The "rise" would be from the croch seam to the top of the pants or hips. Low rise would have less length than high rise between the croch seam and the pant band. The length of the rise will determine where your pants sit on your hips. Mid rise is around the belly button, low is below and high is above. Usually pants state the rise in that way and not in a measurement. Not sure if that helps as I'm having measurement issues as well lol

The inseam is the inside leg from top of crutch to hem (where the jeans end) to get the full length of the jeans you'd measure the top of waist, side seam to hem.

I’d have to see you or a pic of you to guess right but maybe go in one and let them fit you (and if u can’t afford it just don’t buy the jeans from there)

You can then measure it and it may be 30in. If that's what you want, you can try it out. Otherwise, you're going to be measure a shit ton of clothes. So, you're not too smart.

that's why you measure! it's not hard to bring a tape measure they're small and light and fit in a purse easy.
