But for the memes😂
Don’t worry, Linus will right it off his taxes
I am absolutely in awe at the effort that went into this video
Seeing the old kitchen brings back memories
Everything about this video was golden, from the set up to the jokes about the "things" and "stuff"... to the very final final final clip (please tell me that wasn't planned lol).
Well played!
to think the time it took to pull this off, probably took almost a week of disassembling most of the equipment from the main studio and bringing all the servers over and then setting them all back up, and then probably a day, possibly even 2 of this shoot with everyone crammed into the house, then to take everything back down and rebuild it back in the main studio, also why do i feel like linus shaving his beard was some method so we could be acclimatised to him shaved so that he can make this nugget of nostalgia
Uhh no, probably a few real working rigs set up and then just a bunch of filler, just random computers and monitors and stuff.
Yeah. They're mostly using old stuff too. And many laptops. So maybe a small team did take a week to set most of that up. But the rest of those hundred people were probably busy at work.
They didn't move the servers over, exactly, they're using their old formerly-retired ones (if they're actually using them, and they're not just there for show). Presumably once they're done, the servers go back into storage.
I guarantee this was all spare or retired equipment sitting in inventory, except maybe some of the laptops.
Realising Linus scheduled the upload for basically exactly as it turned april first SOMEWHERE on the planet - was uploaded 11 hours ago and is about 11am at the dateline atm
Brilliant
Should have had linus trip over a wire at the end and disconnect everything at the end, lol
Love how actual content was produced here! That one tech news, and the Wan show on the inflatable couch make so much sense now!
Turns out it is already April 1st in KIRIBATI,
It baffles me how far Linus go prank,
I mean they FREAKING shifted the office
Kiritimati* :)
Linus dropped the calendar, so he doesn't know the date today
@@paush51 No. Kiribati.
@@paush51 no the country is called Kiribati, Kirimati is an island that makes up only part of the country, although Kirimati is in the section of Kiribati that has the first timezone in the world so both you and @I_love_learning are technically correct.
As someone who’s being watching LTT for over 10 years, this is so nostalgic. Reminds me of when you did the video saying why you needed the “new” office (still waiting on that bronze GabeN statue btw!)
It’s so cool you got to go back to the old office, I had no idea you still owned the property. Reminds me of all the amazing old videos, and the classic kitchen set :)
I'm pretty this is April fools. Otherwise, why did they expand their team so much and take over more offices?
@@aurvaroy6670 yeah it's April Fools, it's just nice to see the old house again
You guys and gals really REALLY put a LOT of work into this shoot.. wow I'm like SUPER impressed. Nice job team, seriously. I know you'll never see this comment, but Linus and all who you love and love you back, you're a wonderful part of my and my family's life. Thank you.
Must have been difficult to shoot with how much everyone had to hold back their laughter during this whole ordeal
THATS WHY THE GUY WAS SITTING IN THE CORNER IN TECHLINKED
2:17 Someone at the editing team must be really proud of that transition. That's smooth!
That one was soooo smooth
Butttterrryy smooth transition. Holy cow
Hopefully they didn't edit the opening of the video
You guys seriously outdid yourselves. Peak viral video. I’ll remember this video for years. Nice job LTT team
4:18 "The Activate Windows" alert was a nice touch
That’s probably not specific to this video though. They use unactivated windows for their videos all the time :))))
@@سعیداکبرزاده-غ7ه well this is meant to be an editor workstation. That'd drive 'em nuts
I've gotten so used to hearing Linus' presenter/caster voice I almost bought the intro, he also sounded eerily convincing for the rest of it. Very good acting
6:00 she really held it in
You laughed at yourself and redeemed the plot while also giving us all an awesome laugh! This was so well done, thank you!
This made me feel extremely nostalgic. Also thanks for the opportunity to win a PC, much appreciated
Win? He said anyone who asks in the comments gets a gaming computer. I already put in my order.
Yeah you just order a gaming computer, DM Linus and they will foot the bill! You should definitely do this.
5:59 SHE WAS FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE NOT TO LAUGH. 😂😂😂
My videos are better than TRASH TECH TIPS 😂😂
nah, i think it was mere seconds before she murders her boss for fiddling with her screen
It's amazing how you got so many people to fit in there, even assuming jumpcuts
are you sarcastic
You've LONG since crossed over from "UA-cam" videos to some of the best content. Better than many high budget TV shows from back in the day. Best channel.
17:22 Twist: Gary was saying "Arc" on purpose 😳
and of /course/ it's Dennis doing the whipping lol.
lol
No! He's right! XDDD
He was told that Arc was the safe word. Linus just didn't tell him it was also the wrong answer
Wait, do you mean this was planned from the start? Like he would go on a video and purposely say arc was better just to plant the joke for a future video. Like this was all scripted from the beginning? Who would think to do that. My god, you’d need like a whole room of writers to come up with a plot that complex.
describing Nolan as "over 19%" of the customer support team is an extremely good line
Why?
@@YesHumphreyAppleby because he's one of five members which makes him exactly 20% of the team
@@giddycadet Assuming they are all equal.
@@qwertyferix they're all one person each yeah
He’s doing Gods work.
Thanks for the PS5 jailbreak files!
I hate my life I clicked on it
I never thought I would see the old house again, memories. Great video guys, it was a lot of fun to watch.
Bro the amount of work for the meme is not lost on us. Thank you everyone for doing this.
what meme this is real
The green screen guy in the techlinked video makes a TON of sense now.
I'm crying more than Sarah must've for all those t-shirts. You guys continuously outdo yourselves.
Someone losing it behind the camera at 14:13 is delightful
I’m always impressed how hard LMG goes on April Fools jokes😂
it's march...
Im supprised its not April Fools
I just had the constant thought "Damn what a high effort shitpost"
I mean, that part of the joke, right ???? RIGHT ?!?!!?!?!?!
Edit: I too am joking, pls don't ban me. thx
This seems like such a hassle i feel a bit bad for the employees lmao
I CANNOT believe how much work you guys went through for this video. The ammount of stuff you moved and setup!?!?
Did anyone else spot the armed guard behind Sven from the Business team? F***ing hilarious!!
10:00 was scrolling through the comments while listening, didn't expect a pump shotgun as the weapon of choice for the Armed Guard
Stacking workers on shelves! Brilliant! I'm going to bring this up at the next managers meeting at work
Absolutely expected a "HELP US" note from the window when Linus was talking in the end. So i guess they truly like the new working space. A great future for LTT ahead.
