You can see improvement in each recording and by the time she finished Rolling in the Deep she was fully comfortable in her element. You have to love seeing her first Jump and silent cheer which showed her excitement after delivering that first chorus. She kept that enthusiasm through the rest of her performances. The beautifully clear performance of Rolling in the Deep reflect that. This was when her journey in her recording career started! IMO Hope I got the sequence right. I think I did. Enjoy! ♥👣

This interpretation of her is simply exceptional, for the ability she had to re-read such an iconic song in a more intimate key and for the intensity of her interpretation, at only 13 years old! This is a splendid example of Angelina's splendid and unique work, with her one is so fascinated by her voice, breath control and splendid technique, that one does not adequately appreciate her amazing intelligence and musical sense, through which she absorbs and transforms in her interpretations, the great songs she loves so much. It's as if she were a glass craftsman, that take an object, heat it and reshape it, keeping the material intact, but giving it a new shape and a new color. For me this is perhaps the aspect more surprising, she has recomposed songs by superlative authors, replicated for decades and has given us new wonders every time, always making us move. 💛 🧡 ❤️

We didn't know what she was going to sing and when she did this, we could not have been more satisfied and proud. Yeh I heard her say in an interview once she chose to wear it because she felt it had a Bohemian feel (unconventional, colourful, retro) and then the yellow suit because of the Yellow Brick road. Doesn’t mean what you said isn’t true but yes i definitely remember she felt it had the Bohemian feel.

Excellent reaction ! Keep it up she has somewhere north of 140 covers and originals easily viewed on the internet. Her covers go back to the 1930's and include 60+ covers of some of the greatest vocalists during that time.
Angelina owned this competition with 3 amazing performances that actually carried the season. The only plausible explaination of her not winning (40 or so tumblers from India won to give you an idea of the magnitude of the AGT hoax), was the predetermined reality that Simon would not be signing her to contract. In the end, everyone won, AGT got three master quality performances and Angelina was introduced to the Americas and shortly after was signed by Republic Records.

Yes its available to streaming platforms (without the audience noise). Angelina rerecorded/released it under own label when AGT was not promoting her around the same time the AGT video was released. She performed 3 times on AGT. She would not pre sign with Simon to appear if she was selected so she did not win the final (which these shows reserve the right not to go by audience selection). There is also a version I hope gets released that she did last Christmas as well, but it was pay to view concert so it's not available publicly as of yet, the rest of the concert was Christmas songs.

A remarkable feature of this performance is by starting a cappella Angelina (at the seasoned age of 13yo) basically grabbed the entire hall by the throat, forcing their attention and quiet, and in effect, transforming a 2500 person auditorium into an intimate coffee house setting! Among her many other talents, one must also say, Angelina is fearless.

There is no other version of Bohemian Rhapsody by Angelina although this one was recorded on Spotify as Queen gave her the copyrights for it! It would be difficult for single person to do all of Bohemian Rhapsody as that song involves many vocalists and harmonies in different parts of the song. Angelina did get the golden buzzer from Heidi and that is shown in a second video on UA-cam. The artist playing in the background singing over the Rainbow was Eva Cassidy. You should check her out as well. She was a jazz, blues, and pop classic singer from the 80s and early 90s. She tragically passed away in 1996 at the age of 33 from cancer. She has become legendary with her crisp vocals and masterful guitar skills. Her version of Somewhere over the Rainbow is considered one of the best ever recorded.

Great reaction guys! This was my first time ever of hearing of Angelina Jordan and I have been a fan ever since. The more you listen to her music, the more you realize this young lady going to be huge in the music industry and gong to make her mark in history. The remaining members of Queen Tweeted how much they liked this rendition and gave Angelina permission to release it, which she did on her own label. It is available on all the usual outlets. The video you reacted to was cut off by AGT for some reason. She did indeed get the Golden Buzzer, which sent her to the finals, where she performed The Yellow Brick Road. By the way, she auditioned for Norway's Got Talent at age 7 but won it at age 8, despite what Angie says. Also, no singer won the competition. It was recorded in the fall, when Angie was 13, but aired the following winter when she was 14. Since it was pre-recorded, it was not live so the real audience never got a chance to vote. According to AGT the voting was done by 2 judges from each state, so 100 of folks pre-selected by AGT. I am not sure I believe them. The winning artist would get a contract with Simon and a week performing in Las Vegas. Since Angelina's manager-uncle had negotiated a no-contract with AGT, she was never going to win anyway. It did not matter, since Angelina only performed there to introduce herself to the American public, which she did. As Simon said, later on in the competition, her presence there raised the bar. Some acrobatic group actually won, better for Las Vegas anyway.

Great reaction you are the first to realize that Angelina does all her own arrangements. Just shortly after this performance on AGT Angelina signed with Republic records with a caveat that she only records when school is not in session. Her parents are adamant that she has a solid education and a normal a life as possible. Angelina has only performed when school was not in session.
FYI, I am a Ballroom Dancer and Simon is a Pussycat compared to some of my Dance coaches. I guess you have to be a performing arts to understand that. Simon does not suffer fools gladly but he also is a talent scout for his own agency. So he does give artists a second chance if he thinks they deserve it.

Thanks for reviewing my recommendation of A.J's cover of Bohemian. It was a pleasant surprise seeing this video up. Give one of her Originals a listen next, she got signed a year after AGT at age 14 and her original is"Million Miles" from Republic Records. Not only did she wright this song at 14, but it was in memory of her Grandfather who had just passed. it will just melt your heart.

This rendition is all Angelina. She totally rearranged this song, it short, but she only had about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 minute to audition. She does also, has over 160 covers and 5 or 6 originals. She’s currently working with her label (Republic Records) on a new Album sometime this year, probably before she leave for her tour in Norway the 7th and 10th.
Angelina is the master chameleon. She becomes the person she is covering in her versions of the songs.
Her covers of blues singers from years ago show this. She becomes Etta James.
Her arrangements are masterful but at least a few are reworks of little known versions. Her rhapsody version is one that was performed by another talented singer.
Keep in mind that this in no way diminishes her vocal ability or the fact that she is so talented at arranging the music and performing it!!!

Her outfit is literally the story of her life as painted by her artist grandmother Mery Zemani. The remaining members of Queen saw this performance and remarked "Wow, what a rendition!". They also gave her the copyrights to this version. And yes, Heidi Klum did give her the golden buzzer. Simon had known exactly who Angelina was since she was 7, and had tried to get her on AGT for years. She, and her Uncle/manager had refused due to the contract with freemantle being so restrictive and controlling. Finally, they worked out a deal where she could appear on the show without signing a binding contract with Freemantle. The story is that she would be allowed to perform, but would not win. (I think her Uncle made a statement to that effect, or alluded to that in an interview, but I couldn't track that down ) At any rate, it still worked out for Angelina as she got the exposure to the American audience that she needed. And AGT got higher ratings.

The problem with AGT is you cannot win if you do not sign a Simon contract. She was not voted in later in the competition yet she won Norway's Got Talent with 46% of the vote.

I felt the same way when watching it live two years ago. What surprises me is how I find it just as captivating today even after listening to it so many times. For reasons that escape me Angelina did not win the competition. Hard to fathom considering how talented and captivating her vocals and performances. Another distinctive talent I find captivating is Aurora. Perhaps you both might soon do a reaction of Through The Eyes Of a Child (Live at Nidarosdomen). Another great reaction. Angelina designed the outfit she was wearing. The material was made from a print of one of her Grandmother's paintings. The painting can been seen in another of Angelina's video. Angelina joined AGT The Champions mainly for publicity. She relocated to LA and wanted to grow her USA audience. I would say it was a success. Her new movie soundtrack recording of "Mercy" from the Hating Games is quickly rising on my favorites list.

I don't think there's a full version of "Bohemian rhapsody" by Angelina" for 2 understandable reasons IMO: 1. The song is an opera that requires multiple voices & that's possible for a band like Queen even though it's Freddie Mercury's voice that is duplicated on the video. For Angelina, it would be pretty awkward if not embarrassing to do the theatrical operatic verses of the song. 2. Pretty hard to believe a young girl starting a song by "Mama, just killed a man, put a trigger to his head...", don't you think? And it was very clever of her to sing the 2nd verse and omit the first. I enjoyed the reaction very much. PLS keep up the good work. More A.J.

You and HalRay are a great combo for doing reactions. Thank you. There is an obscure video of Angelina casually working on the arrangement of this song a few months before this performance. To me, this song is so nearly perfect that the mind reels at the prospect that a single human arranged and performed it in such a way. Language fails me in my ability to describe it and so I will simply say, this is my all-time favorite vocal performance by anyone of any song. And the more I hear it, the more that I am convinced of it. Having written all of this, there is still a tremendous treasure trove of Angelina songs (160+) just waiting for you to open - like a present on Christmas morning.
This song was my introduction to Angelina Jordan who is my favorite vocal artist and imo will more than likely be one of the best ever. I love watching people hearing this for the first time, it’s so incredible. Hope you enjoy exploring all her wonderful songs.

This is from Uncle Mike's interview with Music Norway: America Got Talent had always been interested in bringing Angelina to the show, but with their normal contract, artists are being locked into a label, management, and other things for many years. Astar says that it didn’t matter if you get exposure or not, it was out of question to give away that right.

The people you saw in the audience are from right to left: Grandma Mery Zamany, the Blonde is her mom with little sister Juliette and than mom´s bother, AJ´s uncle Michael, he is also her manager and protects her well.
