Another fantastic vlog. That pasta dish. It was interesting to see how to use the dutch oven. I was looking at your portions and I remember when I used to eat a lot more. I was very active like you. Now I cant imagine! Great vlog!
We camped by that bridge in January a couple years ago. It was a gorgeous 60° that day but that night it dropped into the teens 🥶 We only stayed 1 day because I was scared to venture off & leave our stuff there with that spot being so secluded. We’re definitely heading back out there this fall in that spot is more accessible.
I enjoy seeing the Dutch Oven cooking in action. Pasta dish looks scrumptious. I've learned to use lump charcoal. Though hotter temp's create a faster cook time, but requires more attention, and rotation of the oven.
hey Cody and Kelly, love all of ur videos.thank ya’ll for offering a clean enjoyable show to watch, that is hard to find these days.God Bless y’all for that, also for the way u take care of our beautiful outdoors.keep u the work and enjoy every minute ur out there, stay safe.a fan from NC and TX
DOME LIFE ha sorry not sure on the name. But it was the first spot at y’all were at on the video. We went like two weeks ago and it was a little chilly! Prolly shoulda stayed on a lower ground camp spot but we made it through the night!
If you clean up trash on FS Land, communicate with your local Ranger District in future attempts. If you work with staff, you might be able to dispose of the waste at the district office or they could have a different idea in mind. The key is that you don't do anything ahead of time and report the problem first. That way there won't be questions as to where the trash came from. Trash on your public lands is a never ending problem and this year is worse than many years past. Thank you for caring :).
We try lol. It took a while to get to this point. Been together since 2006, but did not start camping until 2016. Thank you for watching! Hope you are enjoying them.
Nice. My wife got into Dutch Oven cooking and we took our RV and Jeep out to Utah for 30 days (whole month of September) and cooked all of our meals outside (except for a few good Restaurant meals like in Moab) outside on Dutch Oven with the brickets and round bricket starter just like you showed...works great. Also the quality of your videos have improved dramatically from your first ones...the B Roll stuff you inject is great. Keep it up and thanks for sharing!!!
That sounds like an amazing trip! We really enjoyed the Dutch Oven. What was y’all’s favorite meal y’all cooked on your trip? Thank you for you kinda words about how our quality has improved. We are trying to step up our game.
We're headed to LR and Ouachiita for xmas *this* year! (I was just searching for all your old vlogs from there and found this!) We'll be in a different kind of setup, but hopefully, we'll find some of these remote locales/hikes in our Jeep! Oh and that dutch oven dish looks amazing!
Love your videos...but killed me to see you set the dutch oven lid flat on the ground and then put it back on the pot. I did that when I first started using one and got leaves and junk all on the bottom of it...which ended up on the food! Learned to use a lid stand from Lodge.
OMG, y'all are going to get sick of me. I love Forked Mountain and I know exactly where the campsite near the falls is. I am still watching this video, I hope y'all climb Forked Mountain, I did and it was awesome. I lived in Hot Springs Village for the last 6 years I was in Arkansas, the Hwy 7 area has so much to offer, unfortunately, most folks never venture to far from Hwy 7.
I love your channel. I have a question, did you sauté the spinach with the reserved sun dried tomato oil? I’m looking forward to making this dish. Thank you and have a blessed day.
8:50 "Freshly cracked Himalayan Sea Salt". You folks know what you're doin! I just learned what Burrata cheese is! Check out all the benefits of sea salt: www.wheatiesseasaltcookbook.com/
Wow, "Piddle around"! I haven't heard that expression since I was a kid growing up in the 40's and 50's in rural Illinois. (17:00)
Kellie is like a mad dog when it comes to food

Waters so clear.
This is one of my favorite spots to camp! Finally made a video of it, in the process of editing it!
Thank you for watching! Which camping spot? Oak or crystal?

Really enjoying your videos. I made chicken manicotti just last night but in the oven. Yours looked better. 😋
Thanks for watching! Chicken manicotti, I bet that was delicious!
Great video!

I just sent you a link to amazon where we got them. Thank you for watching our vlog! Happy New Years!
@@CodyandKellie thank you so much
Great video. That looks like lasagne. Does it taste similar? Channel lock pliers make great lid lifter.
Thanks! I don’t think it taste like lasagna. The spinach changes it up a bit.
Why are so many videos missing 😢 went from Estes in august to Christmas? Also can’t seem to find the Napa video either.
We deleted some older videos
I love your channel. I have a question, did you sauté the spinach with the reserved sun dried tomato oil? I’m looking forward to making this dish. Thank you and have a blessed day.
Thanks for watching! No you did not have to sauté the spinach. We just toss it in there. You can add the oil in the mixture as well.
Awesome thank you so much!!!!
What did you to get the bears to go away?
Noting. Just let them do their thing and they walked on off.

Are you required camping permits? Or is there a fee?
There are not camping permits or fees in the National Forest. It’s all free.
What state
No mountain biking. lol
Things didn’t work out the way we planned. Thanks for watching!
Dutch oven! Isn’t that where you let out a special silent but deadly gas, and pull the blankets over your partner’s head?
