      Him and KD have equal roles, so think of KD as Red Hood or Red Robin

      If he went to Brooklyn to have equal roles then he made a mistake
      If kd returns to even 80% of his former self then kd should be the batman
      Even gsw handed him the key to operate when they have 3 all stars

      Like stop overhyping the nets The nets next year are going to be a fringe playoff team at best like 7 or 8 Kd is going to play 10 games before the nets realize the Kd isnt good anymore and trade him unless the nets have the shittiest management And Kyries overrated ass isnt gonna be much help either All hes gonna do is bitch about everything To the point that kd if he hasnt been traded yet will demand a trade . But hey what can I say those two deserve each other they both do nothing but piss people off The only difference is Kd is going to be a hall of Famer kyrie isnt The only notable thing he has done was win rookie of the year He was a good player but not hall of fame good the only ring he has ever won was the ring Lebron Got him he would've never won a ring in Cleveland without Lebrons help

      @@trevoratwood3846First of all, we don't know if KD is gonna be ok, if he is, the team is easily gonna be top 2 in the East. Easily.
      And LeBron got that ring because of Kyrie. They needed each other. Lets keep in mind LeBron has never won shit by himself, despite what his fans think.

      Obviously once KD returns from injury next season, that's when they will get some veterans and great role players. Cus once KD returns, it's serious mode and they will cruise straight to the Finals for sure.

      Kyrie wanted vets cuz he knows vets aren’t going to be wanting many touches and they’re going to do the dirty work . Kyrie wanted to win as long as he was the reason that they won

    • @tayeant1
      @tayeant1 5 років тому +11

      Nah, he just couldn't understand why guys were playing so much 1on1. He doesn't care if they're vets he cares about the shots you take according to your abilities. Vets tend to play realistically yes but age doesn't matter. He doesn't care for peoples touches, he knows he needs his teammates. He just wants the ball in crucial moments cause he's a proven winner capable of making the best play.

      I'm a Celtics fan too; but it's super important to look at want went wrong. Kyrie was a huge part, but people need to understand it's just he didn't fit with the team stylistically or on court personality wise. He's a good guy; and is the most skilled all around PG in the league.
      But Kemba Walker is a better fit for BOS because he is less ISO driven, and is positive dude all around. He'll never yell at his teammates on the court. LeBron has yelled at his teammates on the court and he's won championships, so there's no right or wrong way to be a Leader, but Kyrie just didn't know how to lead a group with the toolset the Celtics had last year. Wish him the best.

    Hayward came back strong as ever
    Jaylen Brown is looking like a star this season he’s serious / Tatum added to his arsenal offensively and improved defensively - stopped trying to be the next Kobe , instead creating his own legacy .

    I find it interesting how Kyrie always causes problems every team he's on. Like the Cavs how he demanded a trade and caused team chemistry. The Celtics he was taking shots at everyone cuz they weren't winning a lot of games. You can tell that the Celtics are much better without Kyrie. They made the EFC without him and part of that has to do with him wanting to be a leader but he failed. The same situation s happening with the Nets. Kyrie was out for a long time and the team was 13-3 without him and his Nets teammates are giving him the same vibe like his Celtic teammates. Don't get me wrong I like Kyrie, he's one of the best players I've ever seen but he's not cut out to be a leader.

Boston did way better when Kyrie wasn’t there and I truly believe he knew with the rising star in Tatum it wasn’t long before he was going to get outshined. I give it a solid year with him and Durant before he gets tired of being back up. Happened in Cleveland

    I wonder if Kyrie was using some Kobe methods without having Kobe's resume or front office backing. Kobe would use old school methods to motivate, including talking to the media, but he had a whole organization behind him to empower his style of play, leadership, and decisions. Kyrie came into a team set in their ways and was trying to get them to fit with him, which suggests he might have benefited with a different method of leadership.

      @DripFaceP 3 роки тому +2

      yeah yeah yeah if "doing well" means injured from karma with stomping on the logo of my team the celtics, and breaking his foot. having issues with teammates, an entire state (that would be massachussets + other states in the area who dont have an nba team) who hates him, he falsely accusing us of being racist, and his team losing to the BUCKS 4-3 becuase of his injury and what he did to my logo andthe gme 7 was played in brooklyn so they are trash and currently if you havent heard kemba got traded and the celtics got moses brown, al orford and now that we cleared a lot of money from the kemba pot we can get a star PG like damian lilard or someone and youre saying were struggling???? even kemba was not struggling much with the trade. sure he was sad because he was close friends with his teammates but if there is any loser here, I think its the nets, kyrie, harden, KD for even wanting to play with kyrie, the nets fans probably should strt looking to be a fan of a team with no kyrie on it and the betters who bet on the nets inning. betting is honestly stupid and its a sin, so those betters shoulda learned their lesson. nets bandwagon fans are the only winners on your side because now they can be a bandwagon fn for any of the 3 remaining teams suns bucks and hawks, but cmon there BANDWAGON fans so you nets fans are losers too.

    As a long time Celtic fan, this is an accurate depiction of what we went through. A few things to add to the timeline:
    1 - I remember seeing a First Take segment before All-Star break in which Stephen A said according to his 'sources', that Kyrie is doing all these to make it easier to leave Boston.
    2 - Dinwiddie told reporters Kyrie called him and said 'New York might be fun next year' in DECEMBER 2018. Bobby Portis said in the summer that 'everybody knows' Kyrie and KD are going to Brooklyn.
    3 - By the end of the season all Boston media members had stopped trying to pretend that they don't hate Irving, as it showed in their articles, especially after the infamous 'who cares' quote from Irving after poor shooting against MIL. Later in the summer one reported Kyrie rode an elevator with one of the assistant coaches with his headset on without saying a word.
    4 - Celtics plan to trade for Anthony Davis (or let New Orleans hold until the summer because they can't trade for him mid-season, but the Lakers can) played a big part in last season's locker room drama, which is noteworthy.
