I use a heated metal plate to eat from. Have to use a glove to hold it but it works. The vehicle restriction is because of those that don't think and go down there the day after the water goes down and its still muddy and leave huge tire ruts everywhere which would make it a bad place to camp. That is what I found out after going to the ranger station and asking. 🤠
Good to know. The reason the ranger told me was. I can understand the reasoning, but since it was not wet and we were not tearing up the ground I think it would have been more appropriate to give us a warning instead of $460 in fines.

Think I got a ticket in that same area.. it’s kept me from bothering to go back.
