Her voice naturally sits at the top but it’s obviously way too powerful for the blend/sound they want a lot of the time.
Hey voice wasn’t more powerful though it was just the warmest but darkest and was a great sandwich for Beyonce’s warm but bright and Kelly’s warm but sweet tones.

Thanks for watching. Actually, Michelle is singing the middle in the second video. Just compare the second video middle note to the third one for both Beyonce and Michelle and you will hear the difference.

Farrah took soprano with DC4(2) and the reason why she got kicked out of the group because she stood out like a sore thumb.. one thing about to Beyonce you know she has a crazy ear and if that was Michelle she did have been out.. Michelle knew her strengths.. they have very similar tones but the difference was DC3 had an ear to blend vs dc4(2) thats why the harmony got progressively better once farrah left.. you can look at any video Beyonce wad always correcting her. That’s why most of the studio albums were recorded by her and kelly because they understood the sound they were going for.. kelly sounds best at the top(because her voice is light and similar to bey) bey with the melody(because the brand was catered to her and she did most of the arranging) and Michelle with the lower harmony notes(because she was the support).. they all played their roles and were magnificent..

The original dc harmony far better
That’s Farrah yelling that is NOT Michelle in the beginning. She’s trying to oversing beyonce and she sounds a mess and it off pitch why would everyone be singing that low. Beyonce doesn’t yell over the group they mesh so you can hear tones, like swv notice when wyclef is there with no Farrah you hear more kelly on “ain’t callin me baby” they know tones ‼️

The first video is Michelle singing the top harmony lol
The first clip is very distinctively Michelle, and shes not off key or pitch. She is singing the exact same as LeToya sang her original harmony; the difference lies in technique. Michelle is belting in full chest hence why it is not blending so well with the rest of the quartet and stands out, whereas LeToya sang that originally in a head/chest mix which made for better blending and a softer approach as opposed to powerful like Michelle's.
