Not everything goes as planned but glad to see when it does. Went to swap out my front sway bar bushings on my Dakota, figured hey it's up in the air from greasing the front end lets replace the original ones, NOPE. Going to my parents tomorrow to borrow my dad's 18" water pipe cheater bar and larger drive socket. Sometimes you got to get a bigger hammer.
Just going to add the Bravada to the list of vehicles that come with these sway bars. They actually came with the front and rear sway bars. Read sway bar was rear facing.
Thank you for the video. Are you saying the brackets are bolted on the Blazers? I thought they were welded on the frame? If they simply unbolt that is good news indeed.
I'd be lying if I remembered the whole scenario, but I'm pretty sure I unbolted the brackets from a S10 Extreme, and pulled the sway bar and axle mount from a blazer. So the brackets should unbolt from a ZQ8 s10 (newer body style)
@@RacerXGarageI have done this on a first gen pickup(86), and am fairly certain the boltin brackets are only on pickups not on Blazers. And they are hard to find at the wrecking yard.

leverage is def key to some of these things! I always use my jack handle, its been great for decades

A plasma cutter would be handy just to blast a hole thru to mark where to drill. Then drill from the outside. Just a thought.
