Adam, congratulations on your "new" lens! It was cool watching you clean it up and get it ready for making photos with Winston. I'm excited to see the results when you take it out for a spin.
A lovely lens indeed. I don’t own this 19”, but do own a quartet of so called ‘red dot’ Goertz APO Artars barrel lenses in 16.5”, 24”, 35” & 42”. I have a feeling you’ll enjoy this lens.
Wow. What an incredible set indeed. This one isn't a red dot but I assume the only difference would be the elements are uncoated? I can't wait to try this lens out now especially after your comment!
Ah, thanks so much for that information. I had read the "red dot" versions were made between 53' and 64' but could find any documentation for the production of the non-coated. When you have a moment, if you can point me towards any more information on these uncoated Artars I'd really appreciate it.

My friend, I'm literally insitu on this progression. I figure you'll get a kick out of the last stories over on Insta.
Thanks for the video. Please share some photos made with it in the future.
Gorgeous.

@@AdamWelch Yes, yours is uncoated, pre-WWII. Made between 1927-1937. Coated Artars started in 1953.

great video. what camera did you use for recording?
I THINK it was my Sony A7R MK3 and Sigma 24mm F1.4 Art.
Hello, where did you find this additional screw?
Sorry Rodrigo it's been a while since I filmed this. Could you send me a timestamp for the portion you're mentioning please?
A Schneider Kreuznach G Claron beats theis lens anytime.
Is that the lens you use?
@@AdamWelch :G Claron is my favorite portrait lens on 9x12
Oh very nice. Have you shot with the 19" Goerz?
