Letoya I just wished it had turned out differently. Interestingly this group is the most successful of the six. The pairing of LeToya, Kelly, and Beyonce just made sense.
I love, love, love LaTavia but if this was DC3, I wouldn't be mad at all. These 3 has a better blend than DC3 with Michelle. Its no shade to Michelle it's just the truth.
LeToya just had the right fit and swag to carry herself in a DC3 line up. Look how she lead effortlessly. Michelle definitely did her thing and is a amazing vocalist but Toya fits like a glove and her writing is strong also. She's never nit executed when they do choreography, so she definitely would have ate that up.
They have not reunited and there was no sisterhood between them Latoya and latavia got done wrong and was treated differently than Kelly and Beyonce. Beyonce has shaded them so many times in the past. Wtf kinda sisterhood is that? Latoya is still traumatized til this day and she talked about that clearly in an interview

@@AndrewThomas18I think that they have put it all behind them in order to move on and grow but LaToya has spoken about the unfairness of what occurred and how the narrative that Beyonce was saying was not accurate. I know that deep inside that they felt that Beyonce was at times rude in interviews about it but at the end of the day they were all young and it was really Matthews fault so they just put it behind them. It's the correct thing to say and do.

The fact that the group went thru so many changes shortly after this interview….. you can kinda feel the shift happening. I think this was the straw that broke the camels back for Letoya and latavia. The way Mathew disregarded how sick Latavia was really woke things up. He still wanted her to work.
But the thing is Beyoncé and Kelly was sick before and they still worked regardless Matthew disciplined those girls and all of them are successful in life they might not be on Beyoncé level not even close but that her foundation and they still make movies in the industry

I remember when they came to perform here in the Bay Area about a year before this interview and Kelly had to sing all of Beyoncé’s parts because Beyoncé couldn’t perform (I think she was sick). Matthew, while brilliant, was also ruthless when it came to the members he felt didn’t contribute as much as his daughter and Kelly. All 3 of the removed members have said that they were made to feel that they should “just be lucky to be there” and he did not care what they were going thru he expected them to perform. Kinda shady honestly but that was on him.
I don't think back then, Beyonce likes being referred to as a mother figure. She probably felt some kind of pressure of being put on a pedestal and showing strong leadership as a kid. I felt the same way with my brothers
