i have a feeling the movie is 25fps (european standard) whereas your video would be 24fps (american). this would explain all your trouble. it would play your video fast or the movie slow to make them match framerates.
.... wow you might be right! I just looked in Quicktime on the movie rip and it says 25fps, maybe it clashed with my 24fps live footage. Monster Dog was 23.98fps and that caused zero trouble. Finally someone who offered an insightful explanation months later!
Fuck that damn shit. That's why I don't bother editing my videos.

That's a killer pick. Personally I might say either "A Perfect Vision of the Rising Northland" or "As Flittermince as Satan's Spys" but that's just me.

Tony, I had the same problem with Copywrite protection..
A long time ago, I bought a cd ( the band will go unnnamed ) there was so much copywrite protection on the cd..that my cd deck wouldn't play it!...
So,I had to take the cd back to the record store for a full refund !

When I heard about this movie I thought it was going to be boring and looked for the trailer I saw your review and gave it a try. I still think it´s kinda boring but at least I had a good time watching your videos. these are better than the actual movie. I´ll continue watching the other ones.

There's a computer software program called Any Video Converter Professional. It can convert video files to DVD file format of MPEG in both NTSC and PAL (no SECAM though). Would that suit your purpose?

if you're looking for a new editing program, Sony Vegas is incredible, but pretty expensive, to maximize the quality of the videos that's what you want

There is a reason why Sony Vegas is not a professional program. If you wanna good editing software that it actually professional, use Adobe Premiere or AVID.
Hey anyone still interested in buying a physical dvd (not blue ray )that works in U.S. players go on ebay there is a seller from south korea. it has english subtitles as well and have ordered one myself, received it in the mail and test played it and it checked all marks. Only a few left as far as i can tell.

It is a great movie I'm in the uk and imported it from Germany but did find an awesome mediabook version which had bluray, dvd and the soundtrack so pretty happy about that but yeah fucking region codes are annoying.

I live on a small island in Canada, overpriced is natural because of tax and looking for death shirts is impossible because you'd never find one outside of the internet and because I can only shop on amazon Canada I had to weave through a bunch of edgy ffdp shirts. And the one place I do like to find band t shirts sold out of all the cool shirts by the time I got enough money to buy one I had to get a crappy bootleg looking lamb of god shirt rather than the pure American metal shirt I was eyeing. Also who knew immortal shirts sold fast in Canada, they had an immortal shirt there and I immediately took notice and the next week it was gone.
So yeah, I know the frustration
