this, I was fortunate enough to land a job at a research firm in Finland, where I now work as an underwater archaeologist and Historical archaeologist . It's been three years since I completed my master's degree, and I'm proud to say that I got the job through my hard work and dedication, without any connections or competition. However, some of my friends who hold postgraduate degrees in BTech and BSc are still struggling to find employment. Meanwhile, I work remotely from India for the Finland-based research firm. Unfortunately, Indian institutions still lack advanced technology for historical research, forcing me to rely on foreign tools to complete my research papers.i wish India grow more .

Also people don't realise how much inequality exists and what's the bottom line for most households there. True ... Indians just know to push the narrative that IIT's are the best but fail to see that how little seats they offer of which the majority of the branches have no value anymore and how the best IIT's ranks around 150 and worse among the global scale ... they just argue that the west don't like Indian institutions dominating and thus the bad rankings but fail to recognise that international companies will hire based on international standard and also fail to see how China ( greatest enemy of the west ) has universities fighting neck to neck with the ivy league universities of the world whereas IIT's don't ..... if someone's reading my rant, I just want to make you understand that the prestigious western institutions are losing it's value, thus ours won't stand a chance ... you still have a chance, don't waste time preparing yourselves for these worthless government institution ( not stopping if that's your only option ), but build yourself from ground up and focus 100 percent on your skills because skills are the future!! Agreed with all points except the one on long term prospects. It requires a nuanced discussion. While India is expected to see growth, there are certain professions that I don't see growing at a favorable pace for the current and next generation to benefit of. Some of these include research (in most fields), acting/media, music, fashion, teaching, sports, etc. Also, tier 1 cities will almost reach an unlivable state because of reasons like high population, pollution, and traffic. It is also a lot harder to redesign and reimplement the infrastructure in such cities considering how many people live there. I think India's future largely depends on how well we correct our mistakes in developing tier 2 and 3 cities. Besides there are many other reasons for permanently settling abroad too like experiencing diversity and interacting with people with better civic sense.

I am watching this video from Canada and I have to tell you that the actual ground reality is completely different than what the consultant or the internet would tell you. The inflation is out of control, housing prices are high, the healthcare system is horrible and there is a huge problem of drugs here. Last year Canada added almost a million people through its various immigration programs and how many houses were constructed? Around 200,000. Where will all of these immigrants live? No doubt the housing prices are skyrocketing. It just becomes unaffordable. The internet prices are high because there are only 3-4 major companies who control the entire market. Now talking about healthcare. It’s a blessing if you don’t fall sick. But life is unpredictable. Once my friend was having an asthma attack and she had to sit in the emergency room for more than 8 hours. I’m not talking about any treatment. She was just made to sit there. What if something happened that day to her? Who would take the responsibility? There is something called family doctor here where if something happens you have to go to that doctor. People are waiting 2-3 years just to get a family doctor !!! There are walk-in clinics here but for that also getting the appointment is difficult. India has more than double the population of Canada and still the healthcare system there is a thousand times better than here. Respect to all the doctors in India 🫡. Shifting focus to drugs for but here. I know people watching this video would probably not do any drugs. But drugs is a major problem here. Specially in British Columbia as it is legal. And the homeless people do some crazy stuff when they are on drugs. Once a homeless man pushed me and just walked away and I couldn’t do anything. Because if I do, I would be arrested due to some weird human rights violation law. How does this make any sense. Should I not defend myself? I do not feel safe while walking in downtown during the night. And the worst part is that a portion of the tax that we pay from our hard earned money goes to these homeless people. And what do they do with that money? They buy drugs.
If you are earning 2000 Canadian dollars, do not think that you are earning INR 120,000 and be happy. Because your expenses would be around INR 100,000. So I would suggest that if you are well settled in India, have a decent paying job, and the most important thing…family, would not recommend you to come to Canada. The advertisement about Canada is very different from the actual ground reality here.

There are only selected career options in India to survive in cities like Mumbai or Bangalore. Even in engineering, only CSE and ECE are the only branches that get proper placements to settle in tier-1 cities. Other branches like Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Biotechnology, and Chemical engineering don't get many job opportunities in India, they've to settle for government jobs or work in mass recruiters for some 3-6lpa jobs. This is the harsh reality of India. If India at least starts giving jobs to core branches in their domain, it would also help the economy and also decrease the competition in IT and software jobs.

I'm a Mechanical engineer and I studied and worked in europe for 12 years and came back to India to start my own company. I'm from the SC reserved category. Don't be a job seeker, become a job provider. I also support charity organisations in remote tribal areas.

well, yeah it is sad but true, but compare the Nature of work of both.
A good civil or machenical Engineer will need experiemce to be able to produce good result.
CSE is a young mans field.....in cooding you dont have to deal with manufacturing Physical stuff most of the time.....hence it pays good very early.

@@manfromdownunder8407 but when companies start hiring (core field) it would be a motivation for people of so called "lower branches" and India's talent also will reside in India and would reach higher standards but these branches even in top colleges (state colleges) are usually just for showcase, very few people go forward with this branch.

@@Unknownguy0205 well in my experience, in core field you will get a job, but in some Industrial Area, or construction where people would not like to go, and people generally shift to IT after seeing all the comforts (AC office) and better salaries of IT.
in core, even if you earn decent, it will always feel low and bad in front of office desk jobs in AC.

I think you are wrong, students should not stay in India if they have the opportunity to leave. The main point you missed is what would the students do after they decide to stay in India?
Study in Amity, LPU and make 15000 a month?
I have lived in Australia for over 5 years now and not once have a faced racism. I came from a middle class background and just in 3 years of working, I already considered myself settled. I do a good job in IT and am getting a house constructed. If i was in India, best case scenario, I would be making 50-60k living in Delhi and saving 2 lakhs per year. I save more in 3 weeks here

    Answer is short and simple
People visit abroad to settle because of better pay, better quality of life and status
They even gave racism and many other issues. But still it is better to deal with those issues rather than staying in India and struggle with less pay and worst quality of life 3:52

The living expenses are high which means a graduate needs to be employed after graduating . But overall work it clean air , great work culture , good roads and connectivity, less corruption , no political strikes, freedom of speech, strict laws, My personal experience for nz is really good so if your planing to study in any other countries choose accordingly 👍

I still have some hope. Country will not fix itself. Somebody has to get their hands dirty. But nobody wants to be that somebody. Even if anybody wants to be they have no clue what to do, where to start.
The main fault is that we don't reward people with hardwork and merit. We tax them. We keep them out of Govt schemes and benefits.

Nothing wrong with this; Its good for the Students, the US, and India (we have plenty of Human resources to export).

Haalat aisi hai ki idhar kua hai toh udhar khai. Pehchan k chote se kuye mai rehna hi behtar hoga kisi anjaan khai mai kudne se. Yes, it's ideal to leave comfort zone and explore the unknown but life can't be lead w ideals. Practically speaking, we as students need to develop skills and try to have multiple income sources, foreign pays well ofc but also the expenses are hefty. As part of the very first batch that'd gradute from NEP i must say, changes are coming, slow but good changes.
