Its actualy insane how smart parrots are, last summer my african grey got spooked by a dog and managed to fly out. I wasnt at home when that happend, she spent the night outside and we had no idea where she was. We posted everywhere ect, but heard nothing from her for 23h. Btw she had never been outside and didnt have any real flying experience outside but randomly i see her flying over me calling me. Nothing nicer than happy birds flying. I have a Rainbow Lorikeet that flies around inside the whole house. He has a Pak-o-Bird for outside. I'm with him all day every day and he has no cage at all and sleeps in his own converted cat house, no cat, on a high ledge in my bedroom. The love of a bird is like nothing else on earth.
The footage of the macaw and Amazon 'playgroup' was absolutely phenomenal. I don't have a bird yet thoroughly enjoy all the video of parrots. This one was exceptional. God was having a good day when she gave us such beauty.
These birds are just majestic!! Amazing, beautiful...they leave me breathless. 🥰🦜🐦♥️ It makes you wonder how big is our God if he could created such a beautiful birds!
Wow, absolutely breathtaking watching all those beautiful birds fly! I imagine it's so rewarding to watch them fly! You guys are awesome for rescuing it!
Your birds are literally the bom the amazingly cute birds birds are soooooooooooo cute and that’s amazing how you adopted Mia ! !?!?,,,,,,! Your birds are cute
I had the chills watching all of the beautiful babies flying! What an amazing story! I found Mt first cockatiel as a stray. He didn't have a band at the time and no one was around so he became my pet. That was many many years ago back in the 1990s. I just recently purchased another baby cockatiel, he's 6 months old now and is completely spoiled!
Ohhh....what beauty.... absolute heavenly to see ....I fell-in-love with your beautiful life ....with your beautiful birds....nothing but river of tears....thankQ so much for sharing....
I absolutely adore seeing these beautiful babies flying freely and seeing how much joy they’re clearly having in doing so! I commend free flying trainers and parents for the extra effort they put into giving these beautiful souls the freedom they deserve! Thank you for sharing that there’s actually an alternative to the seemingly more common way that “pet” birds are treated and exist in today’s world. 🙏🏼💜
I've just recently found a couple of your posts and I am so happy for you and the owners that are privileged to keep macaws in their life they are so remarkable of creatures
Wow. It was awesome to see all those Birds Freeflying. So Beautiful. What a Wonderful story about saving the McCaw on the roof and then to find the owner and return Her to Her Family. How amazing. 😊
can always appreciate genuine people who don't film everything for clout. Anyone else would have whipped out the camera and shoved it in that poor birds face just for views. keep it up guys :)
I’ve been working for more than a year (inconsistently) to harness train my African grey. Seeing your beautiful birds in flight is inspiring. I’m now motivated to find some local resources to make this happen for the well being of my best friend. 🥰
Hello from Austin, Texas, USA! The end of this video with the free flying literally put a lump in my throat. Just beautiful. I lost my beloved Eclectus when he was only a year and a half old due to me NOT training him to fly. In a freak accident, he was startled right as I was opening the back door and he flew out. He circled a couple times before disappearing. I searched and searched but never found him. It was absolutely heartbreaking. This was over a year ago. I recently decided I was ready to have an Eclectus again and ended up with my boy Rocky. This time I want to teach him how to free fly. I may never get the chance to fly him like this but if he ever gets out, I want him to be able to get back to me.
Awww so sorry to hear about your first Eckie, good luck with your next. Free flight training is so handy for situations just like that. We wish you the best.
Hi guys, About a month ago I adopted a 9 month old harlequin. At the time I never thought it possible that I could train her up to free fly or if I would have the nerve. However through watching some of your posts and researching I am coming round to the idea. I now have her harness trained and she is quite good flying round the house in a massive through room. Now the weather is getting warmer I am desensitising her to be outside. I would love to come and see you or any others free flying In Person if you don't mind me coming along with her maybe. I see you are in London and recognised Richmond Park in some of the clips. I am in Sutton so not too far. Many thanks Pascal
Your videos are a joy to me. They remind me of home we have wild macaws perch on our sills. To see them free flying here in the UK and happy brings a lump to my throat. I wish I could show you the ones in my country and when you looked up to the skies they would silhouette the twilight. Thank you for respecting them, loving them, enjoying them and allowing them to be as free as they can be in this country. Hats off to you. They are happy and it shows.
I'm so grateful to you guys, if any of my birds ever escaped I would be devastated... Just listening to his screams brought me to tears. All of you are amazing, compassionate people ❤
Wow! What a fantastic story! It really is crazy how small the world is and how fate brings strangers together. I am thrilled that this story had a happy ending! Also, that was some great camera work on the free flight portion. I was really digging all the acrobatics the birds were doing :D. Thank you for sharing as always!
I have a trio of wild crows that have become my friends. I'm able to call one of them over, down off a roof on the other end of the block! I call her my little creep because I can tell she sometimes just sits there waiting for me to come to the window with her treats. It really feels special to be able to call a bird to you. I started building a connection with her about a year ago this month. She and her partner went from not even taking the treats I threw down to the sidewalk unless I hid myself to now she will take treats right from my hand! Her partner is still shy since she spent the summer sitting the nest and didn't get to know me. They brought their babies to my window as soon as they could start flying and one has stayed around so I now have 2 generations of bird friends! I can't wait to see how our relationship will grow once I can keep the windows open all day again.
I just loved this so much. My first time watching . I have a 50 year old Amazon who would rather cuddle than fly. I don't have his wings clipped he just rather just love me. He only files when he wants to. We have been together for 45 years.
Awww amazons are adorable. Birds usually will stick to routine and do what they know, if they have experienced more cuddles than flight that’s what they know. If you wanted him to fly more, you could always start with some short indoor recall rewarding him with cuddles and treats, a bit of exercise is great for them.
I cannot express my love for these birds. You guys are so wholesome and always do the right thing. My dream is to get a bird one day. I’ve been researching a lot and I hope I get one.
The end- Birds flying- The music- its so majestic 😮 love all your vids (I'm also planning to buy a parrot on summer) Btw all your vids are beautifull great work you two 👏:-)
That's awesome. I have tears in my eyes. We just lost my son's young cat to a sudden kidney failure. That feeling when you fear for the safety of your cherished pet is gut wrenching. I'm glad there was a happy ending.
Omg, I'm so sorry & know how u feel. I lost a cat 5 years ago to kidney failure & my other beautiful cat we got at the same time just had to put down, only 8 years cuz of kidney failure. The Tom cat getting the mothers pregnant must've has kidney issues as they weren't from the same litter. No signs previous with the one we just lost, came out of nowhere & she fought for a hard 2 weeks but it was too bad. That girl had been through so much with me & my daughter, miss her so much 😢 Really sucks losing pets..
@@Mandy_39 ty. I'm sorry for your loss. Ours was a rescued, feral, handicat (only had one adorable eye) so we didn't know much about her. The doc said she could have missed out on vital nutrition before the rescued her as a 6 week old kitten.

I think I would have dropped dead if I were there. Such beauty and grace; my heart would stop. I'm gonna start training with my 15 yo Umbrella next year, baby steps though. I would give anything to have him fly with this flock. I feel so emotional now. Think I'm gonna wake him up and have him comfort me. Great video, guys. You are a beacon of light in a world growing darker. Much love from the Netherlands.
Wow 😯 amazing video you guys made,I hope I am be the first person see this beautiful video, I was driving when I got notice about this video I was literally got out of the navigation app and I watched the video while I was driving, thank you very much for saving my lovely macaw(Kasko) you’re the best people I meet in my life thanks again

Your channel is amazing. I have fallen in love with your stories. I have learned a lot about birds! It's wonderful what the two of you do and I will definitely keep watching. Thank-you for what you do!
just found this channel today. I don't have birds, and I don't think I'd ever want one, but I love your videos and your birds. Never have subscribed to a bird channel before, but yall have such a pure love for your birds. Excited to watch all of your videos!
Most people would NOT just keep a big, scary, screaming bird. Most people don't want anything to do with birds. Heck, even this couple clearly don't want a THIRD bird; if they did, they would've gotten one already, lol.
I'm a big fan of yours and inspired me to help a fellow parrot in need . You made a lot of people be inspired of animals true beauty and I'm one of them and thank you
I have wanted a macaw since I was in third grade they are my absolute favorite animal my goal is to save macaws that have had there homes destroyed they are just beautiful creatures
Saving them is a big goal! Make sure to do your research if thats your passion. They are absolutely majestic creatures, I love that goal, do your research on them, and maybe, just maybe, that dream might turn into a reality!
This is why flight training your bird is a really good idea! Even if you think your bird will never get outside, mistakes happen. Having good recall, good descent, and your bird desensitized to outdoor noises won't guarantee your bird will get back to you, but it really improves your birds chances. I've heard so many stories of people finding or losing birds and not being able to recover them, you should decrease the chances of that being your bird as much as you can!
Wow, I can't believe this happened, such a cool story. My Bourke parakeet is in recall training, and he's doing a good job and almost comes over instantly.
Omg I love this video so much 😍♥️ I love how you helped the bird out!! I am trying to learn about my macaws and so I can’t tell if it was a Camelot, Catalina or shamrock macaw 😂😂 I’m still trying She was a harlequin 😆😘
I see your birds ...and I cry and cry..there's a scream instead of a heart in me...I have exactly one like mickey..a rescue...self mutilator..obsessive with his skin and bit of feathers left...I got him in such a state..no developed muscles to fly..not enough feathers on the wings either to fly...hysterical scared of any toys...and on...10 years ive tried what I know and heard...nothing.....and dont say its food...its not..peter south africa
I don't own a bird but I love animals and I think watching y'all free fly your birds is so beautiful to see they look absolutely amazing in flight where I live it's not a common sight here so watching your videos is awesome
Oh my goodness such a crazy story! So happy you found the bird’s rightful owner and cannot imagine what car ride you guys were going through with the screaming from the macaw 😂
hey guys! i just got my first birb, a green cheek conure. im still only 13 so obviously i had no means to ask for/ take care of a macaw so i settles for a beautiful little green cheek conure needing a home, although the birds are very different i truly believe that in the future when i get my macaw, this experience will help me, my bird has a pretty small cage, the ones advertised for macaws but definitely not big enough for one. but she is out with me at least 5/6 hours a day. getting a bird has really helped me alot, i have autism and dont really talk to people outside my family coming home and having something to focus on helps me so much. i never thought i would get a bird but i think birds are the best decision i have made so far in my short life. when im out i have so much fun with the bird community, i sometimes even get to hold macaws and cockatoos, everyone is so supportive and it just helps me develop this love language between me and birds, for a bird i have only had a week i have such a strong connection with it. thankyou so much for teaching me how to find my happiness through birds.
Absolutely adore this channel. Just came across it researching trust building exercises with pet birds because we just took a cockatiel who was badly neglected. Luckily he's making great progress so far 😊 This video especially cheered me up to see the freedom we're working towards in action 😍 Subscribed ✨
I love you guys, I'v been a bird owner my self. I love cockatiel. Had 3 of them. All of them died after 1-2 years, I feed them properly but I never got time to play with them. Ever since then I was afraid to get more of them. But watching your videos showed me a different way to treat them. I guess I'll give it one more shot and I'm sure this time I can take care of them well. Thank you guys, keep doing what your doing.
Np! Im getting a budgie soon but when I move away from home I may try to find a macaw to adopt but that depends on how much time I have, but no matter what I’m gonna get a lot of birds :)
This is the coolest story ever!! I just love your channel. Such beautiful flying 🥰

Aww thanks. It really sucks that people steal pets, it’s such a horrible thing. We are so happy how well this day worked out.
The three Amazons are adorable!!!
They really are.
Awww thanks so much. Yes get into training. It will be the best thing you will ever do.
Beautiful birds, they look so healthy
They do eat better than their humans.
Lol
Absolutely the most amazingly beautiful sight to behold!! And what an amazing story. I'm so glad you found her human daddy and obviously she was too.

Your channel is amazing. I have fallen in love with your stories. I have learned a lot about birds! It's wonderful what the two of you do and I will definitely keep watching. Thank-you for what you do!
Its funny how Cosco wanted to go with the greenwing since it probably reminded her of her " brother"/ "sister"
Yes exactly. We honestly believe he thought aero was his flying buddy then got confused later haha. Without Aero this may not have been possible.
Your videos are so awesome keep up the good work
Incredible! Totally loved watching this. You are all heroes! I wish I could fly....
Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed the vid.
just found this channel today. I don't have birds, and I don't think I'd ever want one, but I love your videos and your birds. Never have subscribed to a bird channel before, but yall have such a pure love for your birds. Excited to watch all of your videos!
Aww thanks so much. So glad you enjoy the content. We really do hope you enjoy your time here.
Ur soo good petson for giving him to his real owner most People would keep him. And sooo citē video
Most people would NOT just keep a big, scary, screaming bird. Most people don't want anything to do with birds. Heck, even this couple clearly don't want a THIRD bird; if they did, they would've gotten one already, lol.
Haha yea some would keep him, once Mikey landed in a back yard and they wanted to keep him, they even named him Rio haha.
What a Beautiful sight seeing them fly free. Their colors were amazing against the back drop of the sky.
It’s truly so amazing to watch them fly every day. We never ever get bored of it.
i need friends who have birds because I can't have one since my animal family is quite full but I would absolutely love to get to know a bird
Such beautiful birds! I wish I could own one! ( instead I have parakeets but I'm greatful for them )
Magnificent creatures
I'm a big fan of yours and inspired me to help a fellow parrot in need . You made a lot of people be inspired of animals true beauty and I'm one of them and thank you
Awww amazing. This is so goof to hear. Thank you for helping the bird in need.
Exactly right, great comment.
i have a budgie he loves to fly around the house and hes 5-6 months old :3 i called him Wifi
That's great. XD
Awwww yay.
So beautiful to see so many of them together!
I was thinking ‘you don’t need another bird!’, but I was screaming “KEEP THE DAMN BIRD!”
Hahaha we DEFINITELY don’t need another bird.
Wow, I can't believe this happened, such a cool story. My Bourke parakeet is in recall training, and he's doing a good job and almost comes over instantly.
Aww amazing.
Omg I love this video so much 😍♥️ I love how you helped the bird out!! I am trying to learn about my macaws and so I can’t tell if it was a Camelot, Catalina or shamrock macaw 😂😂 I’m still trying
She was a harlequin 😆😘
Haha thanks so much. She was a harlequin.
Ow yes I forgot about that one woops sorry 😂♥️♥️
I see your birds ...and I cry and cry..there's a scream instead of a heart in me...I have exactly one like mickey..a rescue...self mutilator..obsessive with his skin and bit of feathers left...I got him in such a state..no developed muscles to fly..not enough feathers on the wings either to fly...hysterical scared of any toys...and on...10 years ive tried what I know and heard...nothing.....and dont say its food...its not..peter south africa
If my macaw ever got lost,,, I will be calling on you.. No really great guys all that love to give this Amazing parrots (our babies)
Hahah, we will be there.
I don't own a bird but I love animals and I think watching y'all free fly your birds is so beautiful to see they look absolutely amazing in flight where I live it's not a common sight here so watching your videos is awesome
I like it as a channel just I also like this other channel called snake Discovery
Me too!
Absolutely gorgeous!
Oh my goodness such a crazy story! So happy you found the bird’s rightful owner and cannot imagine what car ride you guys were going through with the screaming from the macaw 😂
Yes we are so happy too. Hahah it was actually so loud. We wanted that 17min drive back go much faster than it did.
hey guys! i just got my first birb, a green cheek conure. im still only 13 so obviously i had no means to ask for/ take care of a macaw so i settles for a beautiful little green cheek conure needing a home, although the birds are very different i truly believe that in the future when i get my macaw, this experience will help me, my bird has a pretty small cage, the ones advertised for macaws but definitely not big enough for one. but she is out with me at least 5/6 hours a day. getting a bird has really helped me alot, i have autism and dont really talk to people outside my family coming home and having something to focus on helps me so much. i never thought i would get a bird but i think birds are the best decision i have made so far in my short life. when im out i have so much fun with the bird community, i sometimes even get to hold macaws and cockatoos, everyone is so supportive and it just helps me develop this love language between me and birds, for a bird i have only had a week i have such a strong connection with it. thankyou so much for teaching me how to find my happiness through birds.
Awww this is so amazing to hear. It seems like you are a great bird owner and starting so young will just mean you will get better and better.
A weekday video, AWESOME What a treat!!!
Haha yup, thought why wait
We in America are all self=isolating due to coved 19. This made my day watching the birds flying
Awww amazing. Glad you enjoyed it.
Did you read this? If yes I have a cockatoo that free flies! I live in Minnesota.
Ashlyn Nguyen awesome. What cockatoo ?
Major Michele cockatoo
Awwww amazing, we love Major Mitchell’s
Their feathers are such beautiful colours.
What an amazing story. I would die if my Sun Conure got lost. When will we see the return of Hat boi?
Hat boi was amazing, I miss him too 😂
Haha we will have to do a road trip up to visit hat boi one day soon.
Do you follow him on Instagram? Iagothemacaw
Absolutely adore this channel. Just came across it researching trust building exercises with pet birds because we just took a cockatiel who was badly neglected. Luckily he's making great progress so far 😊
This video especially cheered me up to see the freedom we're working towards in action 😍 Subscribed ✨
Aww thanks. We hope you enjoy your time here.
2:11 I saw a bird poop
Hahaha
💩.
The happiness is to just see those birds free and r able to fly with their own freedom
It never ever gets hold to see how happy they are in the sky.
It's been sooooooooooo long

Thanks so much. Yes and it’s even better in real life.
10:25 excuse me is that bird flying UPSIDE DOWN?
i wonder how they learn that?
Haha yes. Zoom is crazy in the sky. It’s amazing to watch him.
yeah it’s awesome
I love you guys, I'v been a bird owner my self. I love cockatiel.
Had 3 of them. All of them died after 1-2 years, I feed them properly but I never got time to play with them. Ever since then I was afraid to get more of them. But watching your videos showed me a different way to treat them. I guess I'll give it one more shot and I'm sure this time I can take care of them well.
Thank you guys, keep doing what your doing.
Aww amazing to hear. There is a lot to learn. Maybe look into bird training courses.
My Macaw is 4 month old, at what temp can i take him out in a harness?
We take ours out anywhere above 2 degrees.
@@MikeyTheMacaw Alright, thank you for your answer!
I really love this channel and how you care for birds it is so great to see your birds fly free I get happy every time I see it!
Aww thanks so much.
Np! Im getting a budgie soon but when I move away from home I may try to find a macaw to adopt but that depends on how much time I have, but no matter what I’m gonna get a lot of birds :)
I'm getting a new budgie
Oh wow. Nice. Hopefully they have a happy healthy life with you.
Their wings are so beautiful to watch it reminds me of a tropical jungle for some reason and I did not know macaws could fly on their back :0
