I'm late to this lol. I'm on the snowflakes, but from row 4 onwards, I find I'm 2 stitches short of my markers. I've undone it about 6 times 😬. As much as I like it, I'm ready to give upb😒

The pattern states that the gingerbread people pattern has 40 rows but, the chart only goes to row 39. What am I missing?

I had the same problem. I started doing the bobble row after the gingerbread section and the bobbles were facing toward the wrong side of the blanket. I knew there must be a skipped row somewhere, so I endlessly re-counted every row of the blanket done so far. Every time was the same as the pattern. FINALLY, I realized what you already knew. Pattern says 40 rows for gingerbread, chart shows 39. I figured the chart left out Row 40 - cream. Soooooooo, after ripping out about 8 rows and adding a final cream row to the chart section, I am back on track (after several hours!) I know your comment is from a long while ago, but hopefully you came to the same conclusion. I haven't found anywhere any notes of pattern fixes.

I'm having a hard time with the snowflakes section. My count is off by one and the count of the chart matches my work, do not know where I'm going wrong and my yarns keeps getting intertwined. Any tips?

Me too, I'm always a couple of stitches short of my markers. Usually from row 4. I've undone it several times, despite always counting my stitches, as I go along, I'm still ending up short of the markers. I'm ready to give up 🙄
