Here after the announcement for the new lab. asking for a new workspace for float plane, a new engineering den, higher more fashion designers.... man he has gone places. both the space and his production ability
As disorganized as this setup is, I kinda like it! It has the very startup like feel to it, similar to what can be seen in films like The Social Network or Jobs. Its awesome!!!

That particular Quadro isn't much faster than a 750 Ti. It's a workstation card but it's not a particularly fast card. Don't quote me on it, but I believe that's a Quadro 4000, based on a GTX 470

Wow, I would seriously love to work there. I prefer productive/messy work environments, than expending resources into something work unrelated. Also my dream is to have the chance of working with Adobe AE in a Quadro/64gb/xeon computer.
We are talking about rendering. Davinci resolve, Adobe, Bender, software that is optimized for extensive multicore processors. Not for watching UA-cam videos and playing BF4. Also we're talking about working in an enterprise. $600 dollars for 4% more power is worthy enough.
You know I was depressed about our server and network setup and then I saw that disaster area of a bathroom and the random pile of network gear. Now I can at least say "Well at least it isn't like LinusTechTips." :)

Looking at this video in 2020, it is just amazing how far LMG has come in the space of a few years. Space really is the word, because they went from having not having enough room in a house to filling up multiple warehouse spaces. I have to say I like their new digs better than their 2014 location.
Well knowing Linus I'm sure he has everything backed up :). Unless he can afford 24/7 security there's always a chance of someone breaking in, owning a business means risking money and time, got to pay a little to get a little.
Man, as someone with a passion for but very limited success so far as an entrepreneur, the growth of Linus Tech Tips is pretty damn inspiring! Not exactly an easy industry to grow a business this big this fast in. Kudos Linus and everyone else behind the scenes that helped build it brick by brick! :)
