IKEA for redknecks love it. Also morning bud
shelves look good and there tucked in nice. good job
Thanks Jerry, they're super helpful already!
I have both a trans cooler kit with the inline thermo switch and also an auxiliary e fan that I mounted on the outside of the radiator as a pusher from American Volt. Both have been in my 2000 Cherokee for almost 3 years now and no issues at all.
I'm still a fan so far as well. Its been great stuff!
Solid work on LMC5 module installation-many out there but yours is the best. I got the pull key wait issue. Great job!
Thanks! I hope it helps out!
So this is not the 2.5 OHC Mitsubishi sourced motor..?
yeah, 1996 were amc/jeep 2.5 4 cylinders. They had a cam in the block so they are OHV, they're identical to a Jeep 4.0 but with 2 less cylinders.
My Gaykota 2.5L cam in block has a hard time pulling and stopping the Z turn, but I couldn't kill that summa beotch.
they usually run forever, this one we bought with a blown head gasket though
s10 or Astro swap SBC swap BBC swap LS swap sometimes it IS better to cut your losses though. Dad had an Elco with a perfectly running engine, but the starter mounting pad broke. it got welded so many times.... it had to get scrapped. Was your failure caused from water just sitting in the block? I've never had this issue.
yeah it was just water in the block and a very cold freeze. The water expands when it freezes and cracked the block. It was a tough blow, for sure and we're ready to take on a different project for the water.
@RacerXGarage Ooooh the freeze. Yeah... where I'm at we don't get those cold temps.
Hey, I love your content. I found you because of your 1996 Dodge Dakota series.. I currently have a 96 Dodge Dakota V6 and I’m doing my own work on it to keep it on the road and I’m having a hard time finding replacement parts for if you could share any advice you have from working on your own I would really appreciate it. I’m not a mechanic. I work in a factory any and all advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
These trucks are pretty simple overall. Your best bet would be to find a factory service manual on ebay or similar and there will be a ton of helpful info in it in regards to repairs. Good luck on your truck, thanks for watching!
Good Work !!!
Thanks Buddy!
No audio in this video
I'm not having the same issue, hope it was just a fluke
you guys are busting ass on that cyclone
Its come a long ways, still a long ways to go!
Morning yall
Morning!
It shouldn't be a hard swap since the truck already had a V8
Well, it already had this exact motor once before but we did a lot of upgrades including a new trans.
Nice find,LS Swap someday !!!!
I believe that is what he has planned for it
Mine went out years before there were UA-cam videos on what the problem was. At the time ABSFIXER was charging $150 and it was money well spent. Just to find someone that could keep it out of the dealers' hands was great. And not having to buy a new unit fantastic.
Yeah I think that is still a reasonable way to go, but since you have to remove it anyway I figured I'd give it a shot
Consider painting the door panels with some interior paint from Eastwood.
We used an interior die paint but the panels were so chalky and I don't they wanted to adhere to anything. Def worth a try though next time!
I love your channel man, i wanna do a wheel on mine but i dont know what to do about a horn

I’m going to LS swap a 92 Dakota. Been watching your videos and have gotten a lot of inspiration from your truck. Keep the videos coming lol I need all the help I can get😂.
Awesome to hear, good luck on yours!
Hi, how you get dash not to reboot during crank?
@@drwankeljr the Holley dashes are very sensitive to power draw so if you don't run the all time power and ground directly to the battery they're typically not happy and the draw from the starter drops the amperage enough to reset them. I ran a 10 gauge power and ground from the battery to under my dash and then ran the Holley dash power and ground to them and it fixed my issue.
@@RacerXGarage Thank you so much. I will definitely do this. I don't have the dash, I have the analog style gauges. I used the power wire from the car's original instrument cluster.
I’m doing this same build. Is that your stock throttle cable? Curious where you got your throttle cable mounting bracket. Thanks!
@@michaelharris3966 motion raceworks throttle cable, highly recommend - ua-cam.com/video/f5ykSHRoP0k/v-deo.htmlsi=pAVdyPRqUNsJybE4
@ thank ya much!
Thank you for making a vid on shortening the Holley harness. I'm about to dive into the same project on my Fairmont. Knowing other people have done this with success is giving me more confidence to do it myself. I was thinking I would buy extra cam and crank sensor connectors and shorten the shielded wires from the other end and leave the Holley layout as is on the ECU end. Thank you! 🤘🤘

@@nodice333 I know we have some slight interference when we turn so you cant turn to full lock at the moment but I believe ours is hitting the control arm. We do have DJI lowering Control arms, not sure if that makes a difference or not
Ever weighed your truck? Wondering how close it is to 3000
its around 3150 with me in it, so just under 3k.
I changed the brake and clutch fluid and since doing that the low brake fluid monitor is on and also it states to service traction control message is on and I have no clue as to what has caused this to happen. A couple of weeks ago the DIC info panel is not responding to functions all it does is show me present mileage and if I activate something like the cruise control or door is open it will display that for a few seconds then go back to the mileage and low brake fluid and traction control. I did install a new low fluid sensor in between the the two brake reservoirs and no change any help would be greatly appreciated ( forgot to mention that the DIC was working fine before I disconnected the battery positive post)
yikes... that does not sound fun, hope you get it sorted!
