Thanks, wish me some luck!!!
Do you know with the 12” is there room to put a car lift and raise it all the way up this is the size building I’m looking at
Yes, there is plenty of room for a lift
Yep, thats a crack in one of valve seats going up into port. Most likely one of the middle exhausts
your audio sucks. check your videos before release. to see if everything is ok.
Time for an LS swap.
jeep probably has a cracked head very hard to find them around here cool video thanks for sharing
The ducks were funny 😂
9:18 That's the Ignition Module. Fun fact, it's the same as a Ford from that era.
Good morning brother
I’ve got the same problem… is the any other reason you didn’t drill the hole larger on the booster instead of replacing the entire pedal. Mines an automatic so, while replacing the entire pedal is an option, I’d rather not be fighting other bolts under the dash
I don't remember why off hand, I may of mentioned why at the end of the video before the install. I think you can get away with it if you need to, I assume I just didn't want to drill it too large.
Thanks bud, needed to see how to take this thing apart, great help!
haha, well I played this one by ear! Good luck on yours!
What year explorer 8.8?
I believe this one came from 1998
I'm doing the timing chain, cover gasket, harmonic balancer, water pump, power steering pump, fan clutch, and radiator on my '91 W150 318. I don't WANT to pull the oil pan, but I might do it just to be safe. Great video, my dude!
if its not leaking, I wouldn't pull it. I only pulled mine because of the shavings. Good luck on yours, hope you don't have the same broken bolt issue I had!
I sure did NOT have that issue. Boy, my head hurt for you dealing with that 😆 the timing cover was a complete bitch to get back in place, but that's really the only issue I've run into thus far, it's been fairly smooth sailing *knock on wood*. I've been dealing with a fuel delivery issue on my taurus, so haven't had much time to work on the ol' Dodge, unfortunately
Class act thank you.
Glad to help! Thanks for checking it out!
Good Job 🍻😎👍
Thanks!
Nice job ruining that with a dime a dozen ls swap that every poor person does😂

glad to see your getting back on track hope everything going well, big fire you burnt your hair off lol
haha is that where it went!?!?!
Did you use spring insulators?
No on these springs, the don't need them in the pocket
Best terminator X internet install video on the internet hands down. You discussed everything in detail...now I'm ready to install mine. Thank you for the video. 💯
Wow, that's pretty high praise for an older video, I hope to do a better one one day. Thanks so much!
Today I learned how to remove my truck bed by myself. Thanks man
haha, great to hear! Good luck on your project!
Bell broke because driveshaft is short
We had enough clearance and there was no issues with the tailshaft. We're pretty sure it was caused by the converter spacer.
What camshaft?
Its a custom Brian Tooley Racing cam, 235/248 - 604/604 on 113

@@iansouch awesome, great to hear!!
@@RacerXGarage unfortunately the lights popped back on a minute after start up. Back to the drawing board😏
If theres not a 1 way check valve in that can, its not working and will screw up a tune. Theres a reason the mighty mouse system is $330 and the amazon kits are $40. Need a breather with a 1 way check valve.
These cans are baffled, and my motor is not boosted so the valve is not necessary at the moment. I do see what you're getting at though.
Great information! Thanks for making this video.
Glad to help! Good luck on your swap!
Glad to see you & others making video's on this old problem. I bought my 1998 C5 14 yrs. ago and never had Service Column Lock message, Pull Key Wait 10 Seconds message and my Security light worked correctly. Until 2019 my Security light would come on while driving, but would go off after a bit of driving. Then it started staying on longer while driving. Then my starting issue began. Took it to an Electrical shop and the manager said he knew exactly what it was. They did the Module bypass and my car done fine on the drive home. No Security light, no Service Column Lock message, No Pull Key, wait 10 Secs. message. Got home and went to drive the car a short time later and it cut off backing out of my driveway. Tried to start it and it started right up. But had the Pull key wait 10 secs. message. Which I'd never had before. So i waited 10 secs. and tried again all seemed fine. But i called the shop to let them know. They told me they've never had a module to fail. But told me to bring it back and they would replace the module they put in. Got the car back the second time and still had the same issues, security light on while driving & Pull key wait 10secs. message. So i didn't call the shop after the again. Because i felt they didn't know what they were doing at that point. But this was just the beginning of my nightmare! Because my car began to not start every time. Leaving me stranded numerous times over the past 5 yrs. Even just a few mos. ago. 5 yrs. ago i didn't know about these common issues with the C5s. But since then I've watched about every You Tube video & read Corvette forums about these issues. And last week for the first time, I got the Service Column lock message. I'm so frustrated because I love my car, but I don't know what to do at this point.
That stinks, sorry to hear you're having trouble with Modules. My only thought is to see if there was some way to un-program it from the BCM, but I am not sure if that is possible. Good luck, I really hope you find a long term solution!
You just saved me a few $$. Fixing mine this weekend.
@@jose.ramoscaban its not too bad, you won't regret it when you see your dash is cleared!

Does anyone know what's the best aftermarket headlamp company to go with? Because so many of them fog up inside or get water condensation inside.
That's a good question, I never had any issue with these but I don't remember the brand. Not sure if the box is in the video or not, but if it is you may be able to grab the brand off of it.
Does anyone know the gear ratio on a super t10 borg warner with 3 grooves on input shaft
I can't say for certain, but a quick google search mentions 3 grooves is 2.64 first gear and wide ratio. Found that to be consistent on a couple sites but here is a thread you can reference - nastyz28.com/threads/super-t-10-ratios.181903/
@@RacerXGarage thanku so much, is that a higher gear or lower its going behind a 350 with a 331posi 12 bolt
My son just bought my 1st truck back, 1991 Dodge Dakota Sport, I didn't realize it was the 1st year for the 5.2L. It's a single cab regular bed. He got a great deal on it, but she needs a LOT of love! Seeing Gramps gave us a vision of what his truck could look like! :D Thanks for making the video, many people think stuff is too slow, too ugly, too dumb for a video! We definitely enjoyed it! Sadly his is an automatic, but it's a rear wheel peel with a fun pedal! :D
They're great little trucks as long as they're not rusty! Glad you enjoyed the video! Hope you guys have a great time working on your project Dakota!
what size rims?
These are factory C4 Corvette wheels, I think they're 17x9
Thanks for the excellent step x step procedure. My C5 Z06 just locked me out after 6 years of driving it. Stuck in parking lot for 1 hour reading the forums on how to unlock to get home. Violently turning wheel did the trick but now after watching this vid, just ordered this bypass from Amazon to install as per your instructions. Thanks again.
Glad to help! Its not that bad to install, just take your time and then never worry about being locked out again!
@@RacerXGarage Installed it this past weekend - following your instructions and all went as planned. Now can travel with peace of mind - at least as far as that goes. Thanks again for excellent how-to.
nice work. I am going to make the same with my cj5 year 77 grill. thank you for this guide
Absolutely! Thanks for checking it out, good luck on yours!
Bad ass. How much does that run?
Unfortunatley not cheap, but too bad. Depending on your location and what you have planned they can range from 35-60k.
Oo dang that sucks brother...😮 How much did that box cost you, ive been considering a 72" box from HF too.
I used a 20% off coupon, I want to say it was $1300 something after the discount. I'm really happy with it!
Are you doing this out of your home garage? Just found your channel via that timing chain c10 video that was a nasty chain. You've been grinding hard on these videos i see, and I like that new shop you built. Is that shop a personal shop or a business shop? 👍👍
This video was before I had the shop so yes it was just in my garage. Everything you see on this channel is either my car or a close friends. I do it just as a hobby, the shop has been a dream of mine since I was like 16. Now I have too much stuff in it lol
Better replace that timing chain assembly while you're at it. I see slack on it.
So first, good eye! However, that is what this video covers; replacement of the timing chain. Maybe you didn't watch the whole thing, but yup, definitely needed replaced!
@RacerXGarage I thought that you were replacing it with an OEM timing chain. That's what I mean. But I see that you have a double lapped timing chain assembly.
I have the same problem with amp how do I fix this blue and white wires
I can't say I remember which issue you were talking about but I did find a lot of information on the FB groups. Might start there, unfortunately I sold this car a while back.
How to instal the adapter tool? Can't see anything
Its literally just removing the 3 bolts that hold on the crank pulley, and then installing this in its place. Its pretty intuitive, if you pull the crank pulley off it should make sense.
Say Bro.... Im a exhaust welder too.... i love doin exhaust work and i think you did a great job... your welds look nice and strong....nice dual set up.....but that song your playin the background i love it need that over my speakers in my shop.
Thanks! I'm still an amateur welder but this is quite the compliment! I'm not sure which song you're talking about but usually in the description it will show the music played and have links so maybe you can find it there. Thanks for checking out the video!
Since it has been a few months, how has the coilover worked out? Basic around town driving.
So far pretty good, they've needed a little adjustment, and I might could have went with the 400lb springs, but I need to get some more miles on before I have a better idea.
Great video. I randomly found your video. I have a 96 Dakota. And i want to know do you work on customers cars?
Thanks! Car stuff just a hobby so really only work on my stuff, or occasionally help out my other car friends.
Where can u get that rool or what is it called
The answers to both of these questions are listed in the video description.
My neighbor had a 4 door nova with a 3 speed manual. It could jump a coke can in the cul de sac.
So many coke cans, so little time! lol
12.70s with a simple cheap change !! Old school boxed hood scoop used if you can find one ! An air pan to make it complete and use it for the strip only !!!! Put the filter back on after racing it for street use !! It will make such a change in performance you will most likely have to jet it up 3 or 4 sizes !!!! You do that you will see 107 to 108 mph !!!! GUARANTEED !!!!! forced induction CHEAP !!!! That car is now sucking air thru a restrictive cleaner and all that engine heat !!!! If you value your hood get a spare hood but you are seriously choking out that motor !!! Or cut a circle out the size of the air cleaner putting a tall unrestrictive air cleaner on the putting a functional hood scoop on which will always help to organize and intensify air flow in your motor !!!! Engine will also run cooler !!!! I'm 61 retired from bracket racing with 20+ years experience !! Old school is still the most gratifying !!!! It takes more horsepower to turn a clutch and a manual transmission !!! They're fun but it does take away power and speed and more expensive to maintain also more frequently !!! 350 turbo are lighter take less horsepower and maintenance and it is rare for a torque converter to go bad !!!! Just some FYI !!! There are so many variables in small changes you could do to bring that beast down into the low 12s without changing the motor !!! But it is important to find out your engine's component numbers and existing parts !!!! That what you have is a pure diamond in the rough and make great bracket cars !!! Perfect drag cars !!!! If I didn't have a Vega I would have had a 70s Nova !!!!!
haha, thanks for following along! I love the Nova and this was a ton of fun but this trip out was more a less a one time thing, it wont ever be something that gets raced often. The car is too original to cut up or add roll bars/subframe connectors. It will also be getting a TKX 5 speed trans and lowering the gear so I can drive it more often. As well as building a more street-able roller cam 383. Appreciate the comments and advice! Have a great week!
