The Blessed Dew Talisman is awesome. I use it a lot. It helped me a ton in Stormveil Castle when i was creeping around everywhere trying to be stealthy because I was moving fairly slow. I would get in fight in one room and get nicked up pretty good, and then after the fight i would not have to use a health flask. I quite like the blessed dew talisman. Its quite useful for exploring when low level. When exploring you dont know where is the next checkpoint so want to save the potion as much as possible. And with the time you wander aimlessly can pretty much heal completely
Not quite sure how to describe it but there’s a plateau to the east of the minor Erdtree. Use the tombstones to hop down and mind the bats. The grounds are constantly being struck by lightning ( what’s that about anyway?) but off to one edge you can grab the Lightning Strike incantation. Didn’t know this place existed until my third character took on Weeping Pen.
The lightning strikes in several locations in the game. You have to farm all of the lightning plants (forgot the name of them) and the lightning will stop. Run into the lightning field (avoiding being struck is simple on the steed, and harvest all of the lightning plants for crafting
Sir, you have created an amazing series. I didn’t know there was another church located in Weeping Peninsula, and I’m already 70+ hrs in…. I need my sacred tears!!!!! 🤣
@ 1:59 if you had first jumped more to the right, you would have landed on the top of the round tower. On top of that round tower is a chest containing the Great Turtle Shell Shield. It comes with the Barricade Shield skill, and scales mainly with strength I believe. Stamina recovery increases by +3/s (7.4%), even if two-handing a weapon in the other hand. This effect stacks with the effect of the Green Turtle Talisman and the Pickled Turtle Neck. Once again another great video Dom and muchly appreciated.
I think the Blessed Dew Talisman is one of the best in the game! Wear it always except during boss fights when you need the slot for something else and you’ll significantly reduce your usage of healing flasks. It’s slow, but it adds up.
These guides have become invaluable to me. Don't know what I'd do without them (well, I'd miss a lot) but it's become a pretty reliable rule: if Dom calls it "mediocre", it's awesome. Anyways. The ax the death bird gives you restores health. So yeah.
Quick tip: you can actually roll out of the teleport-trap chests. If you click to open it, then spam dodge so you roll away the second the “opening chest” animation stops, you’ll be safe.
great video! just wanna point out - night cav and Bird are bosses you find basicly in every region, sometimes more then once. the bird axe is especially usefull early as it recovers FP on kill equally to the HP Blade you find later in the game. just put it in your offhand while dualwielding and you benefit from the effect no matter you can wield it or not.
Thank you .. The way you express the info without spoiling is so much appreciated. I like the element of surprise when I’m playing. And when trying to look for a very specific details its hard to not get spoiled. You might not read this. But so much gratitude towards you brother.
Just wanted to point out the "useless" Axe you get from the deathbird restores your FP whenever you kill something, even if you don't have the strength requirements and are not actually attacking with the axe. If you two hand a weapon and rely on its weapon art a lot, or if you are a caster, the Sacrifical Axe is one of the best off hand weapons you can have. Same as Serpent-god curved sword but FP may be more important for you depending on your build.
Health regenerating talisman coupled with the health back on critical hits talisman makes dungeon crawling much easier since there is no way to get the estus back, short of resting of course. It is even viable to block and counter with weapons only if you can lend a critical afterwards. And in the early areas you can. There is a risk of outright killing an enemy before you crit it - in that case you miss on health from the critical. But regardless passive health regen is very nice addition.
Love the series man!! Keep it up! I'm a completionist as well but just don't have the time really to go through as much as I'd like. One thing I'm trying to do right now is obtain EVERY sorcery spell. I know that would be a lot though considering the lengthy quest lines required for some of the legendary spells. Perhaps just the easier more hidden ones that most of the other content creators aren't covering? Just something to consider for future content if you feel so inclined =)
Blessed Dew Talisman is not at all useless. It’s always going, which means that if you take damage and don’t want to use a flask, you can just let it tick away. Usually this is only good between fights, but if you’re clearing out enemies that don’t pose much threat, or exploring in general, it can really extend the use of your healing pool
I actually love that blessed dew talisman. I play a sorcerer, and at least lower level it makes it so I don't need as many crimson flasks . If I take damage I usually heal it up before I come to another enemy. I'm exploring stormveil castle right now and I almost never need to heal. Totally worth it
The axe from tip number 2 is actually pretty good. Maybe not as a weapon itself. But if you like to 2h ur weapons, put the axe in ur offhand. And when you kill something, the axe restores some FP for killing said enemy. Can be pretty nifty and save u some fp pots along the way, making space for one or 2 more crimson flasks instead.
Also, there's a tower at the top of where the spirit spring mentioned in tip 3 takes you. You can take that spirit spring and if you aim just right make it onto the top of the tower. There's an item up there (though I forget what it is).
Guess I need to go hunt some ghost turtles. Good video. I did feel that maybe the turtle shell shield up on the east tower or the crossbow on the north tower maybe could have made the list.
Ooh both great weapons, especially the turtle shield!! There's so many amazing hidden things in each area its hard to narrow it down to keep the video from dragging on too long 😂
These are really great, thanks for doing them. I am playing completely blind but really taking my time trying to find every little thing. Its super nice once I feel like I have seen all there is to come back and view these to see if there is anything that I missed
@@sirmarblecake9446 so i have 2 of them. Theres the assassins cerulean dagger that you wear, and you get 15 fp per critical hit you do. Dropped by the black knife assassin boss. And then i have the ancestral spirit horn, and that gives you 3 fp per kill. Its what you get when you do the remembrance of the regal ancestors thing that involves enia in the roundtable hold
@@3rdreichball525 Its from the Remembrance of the boss in the underground valley with the spectral archers. It's not worth it though, you only get 3 fp per kill. That's nothing.
The turtle shell sheild can be missed easily as well. I missed it in my first romp through the area. If you go to the grace that you fought the Knights Calvary and use the spiritspring you can launch on top of a tower next to the area which contains the tortoise shell sheild. It's essentially the grass crest sheild with 100% physical negation, for new comers it replenishes stamina faster.
There's a jump pad for it? I parkoured up the side by the rise lol. Took me a while to get the jumps right too, I just thought it looked like I could make it up there lool
The sacrificial axe is actually really good. If you put it in offhand and two hand your main weapon then you still get the 4 fp/kill letting you do more weapon skills while exploring.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but to an Irishman hearing you say Evergowl is priceless. A Gowl in Ireland is someone who just stirs shit or causes people a headache in certain situations. "Go away from me ya gowl", that kinda way. We have Wicklow Gaol here but it's pronounced jail. I would assume the Gaols in ER would be the same but it's definitely not a criticism though so please change nothing. Your videos are great and keep up the good work.
Fun thing to do with the Erdtree Watch(cat); plink it with 3/4 crystal darts and it goes nuts and starts attacking everything, including the imps which seem to prefer to attack it.
Can't believe I missed this summon. It's really fantastic.. he is fast and really help. I immediately upgraded him to +6 and it's really good for mid game, even the underground because he is fast and teleport behind enemies while I'm slapping them in the face. Tnx for tips, I would never find him because I left this area and I doubt I would be coming back soon. And yeah, I picked up the shield, even I have great and upgraded shield, this one looks awesome so I upgraded it and I'm using it now. :)
The Axe that the Deathbird of Tip 2 Drops is actually a Must have if youre playing a Caster Build the axe restores FP every time you kill an enemy as long as it is in your off hand even if youre actually 2-handing your main weapon
Tnx man. Your videos helped me a lot.. I always watch them when I think I finished an area. Than you show me that I did not really finished it and I’ll go an pick them things up I’ll missed. This game is huge and it’s so easy to miss things
Thanks for these videos man. I thought I was pretty OP and satisfied with my sorcery build (I can kill most bosses throughout the game but they can also one shot me most of the time) I’ve barely scratched the surface of the main story so I’m taking notes on these videos to go back and get the stuff I missed in limgrave and the WP. Especially memory stones and summons. I think the WP memory stone is the only one I don’t have.
Same here. Int is on 70, strength on like 9 or 10. I've been walking through bosses even tho they can one shit me most the time. Until I stopped at the fire giant. Dude is just too buff.
5:30 Cheesy way to kill imps: Crystal Darts. Hit them a few times with them and they go haywire, attacking allies and drawing aggro from them. Works on the Watchdogs too! Keep in mind they will regain their senses at some point, and if you are the only target it won't matter, but it will stun them for a second or two.
U can kill the merchants without requiring absolution, they drop bell bearings that u can give to the twins and when u go to the statue in the Church of Vows and u have Celestial Dew, it'll say you don't need absolution
Tip 9: if you have the exploding Crystal tear, you can jump off the edge of that Lift. Line up right next to the right corner start walking towards the edge and pop the flask right before you go off the edge, I got it on my second try. It will explode right before you get to the bottom but you will survive and you have now got a shortcut to the royal capital. Probably get your ass kicked pretty badly at the beginning of the game but it's still kind of cool to get there.
Great series, thanks for the tips! One easy tip for you and viewers is use the spirit stream you used in tip 3 and jump on the roof of the tower right next to you for a shield. It is not 100% damage resist UNLESS you use its' art of war, which is barricade shield. Could be useful in early game. Subscribed.
Thank goodness for this. I really love this game at the same time I don’t want to spend 2 years playing it to discover it all. I’ve missed two things on this list so not bad.
If you make an additional video, could you cover the faith cracked tear? Took three runs before I came across the tear tucked away on the cliffside. Anyways thank you for your videos. You've helped in many ways
The blessed talisman is one of the best in the game a good tip is when you're climbing a ladder just keep clicking X in it to equip it and unequip it it'll give you 2 HP for every click
geezus, 100+ hours into this game and I'm still finding stuff I haven't seen, I'm already overleveled for Limgrave and Liurnia but I want to explore everything
You missed one. By the three-wise-beast tower there is a second tower. You can get up there from the merchant, by taking the air lift with Torrent while facing to the right/south. There was an ok item up there, but I don't remember what
The Sacrificial Axe I tend to use in those bigger dungeons with slower moving enemies &/or when trying to regain or conserve my FP/MP. It's also OK for those small corners & such. 4 FP/MP per kill don't sound like much, but I heard there's a talisman that gives 3 FP/MP per kill; if they stack that 4 FP/MP per kill now becomes 7.
I wish there was more evergaol's as they provide a good learning experience help you improve your skillset and who doesn't like fighting bosses. Elden Ring far exceeded my expectations and i can't see anything else releasing this year or anytime in the near future that will even come close. I'm rather new to From Soft titles and i can say in all honesty the hype is real.
Thanks for the vid! Regarding the sin mechanic, killing certain npcs locks you out of some quests. For example, killing Irina will lock Hyetta from showing up -- the logic behind this being they're both blind maidens. And if Hyetta doesnt show up, the grapes questline is canceled and therefore one possible ending is also locked. So kill only if you have to, that's my tip :)
The weapon from the death bird gives you fp on kill its about 5 I think, can have it on your off hand or on your back and even without the right stats it still works. Good for magic/faith builds
The sin mechanic is that if you kill a bunch of the merchant and collect their bell bearings, a Bell Hunter will eventually try and kill you. He drops a special reward for defeating him.
Thanks bro. Ive wanted to give up on this game so many times. I know i can do this, videos like yours really are the best. Im a samurai build. Any tips on what i should build towards. Im thinking a bleed build with dual katanas. Idk. Much love homie, god bless!
nice video. thank you. You showed me a few things I missed out on my run. I think you missed three things out. The Great Turtle Shell, a shield with barricade as skill. You get to it on the tower east of the merchant at Castle Mourn Rampart. When taking the jump up, head right, and you can land on the tower. And the Demi-Humans Queen's Staff is in the center of the island. With the dense woods in the northern parts in the Demi-Human Forest Ruins. Inside the ruin is a secluded spot. You have to jump over a wall to get another shield. Nothing great, I think. But the Shield of Guilty has a blood loos build up bonus. But looks also kind of cool.
There is a Jelly fish shield, laying on the ground surround by jellyfish, ppls should look for that as its abilt is to increase ur strength ( for my lvl 59 and enimes iam grinding I get 200dmg increase) doesn't seem like much but adds up when using mixed flask for additional dmg increase as well.
7:52 Not being able to open the Map serves the purpose of you not being able to escape an ongoing fight by teleporting via the Grace icons on the Map, I think 🤕
I like the blessdew talisman specifically for dungeons, not bosses. Taking your time will allow your health to recover in an orderly fashion without always resorting to a flask
you can buy the “no skill” ash from knight benahl at the warmaster’s shack in limgrave for about 800 runes. you can then have that functionality on any shield you want
the blessed dew, for anyone wondering what it actually does, is a talisman that regenerates 2 hp every second. its great for exploration when you arent actively seeking fights or constantly in combat so that any hit you may take you arent wasting flasks just to heal from one hit. the other way it works is that every time you equip it it give you 2 hp so if you have the patience you could completely heal yourself by rapidly equiping and unequiping the talisman, though this becomes very tedious late game as you are at 1000 health and over. the last great use for this is to help slow down the rate at which poison depletes your hp since youll be healing as poison takes away your health. beware though, this doesnt work for scarlet rot since instead of a set damage over time like poison, scarlet rot takes a set percentage of your hp with each tick so it scales with you as you progress.

Yeah I found that too and was wondering why it wasn't on the list. Still plenty on here I missed tho
You can press Map > Y/triangle > X/square to teleport to roundtable hold. No need to hover your cursor to the corner each time
Wait... WHAT?!
Wait really? So I can abandon my dex-int build and go full int if I have this axe in my offhand? I'll go take this deathbird down today.
I just found this out today while running my colossal weapon class. Very useful
Worth mentioning that the demi-human ashes are much stronger at night. The annoying part about that is that it's always morning after you die.
These are always so helpful, thank you for the video.
Easily my favorite Elden Ring area content. Love the clarity and positive vibes
2 years after your post, you are still helping. Thanks.
Blessed Dew Talisman is not at all useless. It’s always going, which means that if you take damage and don’t want to use a flask, you can just let it tick away. Usually this is only good between fights, but if you’re clearing out enemies that don’t pose much threat, or exploring in general, it can really extend the use of your healing pool
i've relied heavily on Lutel the headless! such a beast summons.
I actually love that blessed dew talisman. I play a sorcerer, and at least lower level it makes it so I don't need as many crimson flasks . If I take damage I usually heal it up before I come to another enemy. I'm exploring stormveil castle right now and I almost never need to heal. Totally worth it
You are the most helpful person on UA-cam for this game.. brilliant led out description off the map and the areas we are heading into.. great job sir.
This whole series is without a doubt some of the absolute best content for Elden Ring players of all kinds. Please keep it up!! 😌✊
There's so many amazing hidden things in each area its hard to narrow it down to keep the video from dragging on too long 😂
They nerfed it 😭…
These are really great, thanks for doing them. I am playing completely blind but really taking my time trying to find every little thing. Its super nice once I feel like I have seen all there is to come back and view these to see if there is anything that I missed
in case anyone missed, the sacrificial axe from the deathbird restores fp on kills
It does WHAT NOW?! Brb, gotta slay a bird.
Theres a talisman that does the same too. I don't remember where i got it, but it does the same for a kill you get fp
@@3rdreichball525 WHAT?! That would be even better. Goddamn it, now that I killed that bird it seems I have to go on a Wiki dive...
It's amazing you say the health regen talisman is one of the worst. I think it's one of the best and I've had it almost permanently equipped.
@@flailingweasel8541 yeah right next to the grace site. Just use torrent and leap on up there. That's how I got it anyways.
The recent update put it down to 87% physical negation now. May not be a huge deal for most but it is a decent nerf.
@@walkout85 so it IS the grass Crest shield then lol.
The sacrificial axe is actually really good. If you put it in offhand and two hand your main weapon then you still get the 4 fp/kill letting you do more weapon skills while exploring.
I run a frost mace and magma wyrm greatsword that wrecks enemies AND my FP meter, this tip is awesome.
The Axe that the Deathbird of Tip 2 Drops is actually a Must have if youre playing a Caster Build
the axe restores FP every time you kill an enemy as long as it is in your off hand even if youre actually 2-handing your main weapon
Tnx man. Your videos helped me a lot.. I always watch them when I think I finished an area. Than you show me that I did not really finished it and I’ll go an pick them things up I’ll missed. This game is huge and it’s so easy to miss things
5:31 I thought the same thing & Definitely felt that annoyance in your voice😂
Heads for new players the shield bonus tip is probably the best medium shield for low weight early to mid game. 100% recommended.
I know I'm literally late to the game, but I just started playing Elden Ring last month so this video is very helpful!
These guides have earned a sub from me. Honestly, I’m surprised you don’t have more subs. I’m sure that that will come
U can kill the merchants without requiring absolution, they drop bell bearings that u can give to the twins and when u go to the statue in the Church of Vows and u have Celestial Dew, it'll say you don't need absolution
Dude I immediatly loved your videos. Gentle voice and a little bit funny from time to time. Keep it up!
Absolutely loving these videos. For a From Soft n00b like me they are a great way of experiencing more than I would otherwise be able to. Great work!
Subscribed.
Amazing series!!! Tons of guides and tips videos out there but yours is the best by far IMHO.
Neat tip. The ugly statues in the area, when examined they point you towards the location of a catacomb
8:00 Map is locked when enemies are near to prevent teleporting out of combat.
Could've just prevented fast travel while in combat
These videos have been great, really helpful!
(Ps, “Gaol” is pronounced “Jail”, it’s an old English thing)
Bruh, how do you only have 19k subs. Nice voice over and straight to the point.
These are incredibly helpful and I don't leave an area, or enter a new area, without first referencing your videos.
Not much to explore
What if she gets killed while you're trying to bring the letter to her father?
@@joshualinse9000
As long as you dont kill her, it should be fine.
He drops a special reward for defeating him.
those guys show up at merchants’ shacks at night anyway... are you sure that isn’t what is going on?
Thanks bro. Ive wanted to give up on this game so many times. I know i can do this, videos like yours really are the best. Im a samurai build. Any tips on what i should build towards. Im thinking a bleed build with dual katanas. Idk. Much love homie, god bless!
If you shoot crystal darts at the watchdog(cat) & the little imps, they'll turn on each other after you hit them with a few.
Have you done a capital and sewer guide? If not that would be really handy because it is huge. Thanks!! Love the videos
nice video.
Great content mate. I see that your channel hasn't done too much elden ring content yet. Just subbed and hoping to see more soon. Greatly informative!
When I heard your plug, I knew I had to subscribe...
I really like this guy.
Got all the secrets in weeping peninsula but I like listening to his voice 😊
the bonus tip is the only one I didn't know I'd add that after you kill the boss around the erdtree...follow the singing voice ;)
That shield from the bonus tip is cool, it allows you to use your ash of war from your weapon while 1 handing with your shield out
you can buy the “no skill” ash from knight benahl at the warmaster’s shack in limgrave for about 800 runes. you can then have that functionality on any shield you want
excellent guides you make. thanks!
Omg! Had not considered putting flasks on shortcuts! Definition of "youre playing it wrong"!!!
the blessed dew, for anyone wondering what it actually does, is a talisman that regenerates 2 hp every second. its great for exploration when you arent actively seeking fights or constantly in combat so that any hit you may take you arent wasting flasks just to heal from one hit. the other way it works is that every time you equip it it give you 2 hp so if you have the patience you could completely heal yourself by rapidly equiping and unequiping the talisman, though this becomes very tedious late game as you are at 1000 health and over. the last great use for this is to help slow down the rate at which poison depletes your hp since youll be healing as poison takes away your health. beware though, this doesnt work for scarlet rot since instead of a set damage over time like poison, scarlet rot takes a set percentage of your hp with each tick so it scales with you as you progress.
Subbed thank you for the tips mate ;) I’m already level 80 but I’m still going to go back and do some stuff u mentioned typically killing those night enemies :) Waiting for the next area missable stuff ;)
Here u goooo!! Nobody talks about how useful lanturns are! Instead of weilding torches there u go lanterns!
yeah they really should let you open the map during combat just block warping to graces. There were so many instances I wanted to check the map but I couldn't because I was apparently in combat riding around on Torrent
Love the things you missed videos; just fantastic!
I knew i missed a lot of areas and stuff, thanks for this!
Hey that Sacrificial Axe is really good for caster builds to recover FP
