+CretaceousTheHunted It wasn't Industrial Light and Magic in Jurassic World, but what was left of it with only a handful of people who actually worked on the past films
In my opinion JP3 wasn't that bad, even though they rushed the movie and changed a lot from the other two, but its a JP movie at least, just imagine that the last JP movie came out 14 years ago and we were waiting for a third movie, i couldn't wait that long
Cool, kinda wish they showed how they made all the other CGI and ILM animations for the movie, like the Spinosaurus snapping the T-Rex's neck animation
The CG in JPIII really pales in comparison to the first. I think it really shows how the new digital animators took over, and the stop motion animators weren't involved. Almost too much animation.
They were testing the new (at the time) muscle tech. Everything was a little too jiggly. The shot with the brachiosaurs, they look like they're made of jell-o.
I would disagree, the lighting was always slightly off in the first, as a VFX artist I could barely tell the difference from animation to animatronic in JP3. On the animation side, it wasn't that they didn't have stop motion animators. They just didn't have the BEST stop motion animator
I honestly believe the animation in this film is beautiful, you look at scenes like the Spinosaurus and T.rex going at it and it just looks like two muscular behemoths throwing down with everything they've got, it looks impressive and convincing imho
There is color grading being used. More of a mix between greens and blues in some scenes than when JW used only one throughout. (JWFK actually fixed that issue.)
Its funny these raptors look more realistic than the ones in Jurassic World ahhaha
Pff by far!!! Because in some way these are real, the ones from JW are all CGI
Yeah, without at least one animatronic or model onset the vfx artists can't create real-looking dinosuars
Industrial Light and Magic did an amazing job on this film and the rest of the Jurassic Park Films, even Jurassic World.

The Jurassic Park Collection Oh. But i watched the industrial Light and magic channel saying that they did Jurassic World.
Oddly enough, JW was the weakest of all films in terms of both story execution and vfx.

This reel was one of my favorite things to watch on DVD as a kid.
The BEST visual effects in all of Jurassic movies. Fight me.
This is when they first implemented muscles into the dinosaurs iirc, so in that respect they do look a bit better
No. Original still reigns supreme.
Hardly. The texture work nowadays looks like it fits with a 2004 game.
@@TyrannoWright I mean it's a 2001 movie, obviously it's not going to look like a movie from nowadays.
@@ASR-Ansori I mean you can clearly see the texture displacement, at least, compared to TLW and JP's dinos looking like they were normal-mapped.

John Williams score-bravo😊
The effects were actually pretty good in this film. I just wished the story was a bit better.

They actually nailed it with the raptor
Wow thats a little bit of an extended shot when the spino grabes the rex. nice
+Stephen Levequr Yeah :) too bad we haven't found any footage from when the spino broke the rex animatronic
Personally, I think JP3 is the best of the JP sequels, but still, nothing can top the first movie.
I thought the velociraptors in Jurassic park 3 were animatronics or were some scenes in cgi

Objectively speaking no the JP3 animation and CGI is superior to the first movie

Uuuuuu
To be fair, i really hope jurassic world makes up for that god awful JPIII
tucker1012 I really hope that too! Even better let's pretend JP3 doesn't exist :)
Hey I like jp3 it was a good movie
now, people would realize how JP3 was better than JW :))

My biggest problem is the color grade, looks so stupid
Antoniozilla. There is no color grade with this 😂
Thats jw and jwfk
