I'm 45 yrs old, and was there in the 80's from the start of heavy, thrash, punk, death metal, I just got turned in to GOJIRA a few months ago, and I'm FUCKING BLOWN, went straight out to get GOJIRA records...there are NO BAD SONGS,,,INCREDIBLE

these are just a few. I can confidently say Gojira is one of the few bands that you can go through their whole catalog and not ever be disappointed. *GOJIRA LIVES FOREVER!*

Gojira is amazing.I actually found out about them back in September. I was at a Devin Townsend concert and saw about 20 people wearing their shirts and was like "I gotta check these guys out". Glad I did haha.
I love Devin and SYL, I am french and don't really listen Gojira even if it's a good band.

Gojira is a French band playing for a while now. They have been spotted by Metallica themselves and you can see them before most Metallica concerts. They really support environmental causes, as the lyrics of most of their songs highlights, and they give a lot of their time to WWF and associations like that.
It's French so pronounced with a smooth "j" (the first name of the band was Godzilla). Listen to Stranded, that song is awesome. And if you have the chance to see them live, go for it, they are largely regarded as one of the best live bands on the metal field right now. I got to see them this year and man that was loud.
By the way, your videos are really cool, but as far as I'm concerned I'd like to have a small recap of the band you are listening to, to go a bit further and to really discover them. And maaaan I love your accent !

All of Gojiras music is my favorite. All of their albums have their own identities but the trademark sound. Gojira is Japanese for Godzilla. The lead singer and drummer are brothers. Theyhave been around for quite awhile but were kind of hard to find on mainstream radio here in the states. Our radio station here in Colorado Springs just recently started playing them, took long enough. Gojira is from france and L'Enfant sauvage stands for wild child in French.

Gojira is from France. They've always had "close to nature" themed lyrics, dealing the issues of people defiling the Earth and how we don't respect what we have here. They made and EP with other metal musicians (Randy Blythe [Lamb Of God], Devin Townsend, Fredrik Thordendal [Meshuggah] etc.) and the profit of the EP was going to Sea Shepherd anti-whaling organization. Although the hard drive it was on crashed, so it's not released as what i know of it. But there is a song called "Of Blood and Salt" featuring Devin and Fredrik, on UA-cam which was going on the EP.
Also, the drummer and the vocalist of Gojira are brothers.

Hey, new subscriber! Jinjer is of course my fav, that's how i found you, but check out a band called Wolves at the Gate, song is called Dead man. Very powerful video and great vocals and instrumentals. Also the song Slaves by them is great as well as the video.
The girl in the video is the drummer and singer's sister and I believe her and Mario ( drummer ) do all of these artsy style videos of theirs.

I see you were just getting into Gojira back in June of 2017. I'm just curious if you are now a full blown Gojira believer. You pump me up with your enthusiasm for this band. I feel the same way as you do with Gojira's music. I thought there could never be anything heavier than Meshuggah. Then I found Gojira! :)
