I really feel like Mathew Knowles had a plan for his daughter since day one. He studied how Michael Jackson, Patti Labelle, Diana Ross, and etc all did wat they did to have longevity which was put Beyoncé in the front of all songs and performances which is crazy because a “group” means everyone plays a part collectively and equally which is never the case. And when he realized his daughter Beyoncé was ready as a solo artist he got rid of Kelly and Michelle. Didn’t promote them or their projects properly all because when Kelly and Michelle released their projects after he broke the group up he realized Beyoncé didn’t know wat she want to do or didn’t have a musical sound. Remember it took Beyoncé a while to find her own sound outside of Destiny’s Child so much so that when they broke up she released a few songs but they didn’t chart so she went onto acting then released her first music video/ song which was also bad call “work it out”. The song was so bad that when it released as a new joint on the back then popular show “106 and park” that they ask audience response and the responses were “ yea I’m not feeling it”. It wasn’t until she got with Jayz that her career started kicking off.

She didn't hog anything. She was always clearly the breakout star of the group from the beginning. Destiny's Child was never going to have the level success that she had as a solo career.

DC broke up in 2006. Since then, she did B'Day, Sasha Fierce, 4 and her self-titled album before Lemonade. She also did Pink Panther, Dreamgirls, Cadillac Records and Epic. But who's counting? Certainly not you. And you do realize she did about 20 music videos for those albums, not to mention world tours.
