The Phoenix Suns are currently down 3-2 and are on the verge of losing the NBA Finals after winning the first two games. Few teams have ever blown a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals. In light of that fact, there have been discussions about what losing this series will do for Chris Paul’s legacy, how it affects where ranks all time, does losing this series prevent him from being a top 5 point guard, etc. etc. In my opinion, it should not negatively affect his legacy at all. In fact, I think all this talk about it hurting his legacy is kind of ridiculous. “Why?”, you might ask. Well, watch the video to find out.

It does negatively effect his legacy... he's still a top 5 all time PG but Chris Paul has a tendency of disappearing in vital moments like how he did in Houston. Chris Paul isn't playing like he wants to win. D.Book is!

I was about to disagree BUT then I thought about it 🤔 this is a fair take. This is the worse we will see of CP3 AND he STILL was the 2nd option on a 1 seed.
Edit: I am aware of the Suns epic collapse against the Mavs. Still, that's not all on him.
