So true.... I have a GCC who is 2 years old, he was gifted to me and I adore and spoil him....teaching him recall but would love to free fly him, however due to his size it would be dangerous for him. 😪

i have a african grey and we take him to fly every day and he doesn't have a cage he sleeps on his stand he does have a cage but he is on his stand in the day and we bought a huge cage and he sleeps in it
@@boilingsoda Sometimes the cage is a bedroom. I had done this with my iguana. She had no cage at all, but if guests, the dogs and cat got too much of a handful for her she would walk to my open bedroom door and chill out on the window seal where her other heat rock was. The dogs and cat didn't enter the bedroom as did guests if they wanted to see her. If she had been in the living room and left to my room, I wouldn't go get her. Her going to my room was strictly off limits. That was her chill zone when she felt she needed the break.
I believe it's very important to have cage, not only as a safe place when you cant watch your bird but also a safe place to eat and drink, transportation and vet visits are also a good reason to own a cage

There are many Scarlet Macaws, Red and Green Macaws, Harlequin Macaws, Red-Fronted Macaws, and Golden Macaws but only two green Indian ring-necked parakeets (very cute)... but overall, that party looked INSANE!
