Still trying to catch up! Still watching all videos in sequence! Love them! Your reduce, reuse, recycle way of life is so fantastic to see!….( am working on 8 quarts of strawberries for the freezer, so should be able to watch 5 or 6 videos today! Hurray!!)
Wow, how many strawberries will be eaten? It is not always easy or even possible to live on a boat sustainably, but we always try. Thanks for your comment
@@FloatingOurBoat we eat the ones fresh from our garden. These 8 quart I bought at a local produce auction and will be in my husband’s yogurt / granola breakfast during the winter months. Btw, I love seeing your roof top garden, am hoping to se more of that in during my viewing pleasures!
Lots of laughs as ever. Very entertaining! I think the ladybirds are a bit confused with all this late warm weather. They are looking for somewhere to settle for the winter. Bye for now, stay safe.
So I'm busy playing catch-up, I understand why it made sense to sell the holiday cottage but it looked a lovely location.you could tell that by then you had been practicing the Ariel shots . lovely video Thank you
Sorry to laugh out loud at the explanation of the bell ringing, but I had no choice, what with that sound and your caption. Immediately I thought; shades of Midsomer Murders. Someone was always being murdered who was a bell ringer in a quaint village hiding all sorts of secrets. I do love that program in all its iterations! And I love your vlog, every bit of it that I’ve watched so far. Over here in Portland, Oregon, I only found you Friday, today is Sunday. Sweet!
Thank you Lynette, so glad you are enjoying our videos. The canals and canal villages/ towns often have a feel of the past to them and a time left behind, much like Midsomer Murders.
The cottage is lovely but I can understand why you'd choose the boat over the house. Your videos of the places you visit and the countryside are so nice to watch, thanks x
Know it must be hard to leave such a lovely cottage in a pristine setting, but the two of you seem to enjoy life aboard the boat so much. Good luck and safe travels.
Goodness me , I thought I was the only person in the whole world that does that . Mind you , if you can look out you can look in :) I had a girlfriend once who thought because You can't see out of the window in a room with its light on then that meant people could not see in that same room .......
Hey guys absolutley loved this latest addition to the vid line up. That cottage is immense and cosy as per our discussion we may be booking....depending on numbers. That stretch was the stretch we first learnt to boat on this summer with our friends Mick and Melissa. Keep safe and keep buying gadgets rich 😁 see you on the cut in the future no doubt. Matt and jo 🤗
I am so jealous. Thank God for your good health. Yup are able to put up with your typical pains of getting older. Take each day as it. Comes. You can’t change yesterday or see into the future. Live and enjoy your love for one another. The future will take care of itself. God Bless!
Campervan Tales Thank you guys. We are so flattered! Jo and Matt are such a lovely couple and so easy to get on with. We had a lot of fun when we met them and hope to meet up again soon.
Another great video guys... Love the drone... Dead impressed with the reversing up to the pump out.. It's as much as I can do to get there going forwards... 🍷🍷
Steve Hoare I was quite pleased myself. It makes a change to have the camera going when something goes right rather than when I'm crashing into locks😊 Fran x
Just a tip for who ever is on engineer duty, any time you do a bit of extra reversing like that is a good time to give the prop shaft gland a little pump up of grease, the shaft spinning in the opposite direction will drag any grease into voids or air pockets missed from constant forward motion.Lovely footage as usual we just did a binge watch after getting back from 5 weeks cruising/diving/fishing/exploring on our boat off the remote Kimberley coast of Australia.Happy cruis'n and give the dogs a pat from us ;)
I know where you mean. It looks like an amazing place. I've tried to talk my son into applying to them, but he is enjoying Cornwall too much. Thanks for watching Fran x
Hi guys. Thanks for another brilliant vlog. Your cottage isn’t far from me. I live in Hereford. It’s a cute place and the garden is massive. I still prefer your canal vlogs best though. I’m not surprised that you would choose the cut over the cottage. Keep safe.
Hi Fran and Rich so what is all this deciding business, Don't tell me you are thinking of leaving us,I for one enjoy your vlog's as I assume that many others do,after all the work you have both done to get your boat shipshape. However if there are reasons then I can understand . My reason to swallow the anchor was age 74yrs at it.What ever you decide Good Luck to to you Both. And THANK YOU.
Anthony thank you for your consideration. We are extremely careful but find life jackets get in the way. We will have them on the Thames though. Fran X
beebreeder That would be fantastic. At the moment we never know where we will be. If you email me on constanzecreations@gmail.com I could give you my sons address and collect from him when we are in London? Thank you Fran x
❤what a charming couple with a down to earth entertaining presentation ❤
Thank you so much ❤️
Very pretty countryside, and canal cruising. Thanks for the vlog

We did love the cottage, but it just wasn't working out for us. It was a shame, but time to move on

Beautiful cottage...great stuff as always...all the best..keep em coming....
Know it must be hard to leave such a lovely cottage in a pristine setting, but the two of you seem to enjoy life aboard the boat so much. Good luck and safe travels.
Rick Jones thank you, we are lucky, and the boat is always where we prefer to be.
Great vidoe we loved Hungerford ❤️❤️❤️
Relaxed again 👍
I'd be tempted to get ebikes so I could explore 'inland' a bit more. There's beautiful country around Hungerford/ Marlborough.
Were happy walking with the dogs. We can always get buses or trains to go further afield
Another great vlog, glad you’ve decided to carry on cruising, and good steering Fran..
Thank you Jill. It was never in doubt that we would carry on. We were just playing with ideas x
great video, and the boat sounds mutch better now :)
Greetings,, Kitty.

InstaBlaster
What a beautiful part of the network , enjoyed your vlog as always :)
Very enjoyable ...I love a good nose around people's houses and boats :)
TheLifeOfSteve That's one of the best things about winter when people have lights on and curtains open just inviting me to look inside. Ha ha!
Goodness me , I thought I was the only person in the whole world that does that . Mind you , if you can look out you can look in :) I had a girlfriend once who thought because You can't see out of the window in a room with its light on then that meant people could not see in that same room .......
Love the flooring in the master.
Nice to meet you yesterday! Good luck on your way north 😁
Good to hear from you. Wrap up warm it's getting chilly.

Loved your cottage but (spoiler alert) can see how getting a larger boat in the near future will be perfect for full timing🤗
We loved the cottage too and would have loved to keep it just in case we want to go back to land, but we love this life more
I am so jealous. Thank God for your good health. Yup are able to put up with your typical pains of getting older. Take each day as it. Comes. You can’t change yesterday or see into the future. Live and enjoy your love for one another. The future will take care of itself. God Bless!

Good Morning. We let it as a holiday cottage and is advertised as such. Thanks for watching and your interest Fran. X
There isn't many villages that I would live in like those English Villages.
I was going to live in the same village as your house. In a lovely comme. It is a smashing place.
I know where you mean. It looks like an amazing place. I've tried to talk my son into applying to them, but he is enjoying Cornwall too much. Thanks for watching

Hi Fran and Richard, love your videos better than any bbc program !!!
Just a quick question, where did you get the rechargeable light from. .👍👍👍👍
You have a nice house in the country. Now do not be surprised if a lot of visitors come by. Unfortunately you can not go up the river with your boat.
Duck ha ha ha .....
