@@xrayron1 I would say Mr. John Stevens was the first. He is filming boats during the interview. He than probably shares his videos to other sites. Did he copy the idea of a channel about ”boats in inlets” I suppose he did. It's still his original content tho.

Actually this is just a Canal under a bridge It does seem like there is quite a fast current flowing and of course the boat wake turns it into a washing machine , Haulover is an inlet leading to the open Atlantic from the ICW so there’s actually a lot more to look out for Tides ,wind, heavy traffic and of corse the standing wave just outside the jetty at least Haulover is pretty wide, this cut Is more reminiscent of the Boynton Beach inlet very narrow and wicked current during a outgoing tide in my opinion navigating both pretty regularly I would say Boynton Beach Inlet is much more “Hairy”

Haulover a LOT more forgiving since its a LOT wider than Blynman too. Either one requires you to maintain power.

Nah Gloucester is an amazingly fun place in the summer, the cut bridge is a pretty dangerous place if you don’t know what you’re doing.
