I currently ride a 2022 honda goldwing. To say it’s made for touring is an understatement. I rode from Milwaukee back to Dallas in one day with no effort. It likes to put down the miles very easily. I’m using it to go from Dallas up to Alaska this summer and I’ll make videos to show my journey.
I spent nearly a year in the US, touring on my BMW K1200LT. Riding distances like from Milwaukee to Dallas was a breeze as the freeway traffic in a lot of cases is far less stressful than here in Europe.
Damn that’s wild! I live near SF and my longest ride was down to LA and back this past October 25th-26th But man I was so uncomfortable on my saddleman seat 👎🏼👎🏼
I own a 2020 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited in Scorched Orange and Flux Metal Gray paint along with the Blacked Out option. Every option available, including traction control and Sirius XM radio and the Boom Audio amp and Boom Stage II speakers. Last I calculated, I have $39,000 invested in this bike. I perform all my maintenance and upgrades myself. If the dealer performed the work, I would be pushing $45,000. It is the most expensive transportation I have ever bought new until I bought my wife a 2021 Toyota 4Runner Limited, used. The CVO edition Harley Davidson Ultra Limited would have been in the price range similar to the CVO Road Glide. $56,000! Very very nice bike, but HELL NO! It's way too expensive! A friend of mine bought a 2012 CVO Street Glide brand new back then for $32,000. I thought he was nutty as fruit cake. They are nice, but way too expensive. I bought a brand new, back in the day, a 2002 Honda Goldwing with ABS and the Illusion Blue paint option for $20,000. If the $25,000 pricing is correct on a 2023 Goldwing, that's a steal! Considering the increases in prices of everything, the 2023 Goldwing price has not kept up with in increases of inflation. It's most likely one of the reasons Goldwing is the #1 selling tour bike in the world. The Goldwing offers a lot of bang for the bucks.
This is the perfect video for this challenge. For years I have wondered this. Let's use these bikes. Here's the challenge. Take each bike, ride them together at the same time from Miami Florida to Anchorage Alaska. Same time, same road, same weather, same everything. Excluding flat tires. Now which one will need maintenance? If a tool touches the bike,, log it. Which bike will need the least or NO maintenance? I bet the Honda Goldwing will win. I own a wonderful Harley Davidson Electra Glide but I think the Goldwing is a better low maintenance bike. Dare I say overall a better bike? Dang, I didnt know Kawasaki and Yamaha made a touring bike! I've had several Yamahas. I still think the Honda Goldwing is the best. What say you?
I'm so glad to see this video caught your attention. I'm totally agree with you honda goldwing is a great bike with a lot of updated features and affordable price. I haven't ridden this amazing bike 😅 but this is one of my favorit bikes.
I’ve had several GoldWings to include the DCT Tour airbag model. No longer for me though as I now ride the Indian Pursuit Dark Horse Icon Premium edition. The Indian is the best bike I’ve ever owned in nearly 50 years of riding two wheels.
No doubt My favorite one its the Stunning, Spectacular, Awesome and Powerful Honda Gold Wing Tour ❤!!!, Great explanation and video as well Thanks for sharing 👊👍✌️🥇!!!
I have two Harley's and a little Honda CTX 700 . My Streetglide is the stripped down ( no big rear seat , back box ) on it which i love that look . It will tour to the moon and back but at one point i liked the Yamaha Eluder discontinued now i believe but readlined at 4,000 rpms which would of been a pain . To me out of all these bikes id go with the Goldwing only no top box version ( i ride alone ) . Only thing with the Honda is it has too much stuff on it ! Buttons all over the tank area ect . But its bloody hard to beat a Honda .
The CVO is double the price of some others here that have more modern features in suspension, etc. I have the BMW K1600B Grand America and it is the one that the rider looks back at in admiration after parking it.
When you say a bike has ample power, you fail to state what the 0-60 mph times are. Why is that? Those who wrote the script for this video did not carefully check details.
you might want to proof read the Voyager info..... A: It's a water cooled motor. B: there's no touch screen & the roughly 4"x5" display is certainly not "large". C: The "suite of technological features" is hardly "advanced" considering what else is out there! D: there's no GPS or phone integration built-in & the only way to get Bluetooth audio or phone is by purchasing a 3rd party interface device since Kawi no longer produces an adaptor. Am I sure you ask? Very much so since I ride it's bagger counterpart, the VN1700 Vaquero...... With the exception of the KACT braking system Kawi hasn't upped their tech game since they introduced these bikes in 2010
Actually, the Voyager is air and oil cooled. I used to own one. Also Kawasaki used to get a lot of feedback from owners related to hot air off the rear cylinder, until the finally fixed it.
That’s an amazing BS video who mislead people….Kawasaki Vulcan has not entertainment system, just a radio. Yamaha discontinued their bike since 2020…. Shame on you.
HARLEY DAVIDSON : FULL SPAKBOR .. JADI-NYA KOTORAN DAN AIR TIDAK MELUBER KE MANA-MANA MOTOR RELATIF BERSIH HONDA DAN BMW : MINIM SPAKBOR .. AIR DAN KOTORAN MELUBER KE MANA-MANA MOTOR MUDAH KOTOR
Kawasaki Voyager info was way wrong there's no infotainment system not even Bluetooth Kawasaki is still in the dark ages of technology and hasn't changed the bike in forever.
Terrible review. So much bs…..like Indian has been around for a hundred years…..uh they went out of business after 1952. Today’s Indian is made by Polaris (the snowmobile company).
One more beautiful than the other but neither has the spirit of the motorcycle. These are not motorcycles but armchairs on wheels. Fortunately they are not liked in Europe and if one happens to pass the ironic smiles behind the rider's back are endless.

You should ride the Dallas to key large. Once in Florida the traffic is light and the route is scenic, watch out for deer and swine.
Gold is gold 👌🏼 Goldwing ❤
Beautiful bikes I think Honda is number one and Harley is number two
Honda is better than Harley Davidson. bc Honda have Strong engine but Harley have many problems
Almost all of the info on the Kawasaki Voyager was wrong and the Yamaha Star Venture was not produced in 2023.
Always been liquid cooled......
@@alm4132 I just finished sending my comments on this very thread of bad info
Weird information.
Last year I rode from San Francisco to New York on an 1984 Honda C90 wearing an open face helmet, it was memorable 6 months
Iron Butt for sure!
Damn that’s wild!

For your money the Honda Goldwing at $25,000 is half the cost of the Harley CVO at $50,000 ! I'll pick the Goldwing anytime
No question about it.👌
K1600 more nimble more luggage room and equal to Goldwing no.4?
Honda Goldwing is still so ahead of other brands
Love me some gold wings awesome Bike
The Yamaha Star Venture was discontinued in 2020. Where do you get it 2023 model? This sounds misleading 🤔
They also said the Kawasaki was air cooled. It's got a really big radiator for an air cooled bike!
i keep reading that a 2024 model is coming out, maybe you can't buy them here
I own a 2021 Yamaha Star Venture, that was the last year.

1:57 I see the StarVenture as a Road Glide with the fineness of a GoldWing.

bmw...in my opinion
Suzuki Boulevard c109r 1800. Most amazing bike I've ridden. Before it's over. I may go Honda trike

@@brendanwood5243no it didn't come with one .

Yamaha star venturer desain terindah.. Keren..!!
I ride a Valkyrie (old generation), but aspire to a F6B one day. But those intakes on the star venture are way sexy!!
Honda ❤

Nice A.I. generated video!
Honda raised the bar in 2018, and made a few refinements thru 23.
I thought the Yamaha was discontinued 2 years ago?
It was, 2021.
BMW K1600 or Honda Gold Wing
Moto guzzi mgx-21 flying fortress??! 🤔
i like goldwing vs K1600
❤❤
I rode the BMW, Honda, and Kawasaki. I'll take the Kawasaki every time.
💕💕💕👍👍👍
King honda
Only the bmw and honda are worth the money
Beamers are endless money pits 😂
so, only the Honda then? gotcha
Kawasaki Vulcan is cheapest and definitely worth it. Half the price of most of these.
Spoken like someone that owns none of them.
I bet u no nothing about these motorcycles
Never paying 40k for a bagged 1200cc. Insane.
Salute
Thanks Mr. Roboto! @8:54, I turned on the CC and it said "A 131 Vegan Engine"? WTF is a Vegan Engine Mr. Roboto?
VERY CHEAP. IN MY COUNTRY MALAYSIA THE PRICES ARE VERY RIDICULOUS, THE GOVERNMENT TAXES 200%
Its ok..our oil still cheap ..just RM2.05 for RON95😂
same here in indonesia
They underpriced the legendary goldwing for sure….
They used the non-tour MSRP.
I love my Eluder
Honda Goldwing 1800 series are the best tourers. The rest are expensive time bombs
When you say a bike has ample power, you fail to state what the 0-60 mph times are. Why is that? Those who wrote the script for this video did not carefully check details.
they didn't make a 2023 Star Venture ! I have an 2018 model They stop making them between 2020 and 2022
Msrp for wing is $29,500 or more now.
I have a Harley ultra limited but the Honda gold wing is much better and a lot cheaper priced .
The MSRP on the Goldwing Tour starts at over $28,000. You used the price of the non-tour Goldwing. Big difference.
who paid you to put harley at #2?

Correction,Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 is not air cool, is water cool.
Goldwing for me all day long! Yes, I have one! 😍🥰 BTW: Vulcan is liquid cooled not air!
Question. Who can afford them now?
The Wing is still the king
There's no 131 motor on that CVO it clearly says 117. This whole video is full of crap and misleading.
Your right but I believe if you buy any new M8 Harley then you can actually pay extra 😵😵💫and put a 135 in it .$$$$$
Kawasaki is the best value and most reliable.
The Indians’ fairings look like they were designed by the work experience kid.
Misleading info on the Voyager. Plus, where is the BMW Trans Continental ???
Voyager is water cooled
Actually, the Voyager is air and oil cooled. I used to own one. Also Kawasaki used to get a lot of feedback from owners related to hot air off the rear cylinder, until the finally fixed it.
A touring bikes comparison without BMW R1250 RT? 🙄
Kawasaki Yamaha Honda they are better than Harley Davidson
More reliable?
yes @@lkhbhydroponic6858
Also Indian
HONDA , YAMAHA KAWASAKI , nr. 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HONDA GOLDWING
POWERFULL

THE BEST
He opens his mouth and suddenly Voyager is air-cooled. Oh man!
Yamaha all the way
If I need something that heavy I'll take my Dodge 3500. 😮
The cheapest bike is the best. Honda all day long.
BMW is the Chief....
I'd buy the Kawasaki. I'm not spending more than $20K for a bike.
BMW K1600 #1.
That’s an amazing BS video who mislead people….Kawasaki Vulcan has not entertainment system, just a radio. Yamaha discontinued their bike since 2020….

Well, the best touring bike is not there, I'm speaking of the obvious BMW RT.

The Goldwing and BMW utterly shit over the rest ✅
I own anST1300 and an FJR 1300. They put to shame these overweight fat and not so elegant monsters. Sorry to be a party pooper
Don't waste your time with this post...too much misinformation.
nothing compare to GL 1800 DCT
