As a vet tech, I strongly agree with never using shock collars. Almost every single one Ive seen come into our office is also so damn tight on the pet that the abrasion and pressure alone is causing the pet pretty serious discomfort and pain.
Also if set up with geofencing or anything like that it can be quite traumatising since the thing that triggers the collar is invisible, the dog could just be walking across your garden, across an empty space and get zapped because they went over the imaginary GPS line. At least with fences or walls there is a physical barrier they can associate with a boundary they aren’t allowed to cross. Also at first it may take the dog a while to know why they are getting shocked with the geofencing, a dog isn’t going to think, oh I got shocked, I must have gone outside of the GPS boundary, all they know is that they were walking and got shocked possibly causing them to run about mad still outside of the GPS boundary and constantly being shocked. Anyway the whole idea and concept behind it isn’t ethical anyway, there are better ways to train your dog that actually work better. Shock collars and especially the GPS geofencing ones are just for lazy dog owners who probably shouldn’t have dogs in the first place.

Further south it is so easy to mouth shit on the 100% brick/concrete walls, just drill, put some wall plugs for concrete and tighten the screws until you can't do it anymore.
His setup of his electronics before the upgrade is accurate to what I expected from a lot of Electrical Engineers that I’ve met. Just because you’re an engineer doesn’t mean you’re versed with everything technical…. and aesthetics. Practicality comes first even if not efficient.

Not entirely true. The back of most OLED TVs is a thin plate of metal that acts as a heatsink/heatspreader.
This one doesn't seem to be an OLED though...
I don't even have epilepsy but I really appreciated the photosensitivity warning along with a "ending beep"! It's all about the little details.
22:15 LMAO!!! Mehdi is totally me when I work with people around my stuff!! That dudes face when Mehdi "tested" the wall mount LOL!!
ok linus is OFFICIALLY INSANE for inviting him again! Seriously though, love this duo! haven't watched it yet and already know it's good
EDIT: Yes as someone mentioned, I didn't watch the video yet at the time. I know Mehdi invited Linus not the other way around😅
Worse. He went inside the lair. That's like going to Radahn's flat and saying "yo Mr. Starscourge Radahn we brought you some streaming gear and a new respirator for the hospice"
Linus didn’t invite him this time he got invited himself this time 😂
the views he got last time enticed him to get zapped again.
@@Shlonzs didn't even watch the video. was just happy to see them again
@@viperdemonz-jenkinsbut with a dog collar this time round😂
great show , I've subscribed to them both for a long time so it's nice to see them finally get together.
00:44 Elf Tech Tips
😂😂😂
Mehdi is proof that you dont need high end gear to be a successful UA-camr. Glad to see him finally get the upgrade he deserves.
Love these collabs! Maybe for the next one you head over to Norway and do a tech upgrade for Hansi and Martina (Nerdforge)?
Elijah is absolutely the best part of these videos LMAO "Elijah is a sweet, precious boy and we need to protect him, so that's why we didn't set up your saw" 😂❤
This kid scares me...not like "afraid of my life" but more "I'm afraid for the level of ineptitude in the next generations."
@@rabidwallaby84 bro, we all did dumb crap, this generation isn't any worse than any of the others. And if they are, it's their parent's fault, not theirs
@@rabidwallaby84 Boohoo
@rabidwallaby84 if one clumsy dude who happens to be fairly young is enough to make you question an entire generation (or two), that shows an issue with your judgement, rather than an issue with that generation.
Plus, the video also shows Jake, a very competent person who's in the same generation as Elijah. 💁
@@rabidwallaby84womp womp
I freaking love you 2 together. He absolutely deserved this upgrade for bringing such enjoyment to all of us.
20:10 as an audio/video technician from the lower mainland.... I felt that pain. Not to mention how many of the stores I've done video walls for that said "oh yeah, we're putting backing in" and then there is no backing so I have to use like 8 drywall sinkers per mount.
Further south it is so easy to mouth shit on the 100% brick/concrete walls, just drill, put some wall plugs for concrete and tighten the screws until you can't do it anymore.
Super glad we could make this happen
Ok bro origin
that elf burn hurts more than the electricity that electroboom experiences everyday
If I have this RTX 4090, bro I'll render my photorealistic CGI 3D projects in just like almost real-time path tracing!
Unlisted craziness
?
@@HeisenbergFam338I'm guessing the video was unlisted
I saw it on Twitter where they posted the link early
This has got to be one of the most hilarious collabs I've seen. Absolute gold that you guys managed to do this together!
Thank you very much for the flashing lights warning with audible beeps highly appreciated
His setup of his electronics before the upgrade is accurate to what I expected from a lot of Electrical Engineers that I’ve met.
Just because you’re an engineer doesn’t mean you’re versed with everything technical…. and aesthetics.
Practicality comes first even if not efficient.
I just want to say, THANK YOU!!
Finally someone decided to help him out, and with all that he has done, i now expect 4k video from him. Wait, where am i going with this?
Anyways, thank you for what you have done to help the ElectroBOOM production team.
Why do people think he couldn't upgrade? 🤨 He has 6.5m subs, he just bought a house. He knows plenty of tech people. HE absolutely COULD have upgraded if he was sufficiently motivated. Obviously, he was making do with what he had. It's hard to do stuff without the right motivation and/or pressure.
@@I.____.....__...__ he didnt had to because he come from a very humble background. be happy with what you have kinda.
If anybody deserves this hook up, it's Mehdi. He seems like a great guy
The Steam Deck vent unironically smells so good
Right? I like using it to warm my fingers on chilly days too
This feels like two long lost cousins finally getting together and messing around for a whole day
You know Linus and Mehdi are uniquely compact when they can share the spotlight and still both fit within the focus range of one camera lens
Mehdi is every electrical engineer I know. No regard for ESD, puts in half the screws, no intrest in cable management. But mostly, zero safety concern. The man.
idk if anyone follows Electroboom, on twitter but he has been so appreciative of this build and what Linus, has done for him. This video is awesome, and just love watching these two!
I now want to see Electroboom, do a collab with the LTT lab guys.
Mehdi always looks so joyful to -shock the crap out of- collaborate with Linus.
Linus, never stop beeing a good sport. 4:45 in and laughed more then during a movie. Ur childishness is why this is so damn good.
I love how Elijah is ALWAYS on edge in every video… totally me.
it's cringe and annoying
@@kh-ro5su Hey, to me it's pretty god damn funny but to each their own
19:29 Wow Mehdi! 200ms response time!
I've watched every one of the tech upgrades and never seen someone so genuinely happy they've hugged linus ❤
14:27 AAAAHHHHHHHH a magnet on a CLOCK!?
@21:00 he was saying things but I think he was actually casting a spell to summon the Demon Lord.
What's Elijah doing out in the wild without his proper protection gear?
17:11 Those IKEA brackets butted up against each other would drive me insane looking at them. You know they sell joiner brackets that would serve the purpose of both brackets, but in one piece?
Thank you so much. I was triggered by that and I'm happy to know there they provide a solution.
Electrobooms personality is so fun. Hes extremely entertaining and his wrecklessness works so well in this context
0:44 bruh that was such a good roast 😂
17:13 Guys, IKEA has "double sided" holding brackets, specifically designed so that you don't need to mount two brackets right next to each other.
Dude. It’s not the TV companies making bad mounts, it is american builders making bad walls. 😂
Elijah wearing the t-shirt with stickman falling from the stairs got me 😂 True inside joke. He is great addition to this already great team
So excited for this! Mehdi is a great guy ;)
i mean it as a compliment, he also in my opinion looks kind of like trevor from grand theft auto
22:22 ⚠️ I believe you're supposed to pull on the TV until it clicks. That's how you know it's locked into place. (I've mounted The Frame before.)
Also, if you've got issues with the AOD not turning off automatically, make sure you've set the slideshow interval > the sleep time, or it will never go into sleep!
16:56 they are in sync, lost brothers
Can never get enough of these two, always great on camera together and no-one more deserving of an upgrade than Electroboom
