I've had tinitus for years but recently it got so loud I thought I was going crazy so I went to the local er at the hospital. While I was there they did a cat scan and admitted me over night through the night I couldn't sleep and the nurse would bring different things to try to get me some sleep due to the ringing in my ears finally around 1:30 am she brought me a small pill and I woke up at almost 11am the next morning and I noticed the ringing was down to almost nothing. Well I asked the nurse what did you give me because the ringing in my ear was almost barely noticeable and she said I gave you hydroxyzine and I told her that it has given me more relief then I've had in years. Well long story short I take 1 25mg tablet at night before bed when I need it and it as changed everything I now can sleep and I barley hear the ringing anymore.

This is amazing, Tyrone reacted to one of my videos too. I have somatic Tinnitus and it got worse with my TMJ from clenching teeth in sleep. I hope a chiropractor can help
Two years here. I’ve been doing some exercises for it, and I believe they have helped me. But simply not giving attention to the ringing I think is the most important thing. Mine I’d say is about 1 or 2 in a scale of 1-10. But I barely notice it because I don’t give attention to it, almost like it’s not there. Lately I started avoiding junk food (to loose some weight), you know, fast food, coke, chips, and I’ve noticed that it’s even lower.

@ With a combination of going to the chiropractor for about 4 months and strengthening my neck, it did help. I still have tinnitus but it is much more manageable. I was at a concert last month and it was loud, and was also headbanging like crazy, because I haven't been to a gig in a while. So I headbanged like it was my last. Who would have thought ever since that day I would have really bad Tinnitus that I would have thoughts of doing something bad. Wasn't, too. I saw a video on Somatic Tinnitus that I am 100% the Tinnitus is due because my back and neck issues came on after the gig. And I have had a hunchback for a while. So I booked chiropractor/physiotherapist for next week, I've tired acupuncture, that doesn't seem to work. I'm hopefully it will go right down when we find me issue. Thanks for video. Might try hypnotherapy as well.

When I lock my hands behind my head and pull forward while using neck muscles to resist the pull my tinnitus gets stronger then when I let go its less than it was. I should start doing neck exercises I guess. I also have an issue with my tympanic muscle that has gotten better as I'm retiring. Anticipation of noise can cause it to react to reduce the sound resulting in a loss of certain frequencies and a general deadening of noise. Just the fact that my tinnitus is not constant says that its not independent of factors that can be modified.
Chiropractor made my tinitus 10 times worse, it was biggest mistake of my life, so here is my story about it... My pulsing tinitus was 10/10 so i get in work right away, i quit smoking weed and cigarettes in literally few days , start fasting, healthy food, fresh squized juices every day, long walks with my dog every day 10 kilometres, eating walnuts and almonds , ginnko and b12 two times a day and only after 3 week of that routine my tinnitus was from scale 10/10 gets to 1/10 i was barely able to hear it, was going into quiet room few times a day to hear is it still there, no need for tv on every night before sleep and white noise and Chiropractor ruined all that effort in one treatment, he was the best Chiro in state, best reviews and expensive.. Now one month after chiropractor mistake i feel much better, did MRI,MRA and MRV of my head and neck also with audiometry and tympanometry at my ENT doctor, also did a neurologist exam and everything is perfectly fine but still have wooshing in my ears. When i keep myself busy during the day i dont hear nothing my tinitus is Zero, but at night before i lay down it getting stronger, sometimes i sleep with TV ON and when im not i take lorazepam for sleep and it helps me so much to have quality sleep for 8-9 hrs, and after i wake up i dont hear wooshing for next few hrs. Also i pray to God a lot and it helps my mental and spiritual condition, if God’s and praying dont help no1 does.

Hello my name is Tristen. I’ve been suffering from tinnitus (that came along with my ear constantly feeling full) for a year now. I’ve done many things to get rid of it but to no avail. I eventually went to the neurologist. They determined that there’s fluid in my cochlea. So way in the inner ear area. Would cupping therapy be the best option to suck the unwanted fluid out of that area?

My tinnitus started after I cracked a tooth on my upper right. I mean I shattered it with a tootsie roll. It didn't hurt at all. Got the tooth fixed and then the tinnitus started. It is loud and sounds like a dial-up modem or a fax machine. My hearing is normal, except when there is background noise. It is very high pitched and sounds like several extremely high notes. The notes can suddenly get louder and change, but it is never gone. I am watching some videos about upper cervical chiropractic. I want to give that a try. I tried a white noise machine once and didn't hear my alarm for work. Was so embarrassed. People just don't understand.
@@lianagilbert61 Hi yes my tinnituis started 8 weeks after crack was filled but it was so quiet it did not bother me.It was not somatic though.Since I knocked chin after wards it changed to somatic.I had CT temper all bone scan on head and neck .my neck is fine.Have you got a problem with neck as you going to see chiropractor.?It’s weird I don’t have no pain in jaw or neck
@@elainerose2136 Yes, I have neck pain. Not all the time. I do see a chiropractor about once or twice a month, mostly for my back.

I've had "normal" tinnitus since I was 13 after a traffic accident. But recently (I'm now 35) I've been affected by somatic tinnitus upon my usual tinnitus, which is hell ... It started after hitting my head pretty bad, during moving furniture. What do you suggest I try? Biomechanical craniosacral therapy?

How are you now?
@@Berte_1 Pretty much the same. But thanks for asking 🙏
@@Draagreon A traffic accident would cause somatic tinnitus, how can you get the same type of tinnitus twice? what does double tinnitus sound like?
@@SerpWerx I didn't elaborate. The traffic accident resulted in a huge sound "explosion", bursting my eardrums.
Wish mine was a 1 or 2 lol . 6 or 7 is much harder to deal with
Sorry to hear that, Vincent. :(
Thanks......Heading over to sub his channel!!
Would cupping therapy be the best option to suck the unwanted fluid out of that area?
lol, that would rip your inner ear out. You would need to get the fluid removed by other means.
Hi Ben, I recently began having Tinnitus due to stress and anxiety. My doctor prescribed me CBD oil for the anxiety. Do you think it could help me or make things worse?
Hi Amrita, we have a blog article dedicated to this subject. Check it out here: treblehealth.com/cbd-and-tinnitus/
It is worthless
well that is encouraging
Ive had imaging and seen multiple doctors. I started noticing if I move my neck and stretch jaw open it changes pitch. Is this somatic? And what do you suggest?

Anyone else where a dental splint for tmj?
wOOOOOOOOOOO TYRONE magnus
What's the stretch he did?
This is an excellent example of the danger of anecdotal evidence and the placebo effect. His experience represents badly uncontrolled experimentation and the fact that correlation doesn't equal causation. Your motives are probably good, but this kind of information is insidious and dangerous. It's irresposible of you to put this out.

I dont buy it. Mine is bad from noise
There are 2 or 3 different types(Causes) of tinnitus
So apparently it wasn't due to any brain circulation, tumor, etc.?
Seems flaky to me. But I hope I am wrong. Have a nice day.
this is a 1/1000 story that you are milking. we are suffering. this isnt helping
Isn't it time that big pharma find a cure for tinitus.
