seriously! Gojira is one of the best live performances I've ever seen - they're incredible musicians who can deliver music like it's in a studio while live
These guys are old time Metal royalty. I think they've been grinding it out for about twenty years now. They seem to know what they're doing. Their drummer is a GOD.
There is something about Gojira that makes me know that I’m listening to one of their songs. Like, I could have never heard the song, but the opening guitar riffs and I’m like “yeah, that’s Gojira.” Their tone is specifically unique to them. There is no question who you are listening to when one of their songs come on. Great video!
Gojira is probably my favorite band, and this song have a particular flavor to me. As my wife was painfully giving birth, after 19h of work, doctors pushed me out from the room as they had to do quickly a cesarean, they baby started to get tired apparently... It happened so fast, I didn't really understood what was happening, neither did my wife. In 20 seconds I just ended up alone in a room waiting for news from a nurse. I took my earphones, choosed the first Gojira song I found and played this song super loud again and again, trying to contain fear and not to think too much about what was going on, and about the fact that I can do nothing to help, until someone finally asked me to come. Things ended well, now my daughter is almost 2 YO, healthy and happy, and everytime I listen to this song I think about this day. I'm happy that you enjoyed this song too ;-) Cheers from France !
Oh the disrespect... LOL There is no "processing" on Joe's voice. It's a vocal technique. Also, if Joey looks like Jean Michel- Joey is fine as hell!!! :0)

@@FlipperWolf Not really, thats not autotune, Joe has a lot of control in his pitch while screaming, he is a really talented vocalist although due to his unique technique and effort he puts into live shows, sometimes during shows late in the tour his voice cracks or he struggles to get higher notes cause his throat is just exhausted. If this one was autotuned or polished it would be perfect, but its not, there are slight imperfections here and there still
Good pick, Gojira is one the best modern metal band... if not the best in last 20 years!!! There is much more to discover, and sound production on this show at Redrocks 2017 is epic, also recommend Polandrock 2018 show to react!

I would love a reaction to Seventh Wonder from their live in Atlanta show (the song Welcome to Mercy Falls is a great place to start, but every song is phenomenal). Also Katatonia with their song Forsaker, either album version or live version from the DVD Last Fair Day Gone Night, both are awesome. That song is a great intro to know what they're all about, and I am ADDICTED to their new album
