This is one of my first videos showing the customization . I tried to keep it as simple as possible, in the end I tried new products to achieve the desired look.
I started by applying graphite powder to the figure
I then added back in the highlights with silver using a dry brush effect
I then added blue to pick highlights on dark areas like the cape.
So I was not happy until I view the Hot Toys version. I realized then that I needed a chrome paint.
So unfortunately it was like starting all over again. I sealed te prior work en matte finish clear coat and started applying the chrome paint. Although it looks good here, I will not use this brand again. It rubs off even with a sealant. I will use a cad aluminum next time. The figure looks more like the Hot Toys version now. Much happier. The portrait was one of first paintings and looks ok.. The work looks better now..I may do an update to this figure in the future.
Silver dry brush was also applied to the accessories
All work was sealed with Model Masters semi-gloss clear coat.

That’s amazing ! Thank you for the tips
May I ask what head sow did you use for this figure ?
I purchased on eBay 3 years ago… I don’t remember the seller
I completely cut off his cape and made a felt one it’s so much better and I never plan on selling
Awesome, cloth capes really make a difference..
I haven’t sold mine either
Excellent work 💪
Thanks
Did you use any lacquer to protect the surface?
I used a thin coat of tamiya x/22
This was a long time ago- i dont have the figure anymore
Good stuff :D

@@InkDropCustoms Much appreciation , love your customization vids :)
Thanks
Thanks for watching
So the sealing part after using the graphite, did you use a spray based sealant or used brush to apply it?
Amazing work!
Thanks ... more to share later
Not switching this one out for cloth?
Already did- video coming soon ...
@@InkDropCustoms aaaah great. Was waiting to see how much of the shoulders you covered with your cape.
@@elmatasesues3630 I bought off eBay ... it’s really nice - will share this week
DO YOU WET YOUR GRAPHITE BEFORE YOU APPLY IT TO YOUR CSTOMS?
No - I apply it dry … it would turn to a paste if I use water - dry takes less -- I then seal it with semi gloss clear coat
Great work. Did something similar to my arkham batman with an acrylic paint.
I really like the final look, very nice 👍🏼. Did you apply the gloss after the graphite and then dry brushing?
Yes - sealed before drybrush
@@InkDropCustoms Thank you🙏🏼
I know it is pretty randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to watch new tv shows online?
@Brayden Bjorn I would suggest FlixZone. Just search on google for it =)

What brand and shades of paint did you use for the Bruce Wayne head? Also what size brushes did you use for the Eyes and Eyebrows?
For the face sculpt I used testors paint for the color wash of - blue - yellow - reds/ brown - the layer on top is a thin coat of Apple craft paint -- $1.50 a bottle ... th rest of the details like hair- eyes are Testors paint - sealed with a ModelMasters matte clear coat
@@InkDropCustoms Awesome. I'm currently working on a Arkham series Bruce Wayne but with training gear on
Helps to use magnifying lens to paint the eyes correctly... lots of practice
