instead of paracord, I am using shoelaces. Just cheap ones, the flat ones (not the round ones). Using exactly the same layout, plastic box, holes, etc BUT I put a small weight on the lace so it hangs and it goes back to its place when it's hit. (of course, the weights are "hidden" by a small piece of wood so you cannot hit them. For me, this works very well. Made also a few small(er) ones to give to friends and most of them are still in use.
I have tried making a number of different DIY traps. The plastic tub is the base for most, but finding the best backstop material that is durable has been difficult. Great design with the carpet and paracord. I’ll try your ideas for improvement.
I wish I saw the video week ago, I have just built bb catcher last weekend, it's similar but it could be way better if it was based on this design (the tentacles).
Could you not put a couple layers of cardboard in the bottom? Just so it absorbs some of the bb force. Or cardboard in front of the paracord to slow it down and see where the bb's are going
Hello! Taiwan gun are still not shipping to the uk at the moment (due to shipping companies making a mockery of post brexit importing) BUT when I did get them in (Gunfire is still shipping) Expect to pay between 20% and 30% of the total cost (with shipping) in fees on top. I found the best way to do it is to do it as a group order with a few friends, that way some of the costs like the shipping and the customs clearance fee can be split amongst you all which lowers the impact. Pheas
