Sharing my custom Terry McGuiness Batman Beyond, using a Mcfarlane figure. I purchased a portrait 3D printed off eBay and painted it to complete the project. Removed the wings and painted the outside black. Some said the head is too small, the video proves its not. I just an optical illusion from the angle the video is taken. The head is the same size as the original head. These custom heads need to be set on the neck area to wrap around it not just sit on top of it. If left just at the neck height it will look disproportionate .

I don't think there's anything wrong with the head size, it's how it sits on the neck. Way too high, makes him look like he has a giraffe neck. It probably isn't even the neck itself, just the peg and how the head sits on it. But as always you really bring out the best in these mcfarlane figures
Yes , I see it ... it just needs a bit more room for the peg to set it lower ... the head needs to wrap around the neck ...

The Terry head might not be too small but it’s definitely sitting a little high. Still looks great though. 👍

@@InkDropCustomshow did you fix it? i got myself the mattel dc multiverse heads and i wanna plop them onto the mcfarlane figure but they sit too high as well

The problem isn't that the head is too small imo. It's sitting very high on the neck; the neck is ver long. That's maybe a shortcoming of th e execution of the figure itself, but otherwise it's a fantastic figure. Can't wait to get mine!
It’s all fixed now - I just drilled out the head more ....

Great job! AFC has the best heads on eBay in my opinion. Very good casting. I was going to add a Terry head to the cart but, knowing Todd, we will get an unmasked sooner than later lol. Save the effort and it would cost the same or more anyway.
I’m sure we will get one if he continues to reuse the mold .... but it’s all about enjoying the hobby .. kinda takes away the fun if it’s already done for you...
Oh oh for clearcoat/topcoat I recommend Mr. Hobby Mr. Super Clear Uv cut it's durable and protects your figures and model kits from yellowing and also Insert Batman beyond Theme.

Awesome video!¡! I don't think the head is to small....I just think it sits to high on the neck.... modify the neck or dremel out the head so that it sits lower.....👍💀

I would love to paint the wings black as well but I've never own nor use a air brush.. Great job I don't know if I could do all that work but I like to try it when I get the replacement headbi ordered on ebay
There some all in one airbrush combination available for $60 .. they’re really good for hobby painting..

Heat with hairdryer…. Twist and tug …. Comes off

Best place is Michael’s… more variety… plus you’ll find resin and other craft products… CVS , Walgreens is not gonna provide what you need

It's not the front of the head it's the sides and the back that make him look small.

You're the first person I've ever seen actually use testors for a project. I aoways assumed it was one of those companies like mattress stores. They just put stuff out as a front for shady stuff. But I guess not.
I’ve Testors paint for years .. if that’s what you’re referring to…. As far figures to test out new methods, yes , I do that also…
@@InkDropCustoms testors paint yes. Never liked it myself in my 2 times using it. Has a weird consistency
its like anything else you just need to find out how it works , now using Vallejo, its has totally different properties..but works just fine... I also use craft paints.... same thing.... the mix different and adhiere different ... but work well for dioramas and large needs of areas to paint..
