I cannot stand that hunter. I have not been able to beat him and I'm over farming thin bones. I would rather buy them but since I can't beat him, I farm. I will try getting on the roof next time, thanks for the tip
10:54 honestly, probably the best way to deal with this bear is to just doze it. Chuck a sleep pot to the face, back off and allow the effect to take (1 pot is all you need), then jog past and and grab those items in the alcove, you'll have plenty of time. On your way back, teabag him, crit him awake (this part is optional for a little added insult, there won't be much injury) and then run like a lil B' before descending down further into the rest of the cave. Enjoy his roars of rage above from relative safety and yell back "F you bear!"
From Dragonbarrow West site of grace (1st one he grabs at 9:00 min mark) head north east towards the Divine Tower of Caelid. After killing the scarab for the somber smithing stone 8, head east towards a small lake. Follow with the cliff to your left then double back on yourself to the left down almost underneath the Divine Tower of Caelid. There is a circle of chairs with 4 items to grab, a rune arc, a somber smithing stone 9, arteria leaf and a grease (forget which type!). Hope this helps makes sense and helps someone!
Took me 2h of atempts to kill that golem (at least 25% of them ended when trying to jump down to him) and he dropped nothing while giving very few runes. I was never as disappointed in this game as at that moment.
For the Nights Calvary You can stand on that tree branch that overlooks the bridge. Bring a bow and some spells. Get his attention run up tree. blast with spells. when he runs off in the distance keep hitting him with arrows until he returns, then repeat until dead.
There’s a Somber Stone 9 to the east and below that tower where you got the exploding Somber 8 beetle off the branch. Guys sitting in a chair with two other bits of loot. Easy ride down to it if you go east a bit and just run down the ramp.
I noped out of a lot of boss battles around here, which I need to go back to. So many great tips in the comments, so thanks all who offer them! Early farming spots were the giant ball near the dragon bridge (2,500 each time, easily repeated via site of grace) and the little dudes by the beast sanctum, who give ~1250 each & are fun to stalk.
For the Warrior Jar quest, if you play offline for that battle, it will be easier, otherwise the game will load in the three warrior knights with OP builds. I had to deal with three warrior knights with Rivers of Blood builds which was shit
Tip for the stone golem. On your way down, your 3rd and fourth jumps will land you on two stone pillars way above the golem. Use a bow from there. I used Radahn's Rain from his greatbow
For great jar, if you run to the left there is a rock right at the edge you can crouch behind where the enemies can’t hit you. Eventually they will do a roll and fall off the cliff
Thank you for saving my (still) first playthrough. I would have lost so many good items to oblivion if it wasn't for you. You have all my gratitude and trust .
When fighting that golem you can thankfully use the pillars to hide behind, which is great when he has that blue laser attack going. But don't stand too close, because the jerk's weapon clips through it, and will knock you over the edge if you don't have the cliff behind you.
Thanks Dom. Although I've finished the game - I've been wrapping up loose ends and collecting everything I can before moving to NG, so now heading to get the bullgoat talisman, crest, and then to the bestial sanctum for my favorite thing in the game - platforming.
I am EXTREMELY embarrassed now. I have been to Lenne's Rise so many times, wondered how to unlock it, and NEVER thought of using the spirit spring with Torrent and to just jump onto the roof. OMG, heavy facepalm myself moment there.
you actually missed 2 items in the sellia hideaway and theyre both after the stake of marika. in the first room with all the snails near the entrance of the room hug the right side and walk along the farthest cystral to the right and jump down the 2 crystals making your way towards the left and you'll find glintstone sorcerers guarding the crystallian spirit ashes, then go back to the first room and hug the right side again until youre on a small ledge overlooking the bottom half of the room, hit an invisible wall and collect the crystal spear
@@omnomshibob 15:20 he says theres nothing of note in sellia hideaway here and theres no missable items he was just gonna cover the sealed cave and the boss he had said
For the dragon that we did not see you kill you can use items to get even more easy runes, and I don't know if it was patched but you can cheese her by stabbing some parts of the back of her body, the baby dragons will aggro but will not be able to reach you. If you use bleed or poison it can go fast.
Knights of Calvary @ 12:34.. I defeated him by running past him, jumping up into a tree branch at the base of the hill, and shooting him with arrows. It took a long time and a lot of arrows, but it worked. I was left unharmed.
Around 12:20 The black Knight is still cheeseable. The poison path is patched, but to make him fall you have to bait him into a jumping attack right at the same time you jump off the cliff then use the double jump turning direction to the Bridge while he falls not having a double jump. I find easier to take him out than this cheese, but people with good timimg and frames can make it look easy
I don’t believe the poison path is patched, but it has nothing to do with the poison (sort of). The way it works is that you drag him far enough away from his spawn location that the bridge despawns and then since he’s poisoned the game will keep him in so when he goes back to his location there isn’t a bridge there and he falls and dies. I did this about three weeks ago, I believe after 1.04, but that could be off.
@@unai49999 yeah i found his respawning was very eratic and hard to trigger consistently. Also did that tree gank, but also for fun had him follow me up the road where those poison bombs are on the ground. Easy poison damage to him without a sword swing or arrow shot. And then i just piled on the blood arrows and rot arrows.

The giant bats in fort faroth can absolutely go eff themselves. For me it's not worth it to clear the room. I just run past, grab the medallion and the soreseal, get out and never look back😅
The black knight horse riding guy can be cheesed by getting on the tippy top of a railing, the pot looking structure on it. Then using ranged attacks. Just did it weeks ago.
You can cheese the bridge dragon for cheap with the ancestral archer being summoned on the big rock nearby and standing up there with the dragon semi far back with ranged aggro. I don't know the consistency, but I got thin loopin in wanting to fight me and go back to his spawn. I kept hiding on the other side from his breath attacks and shot arrows to get his attention back for chipping away at him and got that lucky state. That bell hunter is really hard, I recommend you use torrent to hop up the shed and stand on the roof. From there just use spells or arrows, he can’t hit you whatsoever and just walks back and forth😎

I just can't fathom the fact that they put one of the most powerful talismans (Radagon's Soreseal) in such a random location on a corpse behind wooden wall
There is also a cave on the side of the plateau called Abandoned Cave in north Caelid. It’s full of scarlet rot and you can get the golden scarab helm for defeating the boss in there. I think this cave was pointed out in a past Caelid video but I don’t remember a walkthrough of it anywhere?

The Great Jar cheese strat still works on current patch, sometimes you may need to use a Kukri to motivate them. I used one while I was on the branch and it dodge rolled off the cliff😄
You can still cheese this by killing the knife thrower without aggroing the axe wielder. I just did that with my mage where I killed the knife thrower with Loretta's Greatbow.
you really should show fully how to do everything in every video, in every video there's at least 1 thing I cant find because you skip stuff, I had to look up a separate video on how to get down the spot behind the bestial sanctum cuz I didn't know where to go and kept dying
I know this is alot to request but I haven't seen any videos on this and I'd rather see it from the best elden ring content creater on UA-cam, you.. It might take a few videos but i was trying to find videos on suggested map routes from easiest to hardest, area to area dungeon to dungeon, boss to boss including side bosses... just your personal recommendations, and I know it's alot but it's just an ambitious idea lol
Some of the basilisks attack because the game is programmed for some to sneak attack you so they do the initial attack then go docile with the beast torch. Just so you know
Actually I disagree about it not being worth killing those smaller dragons at least for early game and as a Sorcery class character. There are at least 5 or 6 of them generally in the same area and if you just spam rock sling, you can kill one in about a minute and get about 3400 runes per kill. That's actually not too bad at all
For the Dragons, if you kill ALL the smallest close to the slumbering silver dragon…it dies as well and you get a massive amount of runes and I believe a dragon heart, has to be done in one go. Happy hunting.
Is THAT how you get up Lenni's rise??? i found out if you jump from the spirit spring at the last second you can make it right to the door stair case. it took many attempts at first lol
Don't think they've patched the Night's Cavalry by Lennie's Rise as I jumped over the right side corner edge of the bridge facing the Rise. He followed me around, as as I jumped onto the bridge using torrent he then fell to his death. Did this just last week
That black gargoyle boss is so damn hard to kill i lost count of the attempts it took me to kill that guy but im so glad i did he is a fuckin beast and crazy too
Cheesing the Knight's Calvary on the bridge by getting it to jump off the cliff hasn't been patched, but it's a little difficult to achieve. You have to sort of circle the southwest portion of the bridge while riding on torrent, jumping from the cliff to the west of the south portion of the bridge to the bridge and then circling back around again. The goal is that you're trying to get the knight to get trapped in the area between the cliff and the bridge and try and bait out his jump attack correctly so he just jumps off the cliff. But if that isn't working, just come back to him and beat him the way you've beat the others ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thank you for the kind words 🙂 - I don't believe I had a buff on my weapon at this point, but the weapon itself does have a purple hue to it, it's the Wing of Astel. And the weapon art, Nebula, is what creates the purple exploding orbs 😁
There's an even better way to test drop heights without needing to use an item, check out my Top 10 Things You Didn't Know to find out how 😏 - haha what a horrible plug.. I'm immediately sorry.. but in all seriousness, there's a few cool things in there, hopefully it may be of use! :D ua-cam.com/video/rogdluZisTw/v-deo.html
Does the 2 handing work with the other torches that have effects since I need to have the one that reveals hidden enemies but I can't use my weapon art because it has a weapon art on the torch
You can also change the Ash on the torch to have the No Skill from Bernall in Lindell at the weapon master's shack. It will default to the other weapon
Quick tip on the Bell Bearing Hunter: use the Bewitching Branch on the nearby dogs, they will help you tremendously in this fight
Im ready to do that. This guy is downing me in 2 hits at lvl 50 vit, infuriating
Tip for Bell Bearing Hunter: Get on the roof of the shack and use magic.

What kind of build you running? I'm dex/strength melee. He's harder than most bosses to me.
On the Giant Skull thing just left of Fort Faroth, there are 2 smithing stone 7s, 1 smithing stone 8 and a Stonesword Key.
(It's slightly SW of Fort Faroth at a point right up the road from Gowry's Shack.) Good tip Silver Strider.

Me too. That's the biggest WTF and 'omg you gotta be kidding me' moment I've had from an Elden ring video lol
For the Warrior Jar challenge, if you run past the golems and quit out to de-aggro, you can use them to restore a couple flasks between fights.
Also, the fights are easier when you're offline.
If you use night comet they will not dodge.

That's just the worst huh! OP golem, two min dragons and a runebear... All extremely difficult to deal with and just barely drop anything
9:47 I thought I had a seizure 😂
great videos thx for that. what kind of purple buff you have on this sword? i.e. here: 00:19 ?
Thank you for the kind words 🙂 - I don't believe I had a buff on my weapon at this point, but the weapon itself does have a purple hue to it, it's the Wing of Astel. And the weapon art, Nebula, is what creates the purple exploding orbs 😁
Waiting for mountain tops & haligtree 🧐
They are coming 😁
Use your Rainbow Stones to test drop heights.
Yes. I two-handed my dagger while the Sentry Torch was on my back and I was able to see the Black Knife Assassins + use my Reduvia's Blood Blade skill
You can also change the Ash on the torch to have the No Skill from Bernall in Lindell at the weapon master's shack. It will default to the other weapon
